MVWA 92 Preview

Tomorrow night, Missouri Valley Wrestling presents final MVWA show- MVWA 92 from the Redbird Arena in Peoria, Illinois to air this Sunday night on the new MVW’s Wrestling Night in the Heartland show.

Featuring five big matches on the card PLUS the new MVW CEO is introduced.  Since Thunderbolt Smith and ‘Long Haul’ Rick Hall have commitments in Tampa, Florida tomorrow night, Johnny Suave will sit in and calling all the action for you.

Angels of Death: Angel Scott and Angel Casey

Over five months into their title reign, the Missouri Valley Fight Club continue to dominate the women’s tag team division.

However, they face again the imposing figures of the former five time tag team champions Angels of Death. The last time these two teams met, Davisson and McDermott were pushed to the limit by Scott and Casey. Tomorrow night, can the AoD turn back the clock and win themselves a sixth title run? Or will the MVFC bring home yet another win and keep their long-running title run going?

‘The New Age Cybertronic Criminally Insane Rogue Sentient Robot Wrestling Machine’ Ultratron-5.1 with Delaney Foster and Matt the Backstage Technician

The last time these two met, at a house show in Evansville, Indiana, the match turned when the video screen fired up and Dawn McGill appeared- still stuck in 1946 at the stones on the hill of Irish na Dun. The match stopped. McGill told Ultratron-5.1 she was coming back to kick his ass. Ultratron-5.1 scoffed until McGill suddenly appeared on stage returning to 2019, came to the ring, and kicked his ass.

Now, Dawn McGill is officially retired from pro wrestling and on the glide path to becoming Mrs. Jackson Horne.   Ultratron-5.1 sees this as a golden opportunity to finally rise up and take the Heartland title that he so covets. However, despite the lack of dominance that described the Bill Dickinson title reign, Fraiser has proven to be a resilient Heartland champion. He’s held off the ‘The New Age Cybertronic Criminally Insane Rogue Sentient Robot Wrestling Machine’ so far. Can he do it one more time?

The Deplorables: Rah- the Sunshine God and ‘Red Solo Cup’ Ray McAvay
The Southern Boys: ‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller and ‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams
The Kings of Old School: Bobby Ricky Michaels and Marty Gibson-Lane with Jackson C. Horne

The Southern Boys and Kings of Old School have waged war with each other for several weeks now. These very same three teams faced off against each other in Evansville two weeks in a wild match that saw the Southern Boys and the Kings both get counted out, handing the victory to McAvay and Rah.

With a tag team title shot hanging in the balance now, chances are neither team will allow their emotions to get away from them- or the match. Winner gets the Tag Champions Corporate World, Inc.   The Southern Boys are itching to get another crack at the champions and have to find a way to get past the roadblock put in front of them by the Kings of Old School.

Christa Carmondy
‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan with Coach E.J. Flack

Two former women’s champions with definitive designs on a women’s title shot will engage in a fight to overcome the other and punch their golden ticket. Carrigan has struggled somewhat after returning to MVW. This Saturday, she looks to be all business when she sets foot in the ring with Carmondy.

Carmondy seeks redemption and to keep herself relevant in an increasingly competitive women’s division plus a chance to regain the women’s title belt from Champion Lisa Barbosa-Stevens.

‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann is perceived to be the front-runner and logical successor to Jill Berg. However, a rumor quickly circulated today that perhaps someone else may be throwing their hat in the ring and will announce himself at MVWA 92.

Plus, the decision to end the MVWA super shows has cast doubt on whether McMann is the one to lead Missouri Valley Wrestling forward. McMann states he knows nothing about the change. Jill Berg says she did not make the announcement on her own. Who made the call? And is he or she the next MVW CEO?

‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson of the Southern Boys vs. William Daniels Bryan

By all accounts, William Daniels Bryan has fully healed from a leg broken at the hands of the Sports Entertainment Coalition late last year. But Bryan has not returned to the elite level he’d wrestled at before the injury. He will need to marshal all of his energy and talent to overcome the 330 Pound Southern Brawler ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson tomorrow night at MVWA 92.

After getting sidetracked in a feud with Ray McAvay, Dickinson has finally righted the ship and has been a one man wrecking ball through the men’s division. Tomorrow night, he has a chance to get one step closer to his ultimate goal- the MVW title.

Brains vs. brawn. Contrasting styles. Can Bryan peel off the malaise and regain his bearings inside the ring? Or will Dickinson steamroll past him on the way to a date with MVW Champion Charlie Blackwell.

Tune in Sunday night to MVW’s Wrestling Night in the American Heartland and see.
