7/14/2019-Missouri Valley Wrestling Presents: Sunday Night Wrestling

Thunderbolt Smith (voiceover): Last Week on Missouri Valley Wrestling’s Sunday Night Wrestling -the new MVW Women’s champion talks.

Bo Stevens hands the microphone to Lisa Barbosa-Stevens.

Lisa Barbosa-Stevens: Thank you. I want to say this to Christa Carmondy. You went down like a true champion should. You didn’t hide. You didn’t run. You brought the battle to me. And I appreciate and respect you for doing that.

The crowd applauds.

Lisa Barbosa-Stevens: Now, I see new challenges on the horizon. I see Sheline Carrigan. I see Lani Harlot. I see the return of Tessa Martin. And I see the arrival of a new wrestler from overseas- Shizuko Yamazaki. So, let me make this clear. I will be a fighting champion. And I await who will emerge as my next challenge.

Barbosa-Stevens raises the Women’s title belt in the air.

Thunderbolt Smith (v/o): ‘The World’s Most Uninteresting Man’ Tom Smith defeated Rick Beam- Country Club Pro w/Pool Boy Pete. Then…

Smith breaks out a few 1970’s disco moves inspired by the movie ‘Saturday Night Live’ in the middle of the ring.

Thunderbolt Smith: Tom Smith is your winner in our first match of the night-

Rick Hall: WATCH OUT!

Thunderbolt Smith: IT’S THE KINGS OF OLD SCHOOL!

Michaels and Lane hit a double clothesline from behind dumping Smith to the mat.

Horne climbs in and whacks Smith in the head with a cornet.

Then Michaels and Lane toss Smith out of the ring.

Jackson Horne: Let me introduce myself. My name is Jackson C. Horne. I am one of the greatest wrestling managers ever…the greatest *BLEEP*-ing tag team in history has come here to MVW for one thing and one thing only- the MVW Tag Team titles.  You better start thinking of the Kings of Old School as your future Tag Team champion. Get mad, get angry, I don’t give a *BLEEP* because that’s exactly what we’re going to do. We’re going to piss you all off because the Kings are the biggest, baddest tag team in this company.

Thunderbolt Smith (v/o): A newly married ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin returned and had some thoughts about the Women’s Division.

Tessa is answering Kirsten Canfield’s question.

Tessa Martin: It’s stacked. Lisa at the top. I don’t know what Christa’s future plans are but there’s still Sheline Carrigan, Yosemite Samantha is back from injury, and the new girl Shizuko Yamazaki who looks really promising. I will have my work cut out for me, that’s for sure.

Thunderbolt Smith (v/o):  Tessa would go on to defeat ‘By the Book’ Tiana Walker with the Pizza Cutter.

Tess spins Walker around. Boot to the gut. Tess spins around, grabs Tiana by the back of the neck, and sits out.

Thunderbolt Smith: PIZZA CUTTER!

Tiana bounces up when she hits the mat and lands face down. Tess rolls her over and hooks a leg.

One…

Two…

THREE! Martin calls for the bell.

Thunderbolt Smith (v/o): Then ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson announced his re-emergence into the MVW Title scene.

Average Joe goes for another Average Slam. Dickinson counters and hits the powerslam.

Thunderbolt Smith: Dickinson used his strength to fight out of the Average Slam.

Rick Hall: This could be it for Average Joe after a nasty powerslam by Dickinson.

Dickinson pulls Average Joe up by the hair. Puts his head between his legs. Lift…SLAM!

Thunderbolt Smith: And there’s the power bomb!

Dickinson covers.

One…

Two…

THREE…Keels calls for the bell.

Sunday Night Wrestling
Sunday July 14th, 2019
Taped at MVW Television Studios
St. Louis, Missouri

Announcers: Thunderbolt Smith and ‘Long Haul’ Rick Hall
Backstage Interviewer: Kirsten Canfield

===============================

Thunderbolt Smith and Rick Hall start the show behind the official MVW broadcast desk at ringside with the three hundred people inside the MVW Television Studios cheering in the background.

Thunderbolt Smith: Good evening everyone. This is Missouri Valley Wrestling bringing minor league wrestling to the American Heartland! Welcome to another edition of Sunday Night Wrestling. Thunderbolt Smith with you here for another big night of wrestling action along with my broadcast consigliore ‘Long Haul’ Rick Hall.

Rick Hall: Hey everyone.

Thunderbolt Smith: We have another big show for you tonight. On the card tonight, we’ve got the MVW champion himself- Charlie Blackwell in singles action along with the Women’s Champion Lisa Barbosa-Stevens. She will also be wrestling on our show.

Rick Hall: Charlie is coming off a good win at American Heartland over William Daniels Bryan to continue his title run.

Thunderbolt Smith: Also in action this week, “The roughest, toughest, rootinest, shootinest cowgirl who ever crossed the Rio Grande” Yosemite Samantha returns to the ring and you know she’s going to be looking for the brand new Women’s Champion Lisa Barbosa-Stevens.

Rick Hall: You’ve got that right. It’s a lead pipe cinch that Yosemite Samantha is going to try to scratch and claw her way back to a title shot against Barbosa-Stevens by any means necessary.

Thunderbolt Smith: She is backstage right now with Kirsten Canfield. Kirsten?

BACKSTAGE
Indeed, Yosemite Samantha is standing with Kirsten.

Kirsten Canfield: Tonight is your first televised match back after your injury. How do you feel?

Yosemite Samantha: I ain’t going to feel a thing Kirsten until I get that women’s title belt wrapped around my waist here. I’m back and tonight I aim to prove I’m still the roughest, toughest, rootinest, shootinest cowgirl who ever crossed the Rio Grande.

Kirsten Canfield: As you know, the woman who’s partially responsible for putting you on the shelf for a few weeks- Christa Carmondy- is no longer the women’s champion-

Yosemite Samantha: Doesn’t matter who’s the champ. I’ve been kickin’ around for the independents for over ten years now. If I’m given the opportunity, I guaran-damn-tee you I will not let it slip through my fingers. But that don’t mean I’ve forgotten what the Hanson Sisters and Christa did to me. Ladies, your day of reckoning is coming and it’s coming like a cannonball.

She leans forward towards the camera lens.

Yosemite Samantha: And I mean- soon.

Yosemite Samantha exits.

Kirsten Canfield: Back to you Thunderbolt.

Thunderbolt Smith: Our main event tonight will be the Kings of Old School: Bobby Ricky Michaels and Marty Gibson-Lane with Jackson C. Horne in their corner taking on the lunch pail, punch the clock, working class Truckin’ Average Company: Ken Worth-American Trucker and Brad Company.

Rick Hall: This will be the Kings of Old School’s first television match and they are taking on two hard working, hungry wrestlers looking to make a change in their fortunes and get back into title contention in Worth and Company.

Thunderbolt Smith: We will also hear from the former MVW Women’s champion Christa Carmondy in her first MVW appearance since losing the title. The Southern Boys talk about their split from the SEC. And the Tag Team Champion Corporate World, Inc. will be here tonight.

Rick Hall: It will be interesting to hear what Christa has to say following her loss to Lisa Barbosa-Stevens.

Thunderbolt Smith: We’ll have all that and more tonight on Sunday Night Wrestling. Our first match of the night is coming up right after these commercial messages.

MISSOURI VALLEY WRESTLING

BRINGING MINOR LEAGUE WRESTLING TO THE AMERICAN HEARTLAND!

Thunderbolt Smith: Right to the ring and our ring announcer Kimber Marshall.

MATCH ONE-Yosemite Samantha vs. Laney Harrison
Kimber announces Laney Harrison- who’s already in the ring and waiting.

Kimber Marshall: And her opponent…

“Moth to a Flame”- Metallica

Kimber Marshall: From Dodge City, Kansas! She is the roughest, toughest, rootinest, shootinest cowgirl who ever crossed the Rio Grande! Please welcome…YOOOOO-SIMMM-MIT-TEEEEEEEE…SAMANTHA!

Yosemite Samantha, sporting a big ten gallon cowboy hat and a holster complete with gun, walks out onto the stage and gives the audience the ol’ stinkeye.

Yosemite Samantha “The roughest, toughest, rootinest, shootinest cowgirl who ever crossed the Rio Grande”
AGE: 30 / HT: 5’1″ WT: 105 / HOME: Dodge City, KS

ALIGN: 55% Heel / STYLE: Brawler-Hardcore / FIN: Shotgun Knee/Cannonball Combo

With an intense look on her face, Yosemite Samantha marches down to the ring.

Thunderbolt Smith: Well. Here she comes.

She leaps onto the ring apron and takes aim at her opponent

Rick Hall: You know she’s got about two months worth of pent-up frustration she’s just itching to get out of her system.

Samantha removes her cowboy hat and gun holster and leaves them in the corner.]

Thunderbolt Smith: I don’t think that will actually happen until she gets her hands on the Hanson Sisters and Christa Carmondy.

Rick Hall: Which will happen soon enough. In the meantime, I don’t think I want to be in Laney Harrison’s shoes.

Thunderbolt Smith: Referee Corrina Romanov is ready and there’s the bell.

*DING-DING*

Harrison comes out cautiously. Yosemite Samantha dispenses of all pretense. She races to the middle of the ring and stuns Harrison with a knee lift.

Thunderbolt Smith: Annnnnd here we go.

Harrison driven back to the corner under a hail of left and rights. Now boots to the stomach over and over and over and over again. Harrison bent over. Yosemite Samantha steps back. *WHAM*

Thunderbolt Smith: WOW!

Rick Hall: Front kick by Yosemite Samantha snapped Harrison’s head back and she is out on her feet.

Well, not the feet. Harrison slides down to a sitting position in the corner.   Yosemite Samantha takes off running around the edge of the ring.

Thunderbolt Smith: Here she comes…again.

Running full speed, Yosemite Samantha launches herself at Harrison. She curls up into a ball and crushes Harrison against the turnbuckle.

Rick Hall: Harrison took the full brunt of that. She’s out.

Dazed, Harrison lists to the right. Yosemite Samantha grabs her legs and forcibly drags her to the middle of the ring. Cover.

One…

Two…

THREE- Romanov calls for the bell.

*DING-DING-DING*

Kimber Marshall: Your winner at one minute and forty-eight seconds…YOSEMITE SAMANTHA!

Referee Romanov attempts to raise Yosemite Samantha’s hand- YS pulls her hand away, gathers her stuff, and goes right to the back.

Thunderbolt Smith: That was quick.

Rick Hall: Revenge is a dish best served cold. She just left her calling card in the ring. If I’m the Hanson Sisters or Christa Carmondy, I think I’d stay as far away from Yosemite Samantha as possible.

Thunderbolt Smith: Yosemite Samantha is back. Will she be at MVWA 92? We’ll find out soon enough.

BACKSTAGE-MVW CEO Jill Berg’s Office
Jill is busy on the phone. She’s trying to get as many thing wrapped up before she leaves at the end of the month to make sure Missouri Valley Wrestling continues to move forward after she steps down.

There’s a knock on the door.

Jill Berg (on the phone): Okay. I have to go. We’ll talk soon.

Jill ends the call.

Jill Berg (calls out): ENTER!

The door opens up. It’s Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann.

Jill Berg: McMann. I wondered when I’d hear from you. Come in.

McMann does and takes a seat in a chair in front of Jill’s desk.

Jill Berg: I presume you’re here about a certain position that I’m vacating.

Mr. McMann: Jill. We’ve known each other a long time so let’s not dance around it. Yes.

Jill smiles.

Jill Berg: Go on.

Mr. McMann: Now that CSPN (Corporate Sports-entertainment Programming Nation) Mark Splitter cut the SEC off and our wrestlers have left, I have a little more time on my hands.

McMann pauses.

Mr. McMann: Okay. A lot more time on my hands. You need an experienced hand at the rudder of this ship. You need someone who’s been in the trenches. Someone with business sense. Someone like-

Jill Berg (interrupts): You.

McMann does the fake humility thing.

Mr. McMann: Yeah me.

Jill Berg: Gotcha.

Jill stands and walks around her desk and sits down on the edge of the desk in front of McMann. She crosses her legs.

Jill Berg: Well, Mr. McMann. I can tell you this. I will not be the one making the final decision on my replacement.   But I can tell you that your name is in consideration.

McMann nods in acknowledgement.

Jill Berg: For the record. You would make a great CEO. If- and I do mean IF – you could control your tendency to put sports entertainment over at every turn. So when you do interview them, I would keep that in consideration. Capuche?

Again, McMann nods.

Cut back to the broadcast desk.

Thunderbolt Smith: Interesting.

Rick Hall: Could Mr. McMann suppress his basic sports entertainment instincts for the greater good of Missouri Valley Wrestling?

Thunderbolt Smith: I don’t know man. I just don’t know. Let’s to the ring for our second match.

MATCH TWO/NON-TITLE- Missouri Valley Wrestling Champion Charlie Blackwell vs. The Couch Potato
Kimber Marshall’s ready to go.

Kimber Marshall: Ladies and gentlemen. Our next match is a one fall-

Crowd: ONE fall!

Kimber Marshall: with a fifteen minute time limit. Introducing first-

The big guy. The Couch Potato.   He waddles out to the stage holding a bowl of popcorn and a remote control in his hands.

Kimber Marshall: -weighing in at three hundred and six pounds. Hailing from Michigan City, Indiana.

FEED HIM MORE! FEED HIM MORE!

Kimber Marshall: The Couch Potato!

A stream of Hostess Twinkies fly into the ring. Couch Potato pounces and scoops up every last one he can get his hands on.

FEED HIM MORE! FEED HIM MORE!

Kimber Marshall: …weighing in at three hundred and five pounds…from Michigan City, Indiana…he is the BIGGGGGG HUNNNN-GRY…COUCH POTATO!

The audience applauds as the three hundred pound plus Couch Potato ambles down to the ring.

Thunderbolt Smith: Couch Potato making his way to the ring.

The MVW fans throw their semi-traditional shower of Twinkies into the ring- like the Ring of Honor tradition of throwing streamers into the ring before a match.

BLACKWELL v. COUCH POTATO JOINED IN PROCESS
Blackwell moves Couch Potato out of the corner and clotheslines him to the floor.

Thunderbolt Smith: Well, thankfully he’s got a lot of padding for the landing.

Rick Hall: I’m just impressed Blackwell managed to get him up and over.

Referee Ron Martin starts a ten count.

Close up on Couch Potato. He straightens his glasses and reaches for a Twinkie. CP grabs said Twinkie and eats it.

Martin up to five.

Couch Potato suddenly perks up.

Thunderbolt Smith: He seems to be rejuvenated!

Rick Hall: It was nothing a mid-match snack couldn’t take care of.

The Big Hungry beats the ten count. But Blackwell cuts him off with a slingshot spear.

Thunderbolt Smith: And that didn’t take long.

Blackwell lands a couple elbows. Couch Potato staggers back. Blackwell takes a front waistlock. Lift. Slam.

Thunderbolt Smith: SPINEBUSTER!

Rick Hall: It shows just how much stronger Blackwell has become over the past few years.

Blackwell heads up top.   He raises his arms and leaps. Big splash and cover.

One…

Two…Couch Potato kicks out.

Thunderbolt Smith: Just made it.

Rick Hall: Couch Potato somehows kicks out.

Blackwell leaps over and slides down behind him and slaps on a half nelson. Forearm across Couch Potato’s throat. Blackwell wraps his legs around Couch Potato’s ample torso and leans back.

Couch Potato flails about but Blackwell cinches the submission hold even tighter.

Finally, Couch Potato taps. Martin calls for the bell.

*DING-DING-DING*

Thunderbolt Smith: And Charlie Blackwell gets the win.

Kimber Marshall in the ring.

Kimber Marshall: Your winner at five minutes and twenty-one seconds- CHARLIE! BLAAAAAACK-WELL!

Thunderbolt Smith: Charlie Blackwell will be heading to MVWA 92 as the MVW champion. Who will be his opponent? This could be the one.

BACKSTAGE
Kirsten Canfield is with the Southern Boys. ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson. ‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller. ‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams.

She talks with Dickinson first.

Kirsten Canfield: Bill, you’ve split from the SEC. What’s the new plan for the Southern Boys going forward?

Bill Dickinson: Kirsten? There ain’t no plan. I want Charlie Blackwell’s MVW title. Dave and Dan’s all over the Tag Team title. We don’t need a ‘plan.’ We just need to kick some ass and take what’s ours.

Kirsten turns to Dave and Dan.

Kirsten Canfield: Last week, the legendary Kings of Old School arrived on scene at Missouri Valley Wrestling and tonight they face Truckin’ Average Company in our main event. Do you see them as threats to you getting back to the tag belts?

Dave Miller: Kirsten. We’re the threats. We don’t care where the Kings of Old School came from. The Southern Boys’s destiny is to take back the tag belts from those elitist snobs Corporate World, Inc. and we will steamroll anyone and everyone-

Dan Williams: And that includes ‘legendary tag teams.’

Dave Miller: Damn right. Nothing and no one ain’t going to get in our way. Those tag belts are coming back to the Southern Boys.

And with that, they exit.

Kirsten Canfield: Back to you Thunderbolt.

Cut back to the broadcast desk.

Thunderbolt Smith: Ooooh. The Southern Boys versus the Kings of Old School. That would truly be an old school donnybrook.

Rick Hall: They’re on a collision course, Thunderbolt. It’s probably going to happen soon.

Thunderbolt Smith: Okay. We are going to get a look at the new Women’s champion next. Lisa Barbosa-Stevens is in action and Kimber Marshall is ready to announce her opponent. Kimber?

MATCH THREE/NON-TITLE-Women’s Champion Lisa Barbosa-Stevens vs. ‘By the Book’ Tiana Walker
Kimber announces Walker who’s already in the ring and chirping up a storm about the ‘rules’ to referee Corrina Romanov.

Kimber Marshall: And her opponent…

“What Have You Done Now?” – Within Temptation

The Stevens Dynasty: George and Bo Stevens walk out first followed by Ted Tebow.

Kimber Marshall: From Houston, Texas.

Lisa Barbosa-Stevens comes out to the stage holding up her women’s title belt and joins Tebow and the two Stevens men.

Kimber Marshall: She is the Missouri Valley Wrestling Women’s champion- LISA. BARBOSA-STEVENS!

Barbosa-Stevens raises her arms and receives a rousing ovation.

Lisa Barbosa-Stevens

BODYGUARDS: The Stevens Dynasty-Bo and George Stevens

As the Women’s champion and her entourage make their way to the ring, Walker has corner referee Romanov and repeated points to something in the official Missouri Valley Wrestling rule book.

Thunderbolt Smith: Walker did this last week with poor results.

And like last week, the referee’s patience is exhausted. Romanov calls for the bell.

*DING-DING*

Thunderbolt Smith: We are finally under way.

Walker continues her debate with the referee. She vigorously argues a point in the rulebook.

Rick Hall: Tiana Walker just won’t give up.

Lisa just walks over to Tiana- still chirping to the referee.  She taps her on the shoulder. Tiana ignores her. Lisa taps her again. Tiana still doesn’t respond. Lisa taps her a third time. Without turning her head away from Referee Romanov, Tiana shoves Lisa’s hand away.

Thunderbolt Smith: This isn’t going to end well.

Rick Hall: Nope. It’s just a matter of-

Barbosa-Stevens spins Walker around. Boot to the gut. Tess spins around, grabs Tiana by the back of the neck, and sits out.

Thunderbolt Smith: TOXIC STING!

Tiana bounces up when she hits the mat and lands face down. Lisa rolls her over and hooks a leg.

One…

Two…

THREE! Martin calls for the bell.

*DING-DING-DING* Kimber Marshall heads for the ring.

Kimber Marshall: Your winner at one minute and twenty-nine seconds. LISA! BARBOSA! STEEEEE-VENS!

Tebow hands the Women’s title belt back to Lisa. She raises it over her head.

Thunderbolt Smith: Easy win tonight for the Missouri Valley Wrestling Women’s champion. The former women’s champion Christa Carmondy will be out next- right after these commercial messages.

MISSOURI VALLEY WRESTLING

BRINGING MINOR LEAGUE WRESTLING TO THE AMERICAN HEARTLAND!

**************************

CHRISTA SPEAKS
Christa Carmondy stands on stage, flanked by The Hanson Sisters. The Hansons are all wearing matching Charlestown Chiefs hockey sweaters and hold up hockey sticks.

Christa Carmondy: Well. All good things must come to an end. I had a nice thirteen month run at the top. I knew Lisa Barbosa-Stevens was a worthy opponent and I hold no ill-will or animosity towards her. Remember, I had defeated her in 2018 to win the belt. So, now. The question is: where does Christa Carmondy go from here? Does she cash on a one year plus title run and milk it for all its worth? Or does she look for a new mountain to climb.

Christa pauses briefly.

Christa Carmondy: Well, I didn’t come here to just cash a paycheck. I am one of the best women wrestlers in Missouri Valley Wrestling and now that I no longer am the women’s champion, I have a point to prove. I know the women’s division is loaded now with talent from top to bottom. But, when I get a singleminded urge to prove myself and make a point, I can be a very formidable opponent. Don’t count me out quite yet.

Christa drops the mic and exits. The Hansons follow.

Cut back to the broadcast desk.

Rick Hall: She’s not wrong.

Thunderbolt Smith: I think Christa’s legacy overall is pretty secure. It’s time to go to the ring for our main event.

MAIN EVENT-The Kings of Old School vs. Truckin’ Average Company
Kimber Marshall stands at the ready.

Kimber Marshall: It’s now time for our MAIN…EVENT!

She pauses for the requisite cheers and applause.

Kimber Marshall: Introducing first, accompanied by Tequila Sheila…

Valet/Manager Tequila Sheila comes out first to her theme music.

‘Tequila Sheila’- Bobby Bare

‘Pour me another…tequila…

Sheila twirls around as the crowd shouts out: ‘SHEILA!”

Kimber Marshall: Weighing in at a combined four hundred and fifty pounds.

Average Joe, Brad Company and Ken Worth-American Trucker appear next.

Kimber Marshall: Ken Worth-American Trucker. Brad Company. They are…TRUCKIN’ AVERAGE COMPANY!

All three men shake hands and follow Tequila Sheila as she dances down to the ring.

Kimber Marshall: And their opponents…

Legendary manager Jackson C. Horne comes out first holding up his golden cornet.

Horne holds the musical instrument for everyone to see while he heads down to the ring. He slides into the ring and goes right up to Kimber.

He asks for the microphone. She obliges.

Jackson C. Horne: Ladies and gentlemen! My name is Jackson C. Horne. I am proud to introduce to you the world’s greatest tag team- please welcome- BOBBY RICKY MICHAELS. MARTY GIBSON-LANE. The KINGS OF OLD SCHOOL!

Kings of Old School

Michaels and Gibson-Lane run out. They race down the aisle towards the ring.

Horne hands the microphone back to Kimber and follows his charges to the ring.

Thunderbolt Smith: Well. This will be the first big test for the Kings of Old School in Missouri Valley Wrestling.

Rick Hall: And it’s a big opportunity for Truckin’ Average Company to pick off a big time team and get themselves in title contention.

Referee Davey Keels does the usual pre-match check.

Satisfied, Keels calls for the bell.

*DING-DING*

Thunderbolt Smith: We are under way!

Worth and Gibson-Lane start. Gibson-Lane throws Worth around as if he weighs a hundred and fifty pounds. Michaels tags in. Company tags in. Company hits a sudden dropkicks. Then another. And a third. Cover.

One…

Two-Michaels kicks out and scoots back to his corner.

Gibson-Lane tags back in. He fights Company off in the corner. Company goes for a scoop slam. Gibson-Lane blocks and nearly breaks Company back apron.

Thunderbolt Smith: Yow!

Rick Hall: That is the hardest part of the ring Thunderbolt. He don’t feel too good when you land like that.

Company gets stomped down in the corner by Michaels and Gibson-Lane.    Keels starts a five count and reaches four-point-nine before the Kings let up. Worth makes a half-hearted attempt to stick his hand out for a possible tag. Michaels and Gibson-Lane both run the ropes. Double team dropkick sends Worth flying off the ring apron.

Thunderbolt Smith: Michaels and Gibson-Lane don’t miss very many details, do they?

Rick Hall: Nope.

Michaels goes top rope. Swanton! Hooks the leg.

One…

Two…NO! Worth kicks out late.

Worth tries to get to his corner but Michaels and Gibson-Lane won’t allow it.   Whip to the ropes. Double team knee lift and Worth does a complete flip in the air.

Thunderbolt Smith: When the Kings of Old School are at their best. They will doubleteam you to the end.

Michaels covers again.

One…

Two…

Kick out by Worth.

Thunderbolt Smith: Another pin attempt by the Kings.

Rick Hall: HEADS UP!

Shooting star by Company! He hooks Michaels.

One…

Tw-easy kick out by Bobby Ricky Michaels.

Michaels rolls to his corner and tags in Gibson-Lane.

Company rushes forward and goes for the Company Line. Gibson-Lane drops down and takes out Company’s legs from under him. Gibson-Lane to the middle rope. Leap. High Crossbody.

Cover.

One…

Two…NO! Company kicks out.

Thunderbolt Smith: Fast paced action in this match.

Rick Hall: Both teams are working fast and efficient.

Company tags in Ken Worth. Worth goes after Gibson-Lane. But Michaels levels Brad Company with a superkick. Gibson-Lane tries to choke slam Worth, but Tequila Sheila interjects herself and tries makes the save by jumping in between.

No. Not the best idea.

Gibson-Lane and Michaels squash Sheila in between them. Then they put Tequila Sheila on the announce table. Next Michaels heads up top.

Thunderbolt Smith: They aren’t.

Rick Hall: Oh yes they are.

Michaels leaps and hits a flying elbow sending Sheila through the announce table.

Rick Hall: And yes they did.

Gibson-Lane drags Worth back into the ring, position him in the corner, and wedge a garbage can in front of him.  Gibson-Lane launches himself and *WHAM!* takes out Worth in the corner.

Thunderbolt Smith: Not bad for a forty-plus year old man.

Rick Hall: Great hang time and air time and Worth is in big trouble now.

Thunderbolt Smith: The Kings of Old School have seized the momentum in the match.

Michaels pulls Worth up. Set. King’s Landing.

Thunderbolt Smith: THAT’S THE FINISHER!

Gibson-Lane veers off and looks for Company like a heat-seeking missile looking for its target. He finds hit and spears Company off the apron to the floor.

Michaels covers.

One…

Two…

THREE! Keels calls for the bell.

*DING-DING-DING*

Kimber Marshall: Your winner at eight minutes and forty-six seconds (edited to five minutes and fourteen seconds for television)- The KINGS OF OLD SCHOOL!

Horne raises his golden cornet. Michaels and Gibson-Lane high five.

Thunderbolt Smith: Good win for the Kings of Old School tonight. They take another step forward in the tag team rankings.

Cut to the stage. The Southern Boys: ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson, ‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller, and ‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams stand with arms folded and watch.
