Thunderbolt Smith
‘Long Haul’ Rick Hall

Thunderbolt Smith and Rick Hall stand in the middle of the ring in Amarillo, Texas.

Thunderbolt Smith: Good evening everyone. Thunderbolt Smith with you here at the Amarillo Civic Center for a big night of wrestling. With me as always is ‘Long Haul’ Rick Hall.

Rick Hall: Hey everyone.

Thunderbolt says as promised, Missouri Valley Wrestling is bringing three number one contender’s matches to the fans tonight. He runs down the card:

MVW Tag Team #1 Contender’s Match:
Corporate World Inc.: Kirk Walstreit and P.M.C. Banks vs. The Deplorables: Rah and ‘Red Solo Cup’ Ray McAvay

MVW Women’s #1 Contender’s Match:
‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot vs. ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan vs. Lisa Barbosa-Stevens

MVW Title #1 Contender’s Match:
‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson of the SEC vs. William Daniels Bryan of the Deplorables

Rick Hall: Three big matches right here from the Amarillo Civic Center. Kirk Walstreit and P.M.C. Banks have been given new life by the ‘King of Greed’ Gordon Guyko and his lovely assistant Melissa. But former tag team champions ‘Red Solo Cup’ Ray McAvay and Rah want another shot at regaining the belts from the new champions the SEC.

Thunderbolt asks him about the women’s match.

Rick Hall: The Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot has been so close before only to be denied at the close. But she’s up against it against the Canadian Cyborg, Sheline Carrigan. Carrigan has Coach E.J. Flack in her corner now and trying to scratch and claw her way back to the top. And then there’s Lisa Barbosa-Stevens. Barbosa-Stevens has struggled a bit since her return. But now she’s added family in Bo and George Stevens to watch her six and she’s zeroed in on her task- winning back the women’s title.

And then the main event.

Rick Hall: Overused cliché but here we go. Classic clash of styles. Dickinson- all-out brawler. Bryan is one of the best technical wrestlers in Missouri Valley Wrestling. Dickinson has the SEC backing him up. Bryan has the Deplorables behind him. Dickinson wants the big title. Bryan wants to win back the title and get payback on Charlie Blackwell for him breaking his leg nine months ago. Someone’s going to leave the ring very disappointed.

Thunderbolt Smith: The big winners tonight will feature in the big matches next week at MVWA 90. Let’s this show under way.

MATCH #1- Corporate World Inc.-Kirk Walstreit and P.M.C. Banks vs. ‘Red Solo Cup’ Ray McAvay and Rah-The Sunshine God
Kimber Marshall is in the ring and ready to go.

Kimber Marshall: Our next match is a one fall…

Crowd: ONE fall.

Kimber Marshall: …and is a number one contender’s match for the Missouri Valley Wrestling Tag Team Title. The winner will face MVW Tag Team Champions The Sports Entertainment Coalition next week at MVWA 90. Introducing first…

The ‘King of Greed’ Gordon Guyko and his Executive Assistant Melissa leads P.M.C. Banks and Kirk Walstreit out to the stage and down to the ring.

Once in the ring, Walstreit walks around holding up a velvet painting of ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit.

Kimber Marshall: And their opponents-

Kimber is interrupted by a man dressed in an expensive suit and bow-tie who’s just climbed into the ring.  He elbows her out of the way and gestures for Kimber to take a temporary powder because he’s the one who’s been given the honor and privilege of introducing a living deity.]

Announcer Guy: Hit it!

Over the loudspeaker, a buzzing synth sound blares and the announcer guy raises the microphone to his mouth.

Announcer Guy (in a voice not unlike Michael Buffer): Ladies and gentlemen. I present to you the almost universally-worshipped king of the sun gods of all creation. He commands the chariot that rode across the sky during the day. He is the great, fiery globe in the sky, a welcome, nurturing presence to honor the season. He is the inspiration for those who would throw virgins into the gaping maw of a volcano – perhaps an Icelandic volcano – even though such shenanigans haven’t been acceptable since the 1950s. And just for your reference, he is, for 33 years in a row, proven to be one of UC San Diego‘s most enduring traditions in the Sun God festival- an all-day music festival celebrated by more than 20,000 students, alumni and friends. But that’s not important.

He pauses and looks out at the crowd as the lights turn off.  A small spotlight illuminates the ramp where the BeachBronze Suntan Bikini Girls are standing.

The bikini girls pose on the ramp.  Then two large, hulking men carry out a golden sedan chair holding a six foot eight inch, two hundred and eighty pound man dressed in long flowing robes inside.

Announcer Guy: Either way, you should thank your lucky stars and kiss his royal ass for gracing you with his presence here tonight. I give to you…the reason the Earth doesn‘t float away in the vastness of space…the reason it’s eighty degrees outside and not minus four hundred and fifty-nine point six seven…and the reason Brian Wilson wrote all those great songs…ladies and gentlemen…bow down before the Sunshine God…

Rah’s friend and middle-aged folk singer Happy Mango follows strumming a guitar along with the omnipresent Bob Nye- Foot Fetish Guy.

The procession stops at the ring steps. Rah climbs out of his golden sedan chair and prepares to climb into the ring.

Kimber rips the microphone back from Rah’s announcer guy.

Looking down, Kimber is dismayed to see Bob Nye-Foot Fetish Guy hanging on to her leg.

Kimber Marshall: Really?

Do you hear the people sing? – Singing the song of angry men?

A spotlight illuminates a concourse. The camera pans over and zooms in.

‘Do You Hear the People Sing?’ – Les Miserables

Rah’s tag team partner ‘Red Solo Plastic Cup’ Ray McAvay walks out accompanied by his wife, and one half of the famed West Texas Adult Entertainment duo Dark and Stormy, Stacee (Dark) Perry. Paige ‘Stormy’ Reynolds also walks out. Bert the Janitor comes out fourth.

Also joining them, General DeBauchery- who looks like a bizarre combination of the AWA’s Colonel DeBeers and Lt. Aldo from Inglorious Basterds, sporting a black captain’s hat right out of World War II, smoking a cigar and grinning obnoxiously, Al Cahall- sporting six pack abs…oh…that’s a six pack in front of his abs.

McAvay starts down the steps. Dark and Stormy go next. Then Bert the Janitor, General DeBauchery, Cahall, Koteen, and what appears to be an endless stream of people from the special Deplorables section of the arena.

VALETS: West Texas Adult Entertainment Legends Dark and Stormy

McAvay arrives at the ring and the Deplorables fan out at ringside. Dark and Stormy also climb up to the ring apron and model the official MVW Ray McAvay “Show Up. Punch In. Shut Up. Get to Work” baseball jersey.

Thunderbolt Smith: Corporate World Inc. versus McAvay and Rah and the Deplorables. Winner gets the SEC at MVWA 90 for the MVW Tag Team Title. Ron Martin is the man in charge inside the ring and we are ready to go.

McAvay and Banks start out. Both men take their time and feel things out. Quick chain wrestling sequence takes place- Banks quick tags in Walstreit.

Walstreit and Banks work fast tags. McAvay hits a drop toehold and tries to ground Banks on the mat. Banks escapes. Melissa jumps onto the ring apron and tries to distract McAvay.

The crowd roars to life when McAvay teases and then actually tags Rah in. Rah cleans house in the ring and hits a sweet Solstice Kick (running boot) that sends Banks tumbling under the ropes and out of the ring. He feigns clotheslining Melissa the assistant but instead stops, grabs her by the face, and plants a huge Rah-like kiss on her. Crowd pops. Melissa rolls out of the ring coughing and sputtering.

As is usually the custom for Rah, he runs out of gas and tags McAvay back in. Walstreit and Banks continue to rotate in and out and keep fresh. McAvay and Banks trade hip tosses and standing switches as the pace begins to speed up. McAvay hits a waistlock slam. Banks hightails it to his corner and tags Walstreit back in.

McAvay’s valets and West Texas Adult Entertainment Legends Dark and Stormy hop up onto the ring apron and start doing their thing- much to the Deplorables delight. McAvay tags Rah back in. Walstreit messes up a DDT attempt and Rah nearly sends him through the mat with the ‘Eye of RAHHHHH!’ (Jackknife powerbomb). But it’s Melissa who distracts referee Ron Martin and allows Banks to sneak in and break up the pinfall.

Walstreit jumps off the second rope and folds his legs up as he grabs Rah and pulls him down with a Lungblower and knocks the wind out of the big man. Rah kicks out at two but now the CWI isolate the big man and go to work. McAvay climbs up on the turnbuckle and tries to reach out to Rah but Walstreit and Banks keep him away. Both Walstreit and Banks get near falls on Rah.

Thunderbolt Smith: Can Rah get to his partner and tag him in? We’ll find out after these messages.

Rah tries to power his way to the corner-Walstreit and Banks hang on for dear life. Finally, Rah reaches and hot tags McAvay in. McAvay heaves Banks through the ropes to the floor and goes to work on Walstreit.

Thunderbolt Smith: McAvay raining down right hands on Walstreit.

Walstreit wobbles and staggers back to the ropes. McAvay grabs Walstreit by the neck, pulls him out and spins around hitting a nice Neckbreaker! Ray again grabs him by the back of the neck and runs forward sending Walstreit face first to the mat.

Thunderbolt Smith: Shaken and stirred by McAvay.

McAvay hooks the leg.

Rick Hall: For the win!

The crowd rises as Martin makes the count.

Walstreit shoots the arm up at the last possible moment.   Martin holds up two fingers.

Thunderbolt Smith: That was close!

Stormy climbs up on the turnbuckle and hangs upside down over the top rope facing the ring. Her shirts starts to slide down and that gets referee Ron Martin’s attention.

And the crowd’s too. They begin to cheer.

McAvay stands and touches his nose. Bert the Janitor quickly tosses him the Big Bertha driver.

Thunderbolt Smith: Dark and Stormy are doing their thing and McAvay’s going for the win!

Rick Hall: Hold on Thunderbolt. The Tag Champions are here.

The camera cuts to the Sports Entertainment Coalition: ‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller and ‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams- MVW Tag Team Champions along with ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann and the SEC Mouthpiece Phil Finebaum. Over the loud in inside the Amarillo Civic Center, they start yelling towards McAvay.

Thunderbolt Smith: Do you think the SEC are still upset at McAvay over what happened at MVWA 89?

Rick Hall: They’re here with a plan, Thunderbolt.

That gets McAvay’s attention.   Banks sneaks back into the ring and hits the Bank Statement Overdraft (Standing Tornado DDT) on McAvay.

Walstreit immediately rolls McAvay up. Martin turns and makes the count.

Martin calls for the bell.

The crowd expresses their displeasure as Kimber Marshall rolls into the ring.

WINNER AND NEW #1 CONTENDERS: Corporate World, Inc. @ 11:17 (8:15 for television)

Thunderbolt Smith: Walstreit with the roll up pin and it’s Corporate World Inc. who will go on to face the SEC next week for the MVW Tag Team-

Rick Hall: They’re not going to wait til next week!

Miller and Williams attack Walstreit and Banks. Brief brawl between the two teams goes in favor of the SEC.

Miller lifts Banks in the air and hits the Southern Cross. He lays in the boots on Banks.

Williams locks in the Devil’s Triangle on Walstreit with the clear intent of choking him out.

Outside the ring, Gordon Guyko is screaming at the referee to stop this. Finally Melissa climbs into the ring, takes off one of her heels, and whaps Miller in the head.

Bad move.

Miller grabs her by the hair. Lift. Southern Cross.

Thunderbolt Smith: This is not the way the Sports Entertainment Genius Mr. McMann usually does his business.

Rick Hall: But, this is the way Miller and Williams- and Dickinson, too- does theirs. McMann’s had to make a few adjustments to his modus operandi since he’s brought these three on.

Thunderbolt Smith: Regardless, the Sports Entertainment Coalition is sending a clear message to the challengers.

Thunderbolt then sends it backstage.

MVW Backstage Interviewer Paige McGillicutty has William Daniels Bryan with him.

First question- WDB’s return from the broken leg.

Bryan responds that the rehab was tough and he got through it by imagining what he would do when he finally got his hands on MVW Champion Charlie Blackwell and the SEC.

William Daniels Bryan: Obviously, the fact that Blackwell split up with the SEC and the SEC has changed personnel since my injury has complicated my plans. But make no mistake Paige, I will get my payback on Charlie Blackwell and Mr. McMann for what they did to me.

Second question from Paige- getting a title shot when it looks like Bill Dickinson is blocking his way.

Bryan admits that he’s going to have to take care of Dickinson first before he can get to Blackwell.

William Daniels Bryan: I don’t care how big he is. I don’t care how rough and tough he thinks he is. He’s in my way and I am going to remove the big, fat obstacle and then go after Blackwell.

Last question- ‘The One Man Hollywood A-List’ Stone Chism and ‘Starz N. Stripes’ Kevin Scott.

Bryan’s response. He respects them. But he’s won every three way match against Chism and Scott at the house show and feels he deserves the next title shot from Blackwell.

William Daniels Bryan: My focus is on taking care of Bill Dickinson and then taking care of some long overdue business with Charlie Blackwell.

Cut back to Thunderbolt and Hall.

Thunderbolt Smith: That was William Daniels Bryan from last week’s show. Our main event tonight is going to be a battle between two extremely motivated men who want to be the MVW champion.

Rick Hall: Both Bryan and Dickinson want to get their hands on Charlie Blackwell but for different reasons. The winner of the match is going to be the one who’s able to wrestle their style. If WDB can use his technical expertise to negate Dickinson’s raw power, he’s going to win. If Dickinson can use brute force to overpower Bryan, he’s going to win.

Thunderbolt states it’s time for the second match of the night. He sends it to the ring and Kimber Marshall.

Paige McGillicutty is now live and in person with Kirk Walstreit, P.M.C. Banks, and the ‘King of Greed’ Gordon Guyko with his executive assistant Melissa.

Paige asks about the match tonight.

Walstreit holds up his velvet painting of ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit because he is the ‘Wall Street Market Analyst with the Man Crush on ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit.’

Banks says CWI deserved the win. The crowd disagrees and lets him know it. Banks smirks.

P.M.C. Banks: People on the lower level of the economic ladder can’t appreciate what we’re doing because they haven’t accomplished a single thing in their life. You people are happy with your hum-drum meaningless lives. Corporate World, Inc. is about achievers. Corporate World. Inc. is about the bottom line. We’re going to MVWA 90 and we’re going to bring back the Missouri Valley Wrestling Tag Team titles.

Guyko adds his two cents.

Gordon Guyko: Paige. Greed is good. Greed is really, really good. Walstreit and Banks aren’t satisfied with just getting to MVWA 90. No, their greed for gold is what drives them…it drives Corporate World, Inc. to be better than the rest. SEC? You will find out at MVWA 90 how much you wasted…you squandered…the talents of these two men when they walk out of the ring as the new Missouri Valley Wrestling Tag Team Champions.

With that, Guyko leads CWI towards their dressing room to celebrate a hard fought win.

Cut back to Thunderbolt and Hall.

Thunderbolt Smith: Let’s go back to the ring as we are ready for our next match.

MATCH #2-‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot vs. ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan vs. Lisa Barbosa-Stevens
Kimber raises the microphone to her mouth and begins.

Kimber Marshall: Our next match is a one fall…

Crowd: ONE fall!

Kimber Marshall: …three way elimination match and is a number one contender’s match for the Missouri Valley Wrestling Women’s Title. The winner will face MVW Women’s Champion Christa Carmondy of the SEC next week at MVWA 90. Introducing first…

*“Roll the Bones”- Rush*

Coach E.J. Flack walks out with ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan.

E.J. Flack: …forget about ‘rowing the boat,’ sometimes in life, you have to face the big monster thingy. Sometimes in life, you have to take on something that’s bigger than you even if its huge tusks can shred you to bits in seconds…even if its jagged teeth can tear through you like a hot knife through warm butter. Sometimes when you’re climbing life’s mountain and come up against insurmountable odds, you have to…

Flack points to the Garthok insignia on his jacket.

E.J. Flack: …‘Narfle the Garthok!’

E.J. Flack: That’s right. You have to Narfle the Garthok!   Why? Because a garthok eats an oar for a snack. He uses an oar as frickin’ toothpick. A garthok runs into a fight, not away. A garthok eats difficult conversations, and people, like fat people chew through a breakfast burrito at the local McDonald’s. I can promise you this, folks, I am here to bring this message- Sheline Carrigan will find a way to out-care everyone else, out-give everybody else, and out-how everybody else. Sheline Carrigan will somehow find a way to- NARFLE THE GARTHOK!

Thunderbolt Smith: By the way, congratulations to Bo, George, and Scott Stevens who just won Defiance Wrestling’s World’s Trio title at Brazen Presents: May Day last week.

Rick Hall: And Scott Stevens has made a few appearances here as well.

Tebow, Bo and George escort Barbosa-Stevens to the ring.

Thunderbolt Smith: Well?

Rick Hall: I think it will come down to Carrigan versus Barbosa-Stevens and in the end that’s a coin flip to me.

Thunderbolt Smith: Brent Payson is our referee and he’s ready to start the match.

Harlot comes out aggressive. Carrigan meets her they slug it out. Barbosa-Stevens picks her spots.

Carrigan hits spinebusters on both Harlot and Barbosa-Stevens. Barbosa-Stevens gets tossed by Carrigan and ends up on the floor close to Harlot’s White Trash Posse (Shayne and Jaxson). They make a move towards her but Barbosa-Stevens alertly moves away. However, Bo and George Stevens make a mental note to themselves.

Carrigan and Harlot continue their slugfest. Barbosa-Stevens finally gets into the fray. She fights off both women and hits a vertical suplex to Harlot. Barbosa-Stevens gets a close two count on Harlot. Again, the White Trash Posse eye Barbosa-Stevens. Again, Bo and George Stevens eye the White Trash Posse.

All Carrigan. With Coach E.J. Flack on the ring apron urging her on, Carrigan uses her arsenal of power moves to take control. She splats Barbosa-Stevens hard to the mat with a Tilt-a-whirl mat slam and nearly eliminates her. Carrigan then shoulder blocks Harlot and gets a two count.

Harlot finally slows down the Canadian Cyborg with a low blow. Barbosa-Stevens then catches Harlot with a lungblower and rolls her up close to the ropes. Payson makes the count but Jaxson and Shayne grab a hold of Barbosa-Stevens and pull her out of the ring- which ends up proving to be a huge tactical error on their part.

But first, Thunderbolt sends us away for a commercial break.

The crowd is on their feet and it’s complete pandemonium inside the Amarillo Civic Center

Thunderbolt Smith: All hell as broken loose. Why? While we were gone, this happened.

Shayne grab a hold of Barbosa-Stevens and pull her out of the ring to break up the count on Lani Harlot.

Bo and George Stevens go over to the White Trash Posse and destroy them. Bo BO-plexes Shayne to the floor. George pulls Jaxson up by his hair and belly to belly suplexes him on the floor.

The Stevens leave Shayne and Jaxson motionless on the floor.

…Harlot staggers towards Carrigan. She grabs her, puts Harlot’s head between her legs, jumps forward.

Thunderbolt Smith: CANADIAN DESTROYER!

Harlot’s done. Carrigan hooks the leg. Payson with the count.

ELIMINATED: ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot

Thunderbolt Smith: Lani Harlot is eliminated and we are down to Sheline Carrigan and Lisa Barbosa-Stevens…exactly what you thought, Rick.

Rick Hall: Yep. It’s now Carrigan versus Barbosa-Stevens. Sheline’s had the hot hand over Lisa since both returned to MVW. This is for everything now. Winner gets Christa Carmondy at MVWA 90.

Carrigan and Barbosa-Stevens both nod to each other.   And they go. Barbosa-Stevens steps up the pace. Carrigan methodically moves forward. Flack on the ring apron shouting more encouragement to his wrestler. Carrigan power move gets reversed by Barbosa-Stevens technical ability. Flash roll up by Barbosa-Stevens results in two count but Carrigan’s strength breaks the pinfall attempt.

Back and forth. Carrigan puts a little extra oomph into her body slams and puts the pressure on Barbosa-Stevens. Lisa counters with slick defensive maneuvers and tries to catch Carrigan in a possible submission hold. Another flash move by Barbosa-Stevens. She DDT’d Carrigan out of nowhere and went for the win. Again, Carrigan powers her way out.

Carrigan presses the action and Barbosa-Stevens keeps countering her at every turn. But Lisa slips up trying to hit a Satellite DDT and Carrigan slams her face first. Carrigan covers. Lisa somehow has the presence of mind to grab the bottom rope just as Brent Payson is about to get to three.

Payson waves off the pin. E.J. Flack jumps on the ring apron and starts yelling at the referee.

Thunderbolt Smith: E.J. Flack is giving Brent Payson what for. He thinks Payson should counted three.

Rick Hall: It was razor close, Thunderbolt. But yeah, I’ve never seen E.J. Flack this upset at a referee before.

Flack’s face turns red as he continues to heatedly debate the referee’s call. Carrigan is just standing in the ring.   Barbosa-Stevens is sitting up now and trying to catch her breath.

Bo and George Stevens run around the ring and head right for Flack.

Thunderbolt Smith: Oh oh.

Rick Hall: E.J. doesn’t see them coming.

Until the last second. Flack somehow senses danger. Turns his head and sees Bo and George bearing down on him.   Flack’s fight or flight impulse takes control and he runs for his life.   Flack sprints around the ring with Bo and George hot on his tail.

Barbosa-Stevens goes over to Carrigan. Grabs the back of her neck. Drop.

Thunderbolt Smith: Barbosa-Stevens hits the Toxic Sting!

Rick Hall: Whoa!

Lisa rolls Carrigan up. Payson makes the count.

Kimber Marshall steps into the ring to make the official pronouncement.

WINNER AND NEW #1 CONTENDER FOR THE WOMEN’S TITLE: Lisa Barbosa-Stevens at 15:01 (9:00 for television)

Thunderbolt Smith: Despite Sheline Carrigan’s best in-ring performance in some time, Lisa Barbosa-Stevens rises to the occasion and she now has a date with Christa Carmondy at MVWA 90.

Rick Hall: Thunderbolt, Barbosa-Stevens gutted this one out. She was patient. She bided her time. And it all paid off in the end-

Thunderbolt Smith: Hang on!

Again, the SEC decide to make their presence felt. Women’s Champion Christa Carmondy, flanked by the Hanson Sisters (Andrea, Charissa, and Melissa) climb into the ring. The four walk towards Barbosa-Stevens.

Thunderbolt Smith: This is going to be interesting.

Rick Hall: No it’s not. The Hanson Sisters are chaotic and like to fight. But they’re not stupid.

Bo and George Stevens have joined Lisa and flank her on both sides.

Thunderbolt Smith: Yeah, they’re not going to poke that bear.

But they will stare. As in staredown. Big time staredown.

Corporate Sports(entertainment) Programming Nation reporters Reese Anderson and Rebecca Morris introduce ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann, SEC Mouthpiece Phil Finebaum, and CSPN CEO Mark Splitter to the set.

McMann and Splitter walk out.

Anderson asks McMann about the challengers to the tag team and women’s title.

McMann dismisses both Corporate World Inc. and Lisa Barbosa-Stevens as ‘legitimate threats’ to the SEC.

Mr. McMann: Kirk Walstreit, P.M.C. Banks, and Lisa Barbosa-Stevens couldn’t cut it with the SEC.   The SEC is the gold standard in Missouri Valley Wrestling. Only the best of the best are invited into the SEC. Miller and Williams will tear Walstreit and Banks apart. Christa Carmondy’s high level of wrestling skill will elevate her past the extremely overrated Lisa Barbosa-Stevens.

Morris asks about the rebuild of the SEC.

Finebaum jumps in on that one.

Phil Finebaum: With all due respect Rebecca, the SEC does not rebuild. The SEC reloads. As Mr. McMann said, Walstreit, Banks, Barbosa-Stevens washed out of the SEC. They couldn’t make the grade. Miller, Williams, Carmondy, and ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson are major upgrades. The Hanson Sisters are major upgrades. The SEC is stronger than ever. My faction is better than your faction.

Finebaum pauses…

Phil Finebaum: And Jim Harbaugh still sucks.

CSPN CEO Mark Splitter chimes in.

Mark Splitter: CSPN is the worldwide corporate forerunner in sports entertainment. We partnered with the SEC because sports entertainment is in our DNA and Mr. McMann epitomizes sports entertainment. CSPN is pleased to see that the SEC has rebounded from their recent issues. Once ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson defeats Charlie Blackwell next week at MVWA 90, the SEC will regain their rightful place at the top of the MVW mountain. CSPN will be there to document it every step of the way and bring it to you, our fans.

Paige McGillicutty has Lisa Barbosa-Stevens with her. She’s flanked by Bo and George Stevens. Ted Tebow stands behind them.

Question one- the match.

Lisa says the goal all along was to get back to the title. Tonight, she feels she took a huge step forward.

Paige asks her about having Bo and George at ringside.

Paige McGillicutty: Is it a security blanket?

Lisa Barbosa-Stevens: Sure. I know that I can focus on one thing and one thing only- my opponent. I don’t have to worry about the White Trash Posse trying to interfere in the match. I don’t have to worry about what E.J. Flack is doing. I don’t have to worry about the Hanson Sisters flying in and attacking me. No. I can pay attention to what I need to pay attention to- my opponent. Christa Carmondy thinks she has an army to protect her. At MVWA 90, she’s going to find out the hard way that once the bell rings, it’s going to be me versus her and I don’t think she can win that fight.

Paige McGillicutty: Thank you Lisa.

Thunderbolt and Hall review the action earlier in the night at the Amarillo Civic Center.

-‘The New Age Cybertronic Criminally Insane Rogue Sentient Robot Wrestling Machine’ Ultratron-Five decimated Ashton Flowers in a grudge match. The maniacal Ultratron-Five hit not one, not two, but three Disintegrators (modified F-5) on Flowers and when Flowers’s manager Dawn McGill- who Ultratron-Five also has a huge issue with- knocked her out with a Disintegrator.

Ultratron-Five then scooped up McGill and left the ring.

-MVW Women’s Tag Team Title Match. In a wild match, Women’s Tag Team Champions The Missouri Valley Fight Club (Harley Davisson and Carrieanne McDermott) somehow made it back into the ring before the referee finished his 10 count- the challengers ‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris and ‘Former Hooters’s Waitress’ C.J. Lewis did not. The Champions retain their title.

-MVW Heartland Title Match. SNAFU’s three month reign as the Heartland champion came to an end at the hands of Jack Fraiser. Fraiser, with a little assist from his Oootlander Blaire Rendell, hit the Canadian National Railaway on SNAFU to win the Heartland Title.

Thunderbolt announces it’s ‘main event time’ and sends it right to Kimber Marshall.

MAIN EVENT: ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson vs. William Daniels Bryan
Kimber’s in the ring.

Kimber Marshall: Ladies and gentlemen, it’s now time for our main event!

The Amarillo fans stand and cheer.

Kimber Marshall: Our main event is a one fall…

Everyone in the Building: ONE fall…

Kimber Marshall: …and the winner will become the new, number one contender for the Missouri Valley Wrestling Title. Introducing first…

*”White Trash”- Chris Janson*

‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson slowly walks out. He cracks his knuckles and glares at the Amarillo fans.

‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson “The 330 Pound Southern Brawler”
AGE: 37 / HT: 6′ 1″  WT: 330 / HOME: Troy, AL
ALIGN: 55% Heel / STYLE: Brawler-Power / FIN: High Crossbody into a Powerbomb
MGR: ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann
MGR #2: ‘Mouthpiece of the SEC’ Phil Finebaum
SEC TEAMMATES: ‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller, ‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams
VALET: Andrea, Melissa, and Charissa Hanson aka…The Hanson Sisters

Dickinson’s facial expression remains unchanged as he marches down to the ring followed by the rest of the SEC. The Hanson Sisters have black paint under their eyes, wear matching old school Charlestown Chiefs hockey sweaters, and are armed and dangerous with a hockey stick.

Kimber Marshall: And his opponent…

Do you hear the people sing? – Singing the song of angry men?

A spotlight illuminates a concourse. The camera pans over and zooms in.

‘Do You Hear the People Sing?’ – Les Miserables

William Daniels Bryan stands up from his seat in the Deplorables section of the arena.

William Daniels Bryan
AGE: 35 / HT: 5’10″ WT: 180, HOME: Platte, Nebraska
STR: 6.0 DEX: 7.5 CHR: 5.5 WORK: 9.1 INT: 8.8 END: 9.5 (8.5-due to return frm injury)
ALIGH: 80% Face / STYLE: Technical-Scientific / FIN: Cattle Mutilation/Crane Kick
SUBGROUP: General DeBauchery, Al Cahall, Nic Koteen

Also joining him, General DeBauchery- who looks like a bizarre combination of the AWA’s Colonel DeBeers and Lt. Aldo from Inglorious Basterds, sporting a black captain’s hat right out of World War II, smoking a cigar and grinning obnoxiously, Al Cahall- sporting six pack abs…oh…that’s a six pack in front of his abs.

Bryan starts down the steps followed by General DeBauchery, Cahall, Koteen, and an endless stream of people from the special Deplorables section of the arena.

Thunderbolt Smith: Dickinson versus Bryan.

Rick Hall: The key to this match Thunderbolt is going to be how long does the match go? The longer the it goes; the more it’s going to favor William Daniels Bryan. Yes, Bill Dickinson is in remarkably good shape given his size. But if the match reaches the ten minute mark the chances Bryan wins goes up exponentially.

Thunderbolt Smith: Chick magnet Davey Keels is the man inside the ring.

Rick Hall: I’m sure Mr. McMann is not happy about that after what went down at MVWA 89 with Keels and Dawn McGill.

Thunderbolt Smith: We’re going to find out. Keels calls for the bell and we are underway.

Surprisingly, Dickinson does not charge forward. He methodically walks around the ring with his eyes right on Bryan. Bryan also sizes up his opponent.

Dickinson starts to turn up the heat. But when he wades in, Bryan hits a snap crane kick that drops Dickinson to his knees that pops the crowd big time. Bryan follows with a spinning heel kick that sends him to the mat. Bryan covers. Keels reaches two but Dickinson somehow gets his shoulder up.

Thunderbolt Smith: I have no idea how Dickinson go his shoulder up after that. He tried to cut the ring off and step forward. Bryan set himself and timed that kick perfectly. You could hear the contact being made all over the arena.

Rick Hall: Dickinson cannot disregard Bryan like that and think he can just walk right in like that without any danger to him. That Crane Kick nearly knocked him out cold.

Bryan gets a series of no falls as Dickinson tries to hang on. Mr. McMann drifts closer to the ring. Miller and Williams also step closer. Bryan tries for the Cattle Mutilation- Dickinson powers out and rolls under the ropes to gather himself.

After conferring with Miller and Williams, Dickinson takes his time climbing back into the ring- Keels speeds up the process by starting a ten count.

Thunderbolt Smith: Bill Dickinson is a brute but he’s not dumb. He knows he got caught badly with that Crane Kick and he’s milking the time for all it’s worth to shake out the cobwebs.

Rick Hall: And he’s not expending much energy either Thunderbolt. He’s going to be a lot fresher later on in the match than we thought he was going to.

Dickinson continues to plod forward. Bryan gets whipped into the ropes and Miller pops him one. Bryan turns around and answers with a right hand. Dickinson rolls him up and nearly gets the pinfall. General DeBauchery and the other Deplorables protest.

Thunderbolt Smith: You can feel the tension start to rise.

Rick Hall: The SEC is becoming more active in the match. You wonder if the Deplorables at ringside will do the same?

Bryan acrobatically arm drag’s Dickinson down. He goes for the pinfall but Dickinson propels him off. Bryan again comes forward. Dickinson’s waiting and Bryan eats a nasty Spinebuster as a result. But Dickinson’s slow on the cover and Bryan rolls out of danger.

Back and forth. Dickinson starting to tire- Bryan strings together moves. Snap DDT by Bryan and cover. Dickinson kicks out. Bryan ties Dickinson up and rolls him into a Guillotine Choke.

Rick Hall: Oh, that’s not good.

Thunderbolt Smith: WDB has taken control of this match. Dickinson is in big trouble.

The Hanson Sisters pull referee Davey Keels out of the ring and he lands hard on the floor.

Miller and Williams race in and break the hold. They lay the boots to Bryan.

That brings in McAvay and Rah. McAvay whacks Miller over the head with the Big Bertha Driver. Rah steamrolls Williams.

Dickinson rolls over Bryan. But no referee. Keels is just getting back to his feet from the Hanson Sisters’s assault. Frustrated, Dickinson slams his hand on the mat three times.

Keels climbs back in. Dickinson is furious and lets Keel have it. Behind him, Bryan back to his feet. He spins Dickinson around and in an instant the big guy is on the mat.

Thunderbolt Smith: CRANE KICK! Again, Bryan snapped it off out of nowhere.

Rick Hall: COVER!

Bryan hooks the legs and hangs on. Keels makes the count.

Thunderbolt Smith: HE’S DONE IT! William Daniels Bryan will get his shot at Charlie Blackwell at MVWA 90.

Bryan jumps up and let’s out a shout.

Rick Hall: Unbelievable! Dickinson took his eye off Bryan and he paid a stiff price.

Kimber Marshall starts to climb into the ring but all hell breaks loose. Miller and Williams race in and attack Bryan and start laying in the boots on him.

WINNER AND NEW #1 CONTENDER FOR THE MVW TITLE: William Daniels Bryan @ 13:15 (6:45 on television)

Thunderbolt Smith: And here we go.

The Hanson Sisters also hit the ring. Melissa whacks McAvay in the back with her hockey stick. McAvay falls to his knees. Melissa then swings and blasts him in the forehead with the stick. McAvay goes down and out.

Charissa and Andrea swing and low bridge Rah in the jewels with their sticks. That brings the big man down to his knees. Then they also whack him over the head and that takes care of Rah.

Miller and Williams start teeing off on Bryan who’s still down in the ring. Dickinson yells at Keels. Then he turns and pulls Bryan back up. Lift. Ring shaking powerbomb. Dickinson then calls for a chair. Miller rolls out and throws back a steel folding chair. Dickinson sticks Bryan’s leg in the chair- the same leg that was broken last year.

A huge roar erupts as the crowd suddenly stand.

Rick Hall: Hang on! Help is on the way.

Thunderbolt Smith: IT’S THE CHAMPION!

MVW Champion Charlie Blackwell and fellow Texas Stranger ‘Cowboy’ Dan Butler race down to the ring with steel chairs in hand. Slide into the ring…

Chairshot to Miller by Blackwell.

Chairshot to Williams by Butler.

Dickinson back up.

Chairshot to Dickinson by Blackwell.

Now the Hanson Sisters attack.

Chairshot to Andrea Hanson by Butler.

Chairshot to Charissa Hanson by Blackwell.

Chairshot to Melissa Hanson by Butler.

Then Blackwell bumps up against Bryan. Awkward moment.   Bryan realizes Blackwell just saved him from the SEC.

End of show.
