Missouri Valley Wrestling traveled south down Interstate 55 last night to Cape Girardeau, Missouri for a power packed twelve match card that featured two title matches taped for this Monday night’s special ninety-minute edition of Wrestling Night in the Heartland and two non-title matches.

Tori McGill was originally scheduled to wrestle in the opener but she found herself added to a non-title women’s tag match that took place later on in the show against the Women’s Tag Team Champions- The Missouri Valley Fight Club.

Missouri Valley Wrestling Cape Girardeau, MO Results:
MATCH #1: Poison Penny defeated Charissa Hanson with the Poison Kiss @ 10:11
Penny not only had to deal with Charissa Hanson but her two sisters as well. She poison kissed Andrea and Melissa at various points in the match and then Charissa to put the match away.

A 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, commonly known as one of the most boring cars in the world, drives down the aisle towards the ring blasting out Barry Manilow’s ‘Ready to Take a Chance Again.’ The car stops and the ‘Most Uninteresting Man in the World’ Tom Smith exits for his match.

MATCH #2: ‘The Most Uninteresting Man in the World’ Tom Smith defeated Stan the Appliance Man (Truckin’ Average Company) with the Dull Roar @ 8:57
Smith and Stan the Appliance Man battled back and forth in a hard fought match. Smith came out on top with a late rush to win the match.

MATCH #3: Delaney Foster (People’s Front of Berea) defeated Kirsten Canfield with the Sunset Flip @ 11:46
Another tight match. Delaney has surprised everyone with her wrestling ability and picks up a win over a former Television title holder to earn a shot at the #1 contendership against the ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin.

MATCH #4: ‘Cowboy’ Dan Butler defeated Stan (Beer Bellied Softball Playing Ninja) with the Texas Lariat @ 12:42
It took a while for Butler to get going. But once he did, the Cowboy plowed through the Beer Bellied Softball Playing Ninja with relative ease.

MATCH #5: Georgia-Florida State Boundary: Skyler and Bryan defeated The Kings of Old School: Bobby Ricky Michaels and Marty Gibson-Lane- Bryan pinned Michaels with the This Is How We Roll You Up @ 8:20
The Southern Boys (‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller/’Dangerous’ Dan Williams/General DeBauchery) came down to the ring and jumpstarted their feud with the Kings of Old School when they distracted Michaels and allowed Bryan to hit the This is How We Roll You Up.

Post-match, The Southern Boys and the Kings of Old School brawled it out on the floor. Meanwhile in the ring, the victorious Georgia-Florida State Boundary conducted a song-a-long to their theme song ‘Up Down’.

MATCH #6: Backman Taylor Powerdrive: Charlene Backman and Brianna Taylor defeated ‘Former Hooter’s Waitress’ C.J. Lewis and “Queen Cool” Leah Iris- Backman pinned Lewis with the TCB @ 16:10
Lewis and Iris came out firing on all cylinders early on. About midway through, BTP kicked it into high gear and took Lewis and Iris to the woodshed to score the pinfall.

MATCH #7: Average Joe defeated William Daniels Bryan with the Average Slam @ 7:13
WDB started fast again but faded badly late. Average Joe picks up his biggest win in Missouri Valley Wrestling and inches up closer to title contention.

MATCH #8: Christa Carmondy defeated ‘The Shadow Warrior’ Shizuko Yamazaki with the Mean Girl Crush @ 3:56
The first real hiccup in Yamazaki’s MVW run. Christa hit the Mean Girl Crush out of nowhere to pick up the stunning win.

Post-match, Carmondy celebrates a little bit too enthusiastically in front of Yamazaki and gets attacked by the Shadow Warrior. Yamazaki spikes Carmondy with the Cranial Contusion and then walks out.
