2/1-MVW Evansville, IN House Show Report

Missouri Valley Wrestling House Show Report
The Ford Center
Evansville, IN
Saturday February 1st, 2020

Night two of MVW’s three state weekend swing stopped off at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana for an eleven match program. The last time MVW ran Evansville, High Octane Wrestling’s John Sektor stopped in and ended up popping ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson in the schnozz with a right hand.

Nothing that eventful went down last night other than Lani Harlot and Trailer Park Queen Eva Perrin settling the issue of who would be the one true Queen of the Trailer Park and several #1 contenders had their final tune up to their upcoming title challenges next week in Enid, Oklahoma.  Oh, there may have been a bit of a pull-apart brawl near the end of the show- but we’ll get to that later.

The #2 vs. #3 men’s tag team match between Truckin’ Average Company and the Dark Overlords of Wrestling ended up getting moved to Sunday’s show when the DOW’s ‘Not Just Unbearable…Not Just Intolerable…He is…’ Justin Sufferable and ‘The Raconteur of Road Rage’ Triple R were offered a shot to be in a dark match at HOW’s Refueled XIV show last night. The two teams will meet tonight in Bloomington, Illinois.

Missouri Valley Wrestling Evansville, IN Results
MATCH #1-Eliza Rose defeated Laney Harrison @ 5:27
The new girl from Philly picks up her second MVW win as in many matches.

MATCH #2-Denver McMasters defeated Mr. Wrestling XXXIV @ 14:06
McMasters had fits with the wily, ring veteran but eventually wore him down and got the McMasters’ Lock to seal the win.

MATCH #3-The O’Neders: Rita and Anita defeated Sports Entertainment Corporation: Victoria McGill and Poison Penny @ 12:17
#2 vs. #3 Women’s Tag Team Division. Tori McGill had a big night in Murray, KY when she became the #1 contender’s in the Women’s Heartland division. But in Evansville, the SEC ran into a very motivated tag team in The O’Neders. No inter-faction shenanigans tonight. The SEC plain just got beat. Rita and Anita hit ‘That Thing They Do’ on Poison Penny and Anita got the pinfall moving them past the SEC in the rankings.

MATCH #4-Jack Fraiser defeated Pete Howe @14:03
-Fraiser remains ranked #4 in the Men’s Division with the win. Howe started strong but Fraiser finished well and sealed the deal.

MATCH #5-‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin defeated Delaney Foster (People’s Front of Berea- KY) @ 9:06
While the women’s division has been hijacked by the logjam caused by Lani Harlot and Christa Carmondy, the Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl keeps sharp and waits for her turn with a nice little win over Delaney Foster. Tess hit the Pizza Cutter for the win.

MATCH #6/QUEEN OF THE TRAILER PARK II MATCH: Lani Harlot defeated ‘Trailer Park Queen’ Eva Perrin @ 19:42
Eva came in hobbled a bit from the SEC’s attack on her the night before in Murray, Kentucky. But still, she started on the front foot and had Harlot in trouble early. But as the match wore on, Perrin faded. Harlot found her groove and by the time she slapped on the White Trash Compactor Perrin offered no resistance at the final.

Post-match, Lani celebrates being the Queen of the Trailer Park again.

Perrin again gets attacked by Christa Carmondy and eats a Mean Girl Crush for her troubles. She gets stretchered out by MVW’s medical staff.

MATCH #7-The Southern Boys-‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller and ‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams defeated Adam Ellis ‘The Exciter’ and ‘The Worst Heel in Pro Wrestling History’ Marty Laslo @ 7:10
Ellis and Laslo lasted a little longer than usual as the Southern Boys wanted to get their work in before facing off against the SEC (P.M.C. Banks/Kirk Walstreit) for the tag team title next week. The #1 contender’s for the Men’s Tag Team belts won when Miller hit the Southern Cross on Laslo.

MATCH #8-Backman Taylor Powerdrive-Charlene Backman and Brianna Taylor defeated Adrienne Banks and ’High Flying Intercontinental Flight Attendant’ Amie Velasco (with ‘Disco Loving, Jet Setting International Playboy from the East’ Sheik Yorbouti) @ 7:30
Same here. The #1 contender’s for the Women’s Tag Team title Backman and Taylor took their time with Banks and Velasco before getting the pinfall- Taylor spiked Banks with the Sledgehammer DDT.

Banks recovered enough to participate in a dance off with Velasco and Sheik Yorbouti after the match.

MATCH #9-Lisa Barbosa-Stevens defeated Natasha Littell @ 4:06
Barbosa-Stevens submitted Littell with the Ankle Lock in her final prep before challenging Sheline Carrigan next week for the Women’s Title.

MATCH #10-‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson defeated Bullethead @ 3:44
Dickinson met Bullethead head on and prevailed in an entertaining, but short, hoss fight with the Southern Fried Powerbomb.

Post-match, the crowd popped when the new MVW Men’s Champion ‘Big Money’ Darin Matthews ran down and struck Dickinson from behind with a lead pipe. This time though, Dickinson sensed danger and turned at the last second- he didn’t get the full force.

A pull apart brawl followed with the leader of the SEC ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann screaming at Bobby Ricky Michaels and Marty Gibson-Lane to get Matthews out of the ring away from Dickinson to ‘protect the SEC’s major investment.’

It took a few minutes for order to be restored.

MAIN EVENT/NON-TITLE-Women’s Champion Sheline Carrigan defeated Geena the Warrior Princess @ :28
Geena received a harsh lesson in wrestling 101 at the hands of the Women’s champion. She charged out fast to try and catch her off guard and ran right into a scoop slam. Carrigan then pulled her up and powerbombed her. Pulled her up again and hit the Canadian Destroyer for the win.

Post-match, Carrigan’s challenger next week Lisa Barbosa-Stevens came out accompanied by the Stevens Dynasty and Ted Tebow and the two had a final staredown before they returned to the back.

Dickinson and the Southern Boys came back out and had a sing along with the folks of Evansville…

…to end the show.
