3/31/19-Missouri Valley Wrestling Presents: Sunday Night Wrestling

Announcer: Last week on Missouri Valley Wrestling’s Sunday Night Wrestling…

-Ashton Flowers with Dawn McGill visited Missouri Valley Wrestling and defeated Mr. Wrestling XXXIV in his own inimitable way.

REPLAY: Flowers vs. Mr. Wrestling XXXIV

Rick Hall: Flowers in control of the match. And then he starts dancing again…

Flowers dances again in the ring. Mr. Wrestling XXXIV fights back with body shots that end the premature celebration. McGill shouts at Flowers to focus or…’FOCUS DAMMIT!’ Flowers looks quizzically over at her. Mr. Wrestling XXXIV hoists Flowers into the air. Flowers slides out the back door. Flowers unloads a judo chop and flattens Mr. Wrestling XXXIV.

Thunderbolt Smith: It’s that Judo Chop again!

Rick Hall: This could be it!

The referee makes the count…One…Two…THREE.

Thunderbolt Smith: It is IT! Ashton Flowers wins again!

As the theme from ‘Austin Powers’ plays, McGill and Flowers dance in the ring.

-After finding out that the SEC took out the Hanson Sisters before Yosemite Samantha met Christa Carmondy for the Women’s title, Yosemite Samantha had a few choice words to say…

REPLAY: Yosemite Samantha Interview

Yosemite Samantha: Do you think I’m going to sit back and take this? Hell no! Do you think I’m going to sit back and let the Sports Entertainment Coalition get away with attacking me and costing me the Women’s title? Hell No! No more Ms. Nice Girl. The SEC brought the army in to prevent me from winning the title?

Andrea, Melissa, and Charissa Hanson aka…The Hanson Sisters…come out dressed in their retro Charlestown Chief hockey uniforms and armed with hockey sticks.

Yosemite Samantha: I’ve got an army of my own and I ain’t goin’ down without a fight. You want a fight. You got a fight! This is war!

-MVW CEO Jill Berg came out and announced Yosemite Samantha would get another chance to face Carmondy for the title at MVWA 89

-Lisa Barbosa-Stevens defeated Desiree Davis. Then she has a few choice words of her own.

REPLAY: Lisa Barbosa-Stevens

…Barbosa-Stevens then turns to the Yosemite Samantha saga. She admires her spunk. She admires her singleminded drive to go after what she wants. But it’s getting in Barbosa-Stevens’ way.

Lisa Barbosa-Stevens: Okay. She got screwed over in her match last week. It happens. This is pro wrestling. Nothing ever always goes to plan. Trust me. If anyone knows about that, it’s me.

-Before MVW Champion Charlie Blackwell wins his a non-title match against Willie Idol, he talks about his MVWA 89 match against ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson…

REPLAY: Charlie Blackwell

Blackwell has nothing but good things to say about Bill Dickinson. He says his Heartland title run was nothing short of phenomenal. Dickinson was a dominant champion who fought anyone and everyone.

Charlie Blackwell: But he hasn’t wrestled anyone like me. Bill can get away with his pure power game against less polished talent. But he won’t be able to get away with it with me. I know how to counter his power. I know how to use my skill and talent to negate his strength.

-The Sports Entertainment Coalition come out. ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann talks about the reconfigured SEC.

REPLAY: Mr. McMann

Mr. McMann: Tonight, a rougher and tougher Sports Entertainment Coalition lays the foundation down to return to the top. With Dan Williams and Dave Miller-

‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams: Dangerous’ Dan Williams.

Dastardly’ Dave Miller: ‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller.

Mr. McMann: …right, with these two men and ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson on board, with the addition of MVW Women’s Champion Christa Carmondy, the SEC is positioned smartly to bring back the prestige…and most importantly…more championship gold it richly deserves.

-Women’s Champion Christa Carmondy also sounds off about Yosemite Samantha.

REPLAY: Christa Carmondy

She tells Yosemite Samantha to stop whining. She’ll get another shot at the title. She’ll lose again.

Christa Carmondy: Jill Berg can book this match over and over until the end of time, Christa Carmondy is a better wrestler than Yosemite Samantha. The SEC is better than any other faction in this company and they will make sure the nipping poodles known as the Hanson Sisters don’t come near me during the match.

-The SEC then took care of business in the main event tag match against Weapons of Mass Destruction to earn a title shot at MVWA 89…

REPLAY: The SEC vs. Weapons of Mass Destruction

Referee Keels desperately tries to play traffic cop. Miller hits a sling blade on H-Bomb. H-Bomb runs the ropes. Miller ducks a lariat. He pushes H-Bomb towards the other side.

Dickinson potatoes H-Bomb with a steel folding chair.

Thunderbolt Smith: ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson snuck in and just walloped H-Bomb with the chair.

Williams slams A-Bomb into the ring post.

Miller gets H-Bomb to his feet and stands back to back. He lifts him up and bends over, slamming H-Bomb to the mat.

Thunderbolt Smith: SOUTHERN CROSS!

Rick Hall: The SEC’s going to win this!

Miller hooks the leg. Keels in for the count. One. Two. THREE!

Thunderbolt Smith
‘Long Haul’ Rick Hall

Thunderbolt Smith and ‘Long Haul’ Rick Hall welcome everyone to Missouri Valley Wrestling’s Sunday Night Wrestling.

Thunderbolt Smith: Last week, the Sports Entertainment Coalition made a big statement. The SEC defeated Weapons of Mass Destruction to become the new number one contender in the MVW Tag Team division and more so…earned a shot at the MVW Tag Team Champions Rah and ‘Red Solo Cup’ Ray McAvay at MVWA 89.

Rick Hall: A few weeks ago, the SEC was on life support. Now, they could leave MVWA 89 with all three big titles.

Thunderbolt Smith: That’s right. With the win by the SEC, the MVWA 89 card is all set.

MVWA 89 Card

Charlie Blackwell © with the Texas Strangers vs. ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson with the SEC

Christa Carmondy © with the SEC vs. Yosemite Samantha

Rah and ‘Red Solo Cup’ Ray McAvay © with the Les Miserables vs. The SEC: ‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller and ‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams

Thunderbolt Smith: So with the MVWA 89 dusted and settled, tonight we will be featuring title matches for the MVW Heartland title and the MVW Women’s Tag Team title- belts that are primarily fought for at the house shows.

Rick Hall: We’ve got two big matches featuring wrestlers we haven’t seen a lot of here. First, we will get our first look at Missouri Valley Wrestling Women’s Tag Team Champions- The Missouri Valley Fight Club. Harley Davisson and Carrieanne McDermott will defend their title tonight against former MVW Tag Team champions ‘Former Hooter’s Waitress’ C.J. Lewis and “Queen Cool” Leah Iris.

Thunderbolt Smith: And then in our main event tonight, Heartland Champion SNAFU and his manager Coach E.J. Flack takes on Average Joe for the title.

Rick Hall: SNAFU won the title by defeating Average Joe back in February after long time champion ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson vacated the title to chase the MVW title.

Thunderbolt Smith: And we will also hear from MVW Champion Charlie Blackwell, MVW Women’s Champion Christa Carmondy, MVW Tag Team Champions Rah and ‘Red Solo Cup’ Ray McAvay, ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson, Yosemite Samantha, and The SEC’s ‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller and ‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams tonight. We’ll be back after these messages.

Fred Sr.’s Burger Cash Cow Commercial

Announcer Guy: It’s a Fred Sr.’s Burger Cash Cow commercial and you know what that means.

[The spot starts as the valets of Missouri Valley Wrestling’s Ray McAvay, Dark and Stormy, wearing the official MVW/Ray McAvay ‘Show Up. Punch In. Shut Up. Get to Work.’ t-shirts (in white) and Daisy Duke Shorts, stand in his corner during a match.]

[High Octane Wrestling Hall of Fame announcers Joe Hoffman and Benny Newell sit at the broadcast table and are commentating on the match as both ladies pull out a Fred Sr’s half pound double decker Barbeque Bacon Burger loaded with every condiment you could imagine and begin to eat in a most sensuous stimulating way.]

Joe Hoffman: McAvay with the sidewalk slam.  What a move…right Benny?  Benny?

[Hoffman notices that Benny is otherwise occupied at the moment.]

Joe Hoffman: Benny?

[Why? Because Benny’s not watching the action inside the ring.  He’s watching the action outside the ring.  The house lights inside the Best Arena turn low and a spotlight shines on Stormy, her brown hair ruffling in the artificially produced wind- thanks to a huge off screen fan.  Stormy sees Benny staring at her and waves as she slowly, tantalizingly takes a huge bite from the Fred Sr’s half pound double decker Barbeque Bacon Burger sandwich.]

Benny Newell: It’s only a matter of time, Hoffhole.

Joe Hoffman: What?

Benny Newell: It’s only a matter of time until one of them spills barbeque sauce on their shirt and then we’ll have a real strip show here.

[As if on cue, Dark, her black hair also fluttering in the artificially created breeze, takes a huge bite of her sandwich and a massive glob of barbeque sauce slathered in between the buns slithers out and stains her pearly white t-shirt.]

Benny Newell: See?  I told you.

[Of course, Dark’s horrified at the development so she slips off her barbeque sauce stained t-shirt and reveals that she’s wearing a barbeque colored bikini top.]

Joe Hoffman: Well, the action seems to have shifted away from the ring.

[Ray McAvay and his unknown opponent have stopped wrestling and lean against the top rope to watch as Stormy takes a sizable bite of her Baconburger.  In a shocking development, a major glob of barbeque sauce spills onto her white t-shirt.]

Benny Newell: YES!  Thank you God!  Thank you!

[So Stormy also pulls off her barbeque stained white t-shirt off and- surprise, she too has a barbeque colored bikini top on.]

Benny Newell: Could this get any better?

[Bert the Janitor walks into the scene.  He picks up the two soiled white t-shirts and tosses them into his mop bucket.  He hands Dark a supersized bottle of barbeque sauce and then moves on. She slowly opens up the bottle and proceeds to pour it all over the burger, all over Stormy’s burger, and then ‘accidently’ spills it all over herself.]

Joe Hoffman: I don’t know Benny.  It sure looks like she did that on purpose-

Benny Newell: Shut up Hoffhole!  Accidents happen.  Now, what just happened in my pants, that was not an accident.

[Joe slowly turns his gaze towards Benny and shakes his head.]

[Being the helpful person she is, Stormy tries to clean up the massive mess her friend just made by licking the barbeque sauce off Dark’s chest- of which you can’t tell now if she’s wearing a bikini top or not.  In the process, the barbeque sauce ends up spilled all over her chest…and neck…and then her arms.]

Announcer Guy (v/o): Two for the price of one.

[Watching from the ring, McAvay’s eyes widen and he leans on the top rope to get a closer view.  Former HOW backstage announcer Blair Moise appears behind him.  She ‘Gibbs-slaps’ Ray in the back of the head.]

Ray McAvay (holding the back of his head): Ow!

Announcer Guy (v/o): Fred Sr’s half pound double decker Barbeque Bacon Burger …

[Dark begins to undo Stormy’s bikini top.]

Announcer Guy (v/o): Only at Fred Sr.’s Burger Cash Cow

[Fade to black.]

Benny Newell’s voice: AW, *BLEEP*-ING HELL!

Thunderbolt Smith: We are back. Let’s go backstage for this from the SEC.

At the Corporate Sports-entertaiment Programming Nation’s special SEC only set backstage, Reese Anderson and Rebecca Morris first bring out the challengers in next week’s MVW Tag Team Title match between the champions Rah and ‘Red Solo Cup’ Ray McAvay and the SEC’s ‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams and ‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller.

Williams and Miller come out with a…victory cake?

‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams: That’s right. We know that come hell or high water, the SEC is leaving the ring next week as the new MVW Tag Team champions.

‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller: It ain’t premature if it actually happens. We’re exhausted from training. We’ve put the time in. It’s going to be an open and shut thing. Make my words, we are the next MVW Tag Team champions.

Williams says they’ll take Rah and McAvay on now and save them the trouble of showing up at MVWA 89. Miller adds that Rah and McAvay are too chicken to show up here and-

And as if they were magically summoned, Rah and McAvay appear on the set.

Rah slams Williams face into the ‘victory’ cake.

McAvay McGill Bombs Miller off the set.

Regina McGill rips the microphone away from Rebecca Morris while McAvay shoulder blocks Anderson off the set.

Regina McGill: Well, the party seems to be winding down Rebecca. But it feels so good to be here tonight in Rochester, Minnesota!

McGill says the SEC will be formidable. But if they think Rah and McAvay are just going to hand their belts over to them at MVWA 89, they are dead wrong.

Regina McGill: We wouldn’t standing here today if we simply gave up at the first sight of adversity. We’ll see you next week. Take our titles…if you can.

McGill, Rah, and McAvay take off.

Cut back to Thunderbolt and Hall.

Thunderbolt Smith: The SEC have a ton of momentum on their side right now. But do not underestimate Rah and Ray McAvay.

Rick Hall: Absolutely not. Ray McAvay has made a career over being underestimated. He’s played the underdog role and parlayed that into championships. And Rah is in the best shape of his career.

Thunderbolt then talks briefly about the Women’s Tag Team division. Teams such as the Korver Sisters- former MVW Tag Team champions, new and upcoming teams such as Backman Taylor Powerdrive, and now the returning five time MVW Tag Team champions Angels of Death, the division is gearing up and putting on great shows all over the Midwest.

Hall says we’re in for a treat.

Thunderbolt sends it to the ring.

MATCH #1/MVW WOMEN’S TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Missouri Valley Fight Club (Carrieanne McDermott/Harley Davisson) © vs. ‘Former Hooter’s Waitress’ C.J. Lewis and ‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris
MVW Ring Announcer Kimber Marshall is in the middle of the ring and ready to go.

Kimber Marshall: Ladies and gentlemen! Our first match tonight is a one fall-

Crowd: ONE fall!

Kimber Marshall: …and it is for the Missouri Valley Wrestling Women’s Tag Team Title! Introducing first…

STR: 8.0 DEX: 5.8 CHR: 4.0 WORK: 9.2 INT: 5.8 END: 6.0
FIN: Kick Start

McDermott and Davisson walk down. When they get to ringside, McDermott goes after Iris and Davisson rushes at Lewis.

Thunderbolt Smith: And here we go.

McDermott and Iris exchange heavy blows on one side. Davisson cleans Lewis’s clock on the other side. The match quickly degenerates into an all-out free-for-all with no structure whatsoever.

Thunderbolt Smith: This is a brawl.

Rick Hall: Thunderbolt. This is a typical Missouri Valley Fight Club match. Two teams beating the living crap out of each other.

The MVFC appear to have the momentum on their side when they unceremoniously dump both Iris and Lewis out of the ring. Davisson and McDermott follow. Lewis falls prey to an Anaconda vice by McDermott outside the ring. Davisson lines Iris for her patented finishing move- “The Kick Stand.”

Thunderbolt Smith: They’ve got Iris set up.

But Iris escapes at the last second. She tries to play keep away long enough to figure out how to help Lewis who’s getting squeezed to death by McDermott. Iris walks right into a Davisson clothesline and falls on her back with a splat. Referee Davey Keels finally starts a count. Davisson back in the ring long enough to break the count and climb the top turnbuckle.   She leaps from the top of the turnbuckle and body splashes Iris on the floor.

Thunderbolt Smith: This is just a mauling.

Rick Hall: I think Davisson and Lewis are actually the legal women in the ring. But it hasn’t really mattered.

Referee Keels turns his attention to Lewis- who is the legal person for Iris and Lewis.   Keels tells McDermott to break the hold or he’ll disqualify the MVFC. This provokes McDermott to the point where she yells back at him. Davisson sneaks back into the ring unnoticed to break another count by Keels. McDermott finally complies with the referee and releases Lewis. Lewis can barely get into the ring and that prompts Iris to start jawing with Keels. She’s pissed off that McDermott had her partner stuck in the Anaconda Vice and to make matters worse, Iris has no clue McDermott swiped a steel folding chair from ringside. The crowd, sensing that Iris had no clue what was going on behind her, stood up as McDermott raises the chair in the air with two hands and blasts Iris over the head with the chair.

Crowd: HOLY @#$#! HOLY @#$#!

Iris stays on her feet for a couple seconds and then collapses off the ring apron to the floor.   Why didn’t the referee see that? He’s back watching Davisson who’s got Lewis all stretched out in an abdominal stretch. Keels asks her if she wants to give up. Lewis frantically shakes her head no.

Thunderbolt Smith: It is not looking good for the challengers.

Rick Hall: Thunderbolt, Davisson and McDermott have completely negated any offense from Iris and Lewis. The MVFC is doing anything it wants to do.

Thunderbolt throws it to a commercial break and promises the conclusion of the match when they return.

Thunderbolt says they are back. But nothing has really changed. McDermott in the ring now and she has Lewis stuck in an inverted surfboard and she’s really trying to put pressure on her back.

Rick Hall: Carrieanne McDermott is a MVW Original. She is a two time MVW Television champion and she has developed over the years into a fantastic submission wrestler.

Thunderbolt Smith: The question here is…how long can Lewis hold out. She’s been the legal person the whole match.

Keels counts for a cover- but it’s McDermott who let her shoulders touch the mat. One…McDermott gets the shoulder up but maintains the hold.

Iris has recovered and she’s trying to give encouragement to her partner. McDermott finally lets Lewis loose. She scrambles around her and slaps on a STF submission.

Thunderbolt Smith: Out of the frying pan and into the fryer.

Rick Hall: I don’t think there’s any chance C.J. Lewis survives this. McDermott is going to bend her into a pretzel until she finally gives up.

*”If You Want Blood (You Got It)”- AC/DC*

Thunderbolt Smith: WAIT A MINUTE!

Angels of Death

FIN: Angel Death Drop

Thunderbolt Smith: It’s the FIVE time MVW Tag Team Champions!

Casey and Scott hit the ring. McDermott releases the hold. Casey jumps up to the top turnbuckle and leaps at McDermott…scissors her head…and slams McDermott’s head forward impacting with the mat. Casey and Davisson meet on the floor and they start throwing bombs.

Keels immediately calls for the bell.

WINNER AND STILL MVW WOMEN’S TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: The Missouri Valley Fight Club @ 12:25 (8:25 for television)

The AoD and MVFC continue to brawl.

Rick Hall: What did you think?

Thunderbolt Smith: I think the Missouri Valley Fight Club have developed into a dominant tag team. Davisson and McDermott complement each other so well and they completely shut down Iris and Lewis tonight.

Rick Hall: If Angels of Death are truly back, this is going to be one hell of a rivalry once the AoD get back in ring shape.

Thunderbolt sends it backstage.

No CSPN. It’s just ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson getting things off his chest.

‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson: I wanna say this right now. ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson has roamed the independent wrestling scene for years.   I ain’t never backed down from a fight. I’ve taken on anyone and everyone. But only now does it appear I’m getting the respect I deserve. When the SEC brought us in, they brought us in knowing that we’ve been in the ring with some great wrestlers over the years. We’ve won a few matches. We’ve lost a bunch of matches. I’ve gained respect. But tonight I’m after a whole lot more. So, here’s how it’s going to go down tonight. ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson will win the MVW Title. Charlie Blackwell? You’ve been a dominant champion. But I can promise you- you ain’t seen me yet. ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson is about as hardcore as it gets. I know you’re good, you’re damn good, Charlie. But as I keep saying though, I’m pretty damn good too. Tonight, when the bell rings at the end of the match, I promise you that Charlie Blackwell will know damn well that I am the three hundred and thirty pound Southern brawler and once that ol’ bell goes off, anything and everything is going to happen.

Dickinson does the ‘belt around the waist’ gesture.

‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson: Next week, ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson becomes the MVW champion.

Cut to another area backstage.

Paige is with the challenger for the Women’s title, Yosemite Samantha. She’s flanked by all three Hanson Sisters.

Yosemite Samantha looks as focused as she’s ever been.

Paige senses that and asks her if she’s too focused about her match with Christa Carmondy.

Yosemite Samantha: No.

Paige waits for further elaboration. There’s none coming. She continues on and asks if she’s concerned about the SEC interfering in the match.

Yosemite Samantha: No.

Again, Paige waits for further elaboration. Again, there’s none coming. Paige moves on. She asks Yosemite Samantha if she’s going to make any changes in her game plan based on the earlier matches she had with Christa.

Yosemite Samantha: No.

No further elaboration. Finally, Melissa Hanson pipes up.

Melissa Hanson: Paige, Christa will show up with her army at MVWA 89. We will be there as well. If the SEC wants a war, we’ll be right there fighting.

And with that, Yosemite Samantha and the Hansons depart.

Back at the SEC set, Rebecca Morris speaks with the MVW Women’s Champion Christa Carmondy.

Rebecca asks her about Yosemite Samantha’s comments a couple minutes ago.

Christa responds that Yosemite Samantha didn’t say much of anything.

Christa Carmondy: It seems to me that Yosemite Samantha is letting the pressure get to her. She’s unhinged. She’s deranged. She’s not going to be able to keep it together. I’ve traveled all over the Midwest. I’ve wrestled in just about every atmosphere there is. I know what it takes to be a champion. When Yosemite Samantha loses it, you can bet that I’ll be there and ready to react.

Christa adds it takes a lot more than funneling pure rage and emotion to win a match. She says you need heart, a gameplan, and composure.

Christa Carmondy: When going gets tough, who will prevail? Brains will prevail over brawn everytime.

Cut back to Thunderbolt.

Thunderbolt Smith: We are definitely looking at a clash of styles between Christa Carmondy and Yosemite Samantha.

Rick Hall: Yes we are. But Christa is right. You can ride emotion a long ways but Christa will keep her wits about her and take Yosemite Samantha’s emotions and turn it against her. This is where Christa has really improved over the past couple of years.

Thunderbolt Smith: All right. We’ve got the MVW Heartland title match coming up next after these messages.

Announcer Guy: “And now, a public service announcement from Jill Berg.”

*The opening notes of Whitney Houston’s version of ‘The Greatest Love of All’ starts to play*

I believe the children are our are future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier

Jill Berg appears with two children flanking her.

Jill Berg: Hi. I’m Jill Berg. I believe the children are our future. Communities statewide are recognizing that healthy childhood experiences are not just good for children, but good for their communities as well. It’s simple really. The actions we take, like parent-child interaction, reading and constructive play, can promote healthy child development.

Everybody searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to
I never found anyone to fulfill my needs
A lonely place to be
So I learned to depend on me…”

The scene shifts to Jill sitting on a couch with children playing in front of her. She leans forward with her chin resting on her hand.

Jill Berg: Unfortunately, children are sometimes exposed to intensive stress. Too much stress is bad for anyone but it can be devastating to child development.

Child: BANZAI!

Behind Jill, one boy leaps across the couch and tackles another boy.

Jill Berg: At a time when we all care about the economy and its effect on the family, it just makes sense to spend more time learning how stable, nurturing relationships influence a child’s developing brain and provide a foundation for all future development.

Another boy stands on the arm of the couch, preparing to jump.

He leaps and lands a flying elbow.

Jill Berg: So, promote healthy child development. Take time out to play with your child-YOW!

The camera slides back to show a young girl with a mischevious grin on her face and her foot on Jill’s expensive heels.

Jill Berg: Take the time to play with your child. And you and your child will be the better for it. I, Jill Berg, will do my part as well because I’m not just wrestling for me- I’m wrestling for the children!

MVW reruns Paige McGillicutty’s interview with Missouri Valley Wrestling Champion Charlie Blackwell from last week about his match at MVWA 89 against ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson.

REPLAY: Last Week’s Interview

Paige welcomes in the MVW Champion Charlie Blackwell.

Paige McGillicutty: At MVWA 89, you will face not only ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson…you will face the SEC for the first time since you left the group.

Paige asks about the SEC.

Blackwell says he knows how the SEC operates and he’s going to have to hope that ‘Cowboy’ Dan Butler and ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas can help negate their threat.

Charlie Blackwell: In the end? It’s going to be Charlie Blackwell versus ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson. Period. The best man is going to win the match and that man is me.

Paige thanks Charlie and sends it back to Thunderbolt and Hall.

Thunderbolt Smith: Blackwell versus Dickinson for the MVW Title. The classic battle between power and technical ability.

Rick Hall: Charlie thinks that he can negate Dickinson’s brawling style but he’ll be giving up a lot of weight to the three hundred and thirty pound Southern brawler. He is a totally different animal compared to Ray McAvay. But if anyone can figure out a way, it’s Charlie Blackwell.

Thunderbolt says it’s time for the main event. To the ring and Kimber Marshall…

Kimber takes the cue and goes.

Kimber Marshall: Ladies and gentlemen, our main event tonight is a one fall…

Crowd: ONE fall!

Kimber Marshall: …and it is for the Missouri Valley Wrestling Heartland Title! Introducing the challenger…

Thunderbolt Smith: SNAFU versus ‘Cowboy’ Dan Butler for the Heartland Title.

Rick Hall: SNAFU has settled in as the Heartland champion. He’s sucessfully defended the belt all over the Midwest since winning the title on February 3rd against Average Joe at a Missouri Valley Wrestling house show in Danville, Illinois. ‘Cowboy’ Dan Butler is a former Heartland champion and he’s more than capable of stepping up and winning the title back.

Referee Ron Martin checks both wrestlers and calls for the bell.

Thunderbolt Smith: And here we go! This is for the Heartland title!

Butler comes out and extends his right hand. SNAFU left hand meets it. Brief test of strength follows…Butler dives to the ground and sweeps SNAFU’s legs out. Butler drops an elbow. Right hand by Butler keeps SNAFU on the deck. SNAFU up…Butler’s right hand sends him right back down. SNAFU back up. Butler rears back and goes for the haymaker. But the challenger misses with a right hand. SNAFU sends Butler to the ropes, jumps and spins, he catches Butler with the spinning heel kick.

Both SNAFU and Butler exchange right hands. Butler sends SNAFU to the corner. The Cowboy charges at SNAFU and drives his shoulder into his midsection. In the corner, Butler lands a couple more rights to the midsection. SNAFU spins him around. Hops on middle rope and hits a Springboard back elbow that backs Butler up. He calls for a chair. E.J. Flack throws one to him. SNAFU throws it at Butler and catches him in the face.

Knife edged chop to the face by SNAFU. A second knife edged chop. Three knife edged chops. Butler staggers back. SNAFU sets the chair up. He jumps on the chair to the top rope and flips backwards onto Butler. Cover…one…two…Butler kicks out.

Thunderbolt Smith: Nice set of moves there by SNAFU.

Rick Hall: Butler has to slow down SNAFU’s high flying style.

Boots by SNAFU. Butler tries to get to the ropes.

SNAFU takes off from the chair again and drives his legs into Butler’s chest. Butler drops to a seated position. SNAFU pulls him out from the corner. Cover…one…Butler kicks out. Haley Dallas shouts encouragement to Butler. Butler rakes SNAFU’s eyes and shoves him back. Butler flies in and levels SNAFU with a forearm shot. Butler hovers over SNAFU and flips him off. Then he starts laying in the boots and angrily stomps the hell out of SNAFU.

Butler picks up the steel folding chair. *WHAP* He waffles SNAFU with the chair. *WHAP* SNAFU spins like a slow moving top. Chair on the ground. Butler maneuvers SNAFU over. DDT!

Cover. One…two…SNAFU kicks out. Butler drags SNAFU to the middle of the ring and climbs up to the top turnbuckle.

Thunderbolt Smith: Now it’s Butler who’s going to fly.

Rick Hall: That’s not his forte.

SNAFU gets his boot up and Butler’s balls run right into it.

Thunderbolt Smith: SNAFU GOT THE FOOT UP!

Rick Hall: Yeah, that’s gotta hurt. Again, not Butler’s wheelhouse.

Butler bent over at an angle. SNAFU hits a swinging neckbreaker. Cover…one…two…NO! Butler kicks out. SNAFU grabs the chair. He surfboards it and lands on Butler. Cover…one…two…again Butler kicks out.

Thunderbolt Smith: And rest, too.

Butler yanks at the arm to deaden it and gets back to his feet. SNAFU also tries to stand but Butler keeps the pressure on the arm. A couple boots keep SNAFU down. Butler pulls him up and whips SNAFU into the ropes. Boot to the gut by Butler doubles SNAFU over. Right hand by Butler sends the champion walking back to the ropes. Irish whip sends SNAFU across the ring. Butler bends over for the back body drop- SNAFU stops and kicks him in the face. Butler drops to his knees.

Thunderbolt Smith: Butler telegraphed that move badly.

Rick Hall: You can’t make mistakes like that in a title match.

SNAFU whips around…*SMACK* BUZZSAW KICK! SNAFU covers…one…two…NO!

Thunderbolt Smith: ‘Cowboy’ Dan Butler got his foot on the ropes at the last possible second!

Rick Hall: That was oh so close Thunderbolt. So close.

Butler pulls himself up. SNAFU casually walks around him. Butler launches himself forward, arm outstretched, and decapitates SNAFU with the Texas Lariat.

Thunderbolt Smith: That came out of nowhere!

Rick Hall: We might have a new champion!
