REPLAY: Charlie Blackwell Last Week

Blackwell in the ring.

Charlie Blackwell: You know, I have to admit I would have been pissed off too had someone did to me what I did to William Daniels Bryan. I know that WDB is probably not going to stop until he gets payback for what I did to him. So…I suppose we’re going to have to settle this score, mano y mano…once and for all. Just you and me, WDB.

Chism gets bulldozed by a 330 pound Southern bulldozer.

Thunderbolt Smith
‘Long Haul’ Rick Hall

Thunderbolt Smith and ‘Long Haul’ Rick Hall welcome everyone to Missouri Valley Wrestling’s Sunday Night Wrestling.

Thunderbolt Smith: Last week, MVW Women’s Champion Christa Carmondy lost the match, held on to the title, and gained herself some big time backup when she officially signed on with the Sports Entertainment Coalition last week.

Rick Hall: Am I surprised? Nope. The SEC needed a big name in the female ranks to give them a shot at the title. Christa Carmondy is the Women’s champion. Problem solved.

Smith also notes that last week, one piece of the puzzle that is the card for MVWA 89 was solved when ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson- also a new SEC acquisition- defeated William Daniels Bryan, ‘Starz N. Stripes’ Kevin Scott, and ‘The One Man Hollywood A-List’ Stone Chism in a four way elimination match to become the new #1 contender to Charlie Blackwell’s MVW Title.

Rick Hall: Dickinson is another one that Mr. McMann brought into the SEC and he’s paying off immediate dividends. He was dominant in the Heartland division. He’s made the jump up and he hasn’t missed a beat.

Thunderbolt Smith: Charlie Blackwell will be a test. Blackwell is the most polished, complete wrestler Dickinson has encountered.

Rick Hall: Charlie Blackwell will be a big test Thunderbolt.

Thunderbolt previews tonight’s show.
-Ashton Flowers with Dawn McGill will be in action
-Lisa Barbosa-Stevens has a match and also wants to get a few things off her chest about Yosemite Samantha and Christa Carmondy.
-MVW Champion Charlie Blackwell has a non-title tune up.
-Main Event…#1 Contender’s Match for the Tag Team Title between Weapons of Mass Destruction: A. Tom Bomb and Hy Drogen Bomb and The SEC: ‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller and ‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams

Hall adds that also on the show tonight:
-we’ll hear from the SEC, will Angels of Death be singing a contract with them tonight?
-Yosemite Samantha has some things on her mind after what happened last week.
-MVW CEO Jill Berg will be out tonight to discuss the women’s division and what happened last week during the Christa Carmondy-Yosemite Samantha match.

FIN: McGill Bomb

Flowers comes out with his manager Dawn McGill. Flowers is dressed in psychedelic 60’s-ish garb and McGill in a silver 60’s style mini-skirt with silver high heel go-go boots.

Flowers assists McGill into the ring and gives her a quick swat on her behind. McGill rolls her eyes.

Thunderbolt Smith: Ashton Flowers in action tonight here on MVW Sunday Night Wrestling.

Rick Hall: Flowers in his second televised match against the wily ring veteran Mr. Wrestling XXXIV.

Referee Brent Payson checks both wrestlers and he calls for the bell.

Collar and elbow tie up in the middle of the ring. Mr. Wrestling XXXIV strikes first with a hip toss take down. But before he can follow up, Flowers jumps back to his feet in no time and rushes forward. Shoulder block.   Nothing happens. Flowers runs the ropes…shoulder block. Mr. Wrestling XXXIV simply shakes his head. Flowers tries a third time. He slides in between Mr. Wrestling’s legs. Hops up. Spins. And delivers a low blow from behind. Flowers gets a vertical suplex DDT. Cover. One…tw- Mr. Wrestling XXXIV kicks out. As he did the last time he wrestled, Flowers does a quick dance in the ring.

Thunderbolt Smith: You know, the last time he goofed off like this in the ring…

REPLAY: Two Week Ago

Flowers gets a little payback with a vertical suplex DDT. Cover. One…tw- Starr kicks out. Flowers does a quick dance in the ring and gets clocked.

So what happens this time?

Flowers gets clocked by his opponent. Mr. Wrestling XXXIV then kicks Flowers in the chest. Flowers blocks the suplex attempt and runs. Off the ropes, Flowers misses the clothesline and runs right into Mr. Wrestling XXXIV’s boot! Flowers ends up on the outside. Mr. Wrestling XXXIV slingshots out of the ring but Dawn McGill catches him in mid-air with her go-go boot and he spins around two times before falling to the floor.

Thunderbolt Smith: That was a mistake. You don’t see a wily veteran making that type of screw up during the match.

Rick Hall: Especially if McGill is in the area. She’s never been shy about sticking her two cents into a match.

Both men back in the ring. Dawn tries to fire up the crowd by clapping. Flowers throws a few punches. Mr. Wrestling XXXIV draws back his fist to punch. Flowers drives his knee into the midsection.   He steps forward and hits a Sunset Flip. Cover…one…two…Mr. Wrestling XXXIV kicks out. Flowers follows up with a back elbow to the face. Flowers goes up top and hits a standing shooting star press. Flowers for the win. One…two…NO!

Thunderbolt Smith: Mr. Wrestling XXXIV somehow stays alive.

Rick Hall: Flowers in control of the match. And then he starts dancing again…

Flowers dances again in the ring. Mr. Wrestling XXXIV fights back with body shots that end the premature celebration. McGill shouts at Flowers to focus or…’FOCUS DAMMIT!’ Flowers looks quizzically over at her. Mr. Wrestling XXXIV hoists Flowers into the air. Flowers slides out the back door. Flowers unloads a judo chop and flattens Mr. Wrestling XXXIV.

Thunderbolt Smith: It’s that Judo Chop again!

Rick Hall: This could be it!

The referee makes the count…One…Two…THREE.

Thunderbolt Smith: It is IT! Ashton Flowers wins again!

WINNER: Ashton Flowers @ 4:57

As the theme from ‘Austin Powers’ plays, McGill and Flowers dance in the ring.

Thunderbolt Smith: Last week, you may have notice that Yosemite Samantha came out to the ring without the hockey stick swinging and checking Hanson Sisters for her match against Christa Carmondy. Here’s what Yosemite Samantha found when she returned to the dressing room.

REPLAY: Yosemite Samantha’s Dressing Room

Yosemite Samantha is royally pissed off as she slams the door open following her match.

Yosemite Samantha (yelling): WHERE WERE YOU?

She checks a couple places in the dressing room. No sign of the Hansons.

Yosemite Samantha (yelling): WHERE WERE YOU?

She checks a couple more places. No sign.

Yosemite Samantha (yelling): WHERE WERE-

She hears a sound. In the shower. Yosemite Samantha walks over. All three of the Hanson are on the floor…dressed in their old school Charlestown Chiefs hockey sweaters…groggy…and just coming to. Yosemite Samantha asks what happened.

Andrea Hanson (weakly): We were getting ready to come out…and everything went black.

MVW backstage interviewer Paige McGillicutty is with Yosemite Samantha.

Paige doesn’t even get a full question out before Yosemite Samantha starts to rant. She is hopping mad about what went down last week. She considers what went down last week a clear sign that people are trying to do everything possible to screw her out of the Women’s title.

Yosemite Samantha: Do you think I’m going to sit back and take this? Hell no! Do you think I’m going to sit back and let the Sports Entertainment Coalition get away with attacking me and costing me the Women’s title? Hell No! No more Ms. Nice Girl. The SEC brought the army in to prevent me from winning the title?

Andrea, Melissa, and Charissa Hanson aka…The Hanson Sisters…come out dressed in their retro Charlestown Chief hockey uniforms and armed with hockey sticks.

Yosemite Samantha: I’ve got an army of my own and I ain’t goin’ down without a fight. You want a fight. You got a fight! This is war!

And with that, YS and the Hanson take their leave.

Paige McGillicutty: Back to you Thunderbolt.

Cut back to Thunderbolt and Hall.

Thunderbolt Smith: Yeah, she’s not happy.

Rick Hall: She was winning the match last week. She was on her way to win the title. I’d be a little ticked off too.

Pop. Big…big pop.

Thunderbolt Smith: Well, we knew MVW CEO Jill Berg was going to come out and address the women’s match last week.

Rick Hall: Remember, she still has to book Christa Carmondy’s title defense at MVWA 89. We’ll see how she handles it.

The crowd erupts when the video screen shows the door to a dressing room in the back. A police escort is waiting at the door. One of the policemen knocks on the door.

Policeman: “Ms. Berg. It’s time.”

The door opens and eight male bodyguards walk out of the dressing room encircling a petite 95 pound woman and her male assistant in the middle. The woman, dressed in a smart, dark business suit and heels, is busy talking on her cell phone.   The man furiously scribbles down notes as the group makes their way towards the ring.

A huge roar greets the procession as it emerges from the back onto the stage and starts their way down the ramp.

The crowd is rocking and a chant of “JILLLLLLLL-BERGGGGGG! JILLLLLLLL-BERGGGGGG!” fills the bar.

Two of the bodyguards use a fire extinguisher to create a fog like effect as Jill walks through. Two others hold sparklers up in the air as she passes by.

Berg stops just front of the stage.

Jill Berg: Okay. I’ll make this quick and painless. In lieu of the shenanigans that took place last week during the Christa Carmondy-Yosemite Samantha match, I have decided Yosemite Samantha will get another shot at Christa at MVWA 89.

Berg then reviews the card as is:

Charlie Blackwell © vs. ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson of the SEC

Christa Carmondy © of the SEC vs. Yosemite Samantha

Rah and ‘Red Solo Cup’ Ray McAvay vs. the winner of The SEC/Weapons of Mass Destruction Match tonight.

MATCH #2 Lisa Barbosa-Stevens vs. Desiree Davis
Kimber introduces Desiree Davis who is already in the ring.

*“What Have You Done Now?” – Within Temptation*

Lisa Barbosa-Stevens walks out.

MGR: Ted Tebow- Tim Tebow’s long lost black sheep brother no one ever knew he had.

Barbosa-Stevens confidently walks down to the ring accompanied by Ted Tebow- Tim Tebow’s long lost black sheep brother no one ever knew he had.

Thunderbolt Smith: Lisa Barbosa-Stevens has to be a little irritated at the fact that she can’t get a title show against Christa Carmondy.

Rick Hall: Jill Berg made it clear earlier that due to the SEC’s interference in the match that Yosemite Samantha deserved another chance. I can’t really blame her from doing that.

Thunderbolt Smith: We’ll see if she takes out her frustration on Desiree Davis. Ron Martin is the referee and we are ready to go.

Barbosa-Stevens wastes no time and goes right after Davis at the bell. She whips her into the ropes. Davis avoids a shoulder block and hits the ropes on the other side. Davis goes for a clothesline. She misses. Barbosa-Stevens responds with a boot to the gut. Swinging neckbreaker. Barbosa-Stevens drops an elbow. Cover…one…tw- Davis kicks out. Barbosa-Stevens whips Davis into ropes and follows. She grabs Davis as she hits the ropes…lifts her up and back…rolls her into a small package. One…two…kick out again by Davis. Davis back up. Barbosa-Stevens spears Davis. Cover…one…two…Davis again kicks out. Chops by Barbosa-Stevens, then forearms as well.

Thunderbolt Smith: Barbosa-Stevens is not giving her any opportunity to breathe.

Rick Hall: As you kind of alluded to earlier, Lisa’s not happy and she’s making her point be known here tonight.

Davis tries to fight back. She goes to the top rope but Barbosa-Stevens goes over an slams her off the top rope. Barbosa-Stevens lands a series of strikes that staggers Davis. Barbosa-Stevens lands an arm trap lariat. Cover…one…two…Davis gets the shoulder up. Barbosa-Stevens whips Davis into the ropes and sets for the Toxic Sting. Davis holds on to the ropes. Davis tries a high crossbody but Barbosa-Stevens catches her mid-air and power slams her to the mat. Barbosa-Stevens hits the powerbomb and makes the cover- one…two…Davis gets the shoulder up at the last second. Davis tries to fight back. Barbosa-Stevens boots her in the gut…Toxic Sting!

Thunderbolt Smith: And that should do it.

Cover. One…two…THREE!

WINNER: Lisa Barbosa-Stevens @ 3:03

Thunderbolt Smith: So Lisa Barbosa-Stevens methodically takes Desiree Davis apart to win an impressive victory here on Sunday Night Wrestling.

Rick Hall: Lisa wasn’t messing around tonight. She was in seek and destroy mode. Desiree didn’t stand a chance.

Thunderbolt Smith: And Lisa has the microphone now.

Barbosa-Stevens paces back and forth. Tebow remains in the ring with her.

Lisa Barbosa-Stevens: Yeah. I’m not happy.   I’ll admit.

Lisa states she’s still a little chapped at the ‘tag match’ last month where she had to team with Sheline Carrigan against Yosemite Samantha and ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot. She doesn’t like not having complete control over her destiny. She had to rely on Carrigan to get to where she wanted to be and Carrigan let her down.

Lisa Barbosa-Stevens: I thought Missouri Valley Wrestling was all about the wrestling and not about the Sports Entertainment silly gimmicks. Maybe I’m just being a little oversensitive, but having to tag with the biggest rival to your dreams in order to give you a chance to make those dreams come true…it’s breeds drama.

Speaking of drama, Barbosa-Stevens then turns to the Yosemite Samantha saga. She admires her spunk. She admires her singleminded drive to go after what she wants. But it’s getting in Barbosa-Stevens’ way.

Lisa Barbosa-Stevens: Okay. She got screwed over in her match last week. It happens. This is pro wrestling. Nothing ever always goes to plan. Trust me. If anyone knows about that, it’s me.

Barbosa-Steven drops the mic and exits.

Cut back to Thunderbolt and Hall.

Thunderbolt Smith: No, she’s not upset at all.

Rick Hall: I think it’s more frustration. She has a point. All she wants is control of her destiny and right now she doesn’t have it. And that’s frustrating.

Thunderbolt Smith: All right, Paige McGillicutty has the MVW Champion Charlie Blackwell with her backstage.

Paige welcomes in the MVW Champion Charlie Blackwell.

Paige McGillicutty: At MVWA 89, you will face not only ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson…you will face the SEC for the first time since you left the group.

Blackwell has nothing but good things to say about Bill Dickinson. He says his Heartland title run was nothing short of phenomenal. Dickinson was a dominant champion who fought anyone and everyone.

Charlie Blackwell: But he hasn’t wrestled anyone like me. Bill can get away with his pure power game against less polished talent. But he won’t be able to get away with it with me. I know how to counter his power. I know how to use my skill and talent to negate his strength.

Paige asks about the SEC.

Blackwell says he knows how the SEC operates and he’s going to have to hope that ‘Cowboy’ Dan Butler and ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas can help negate their threat.

Charlie Blackwell: In the end? It’s going to be Charlie Blackwell versus ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson. Period. The best man is going to win the match and that man is me.

Paige thanks Charlie and sends it back to Thunderbolt and Hall.

Thunderbolt Smith: Charlie’s going to the ring and Kimber Marshall is already there.

MATCH #3/NON-TITLE MATCH: MVW Champion Charlie Blackwell vs. Willie Idol
Kimber introduces ‘My idol…your idol’ Willie Idol who’s already in the ring.

*“As If” – Van Halen*

Blackwell comes out holding up his MVW Title belt. ‘Cowboy’ Dan Butler and ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas follows.

‘Charlie Wrestling’ Charlie Blackwell (Texas Strangers)
AGE: 29 / HT: 6′ 4″  WT: 224 / HOME: Dallas, TX

FIN: Katahajime

Blackwell turns his back and shows off his robe which also says ‘Charlie Wrestling’ on the back.

Thunderbolt Smith: Charlie Blackwell has a big date coming up in two weeks.

Rick Hall: In more ways than one. ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson is big. And he’s had quite a two year stretch here in MVW.

Referee Brent Payson calls for the bell to start the match.

Early exchanges. Shoulder block by Blackwell. Idol avoids a second shoulder block so Blackwell drop toeholds him to the mat. Both back up. Idol charges again and Blackwell hip tosses him to the mat. Annoyed, Idol takes a breather in the corner. Blackwell tries to get at him. But Idol hits an enziguri and sends Blackwell tumbling down. Idol takes a bow.

Thunderbolt Smith: Idol trying to put up a fight here.

Rick Hall: He’s going to need to throw everything at Charlie.

Blackwell decides to ground things. Arm drag takedown. Blackwell attacks Idol’s arm. Idol tries to work to his feet, but Blackwell brings him back down and works the arm. Idol again fights to his feet and slips out. Blackwell hits a dropkick and drives Idol into the ropes. Blackwell attacks the leg again. He takes Idol down. Idol counters out, but Blackwell quickly goes back to the arm. Blackwell turns Idol and his shoulders hit the mat. One…two…Idol rolls and gets a shoulder up.

Thunderbolt Smith: Blackwell showing he can do this a couple different ways. He is turning Idol into pretzel.

Rick Hall: Idol’s going to get himself pinned or worse, Katahajime’d if he doesn’t find a way to get out of there.

Idol finally does that. He counters out, hits a snap mare and then a dropkick. Idol rallies. He lays in chops, but Blackwell cuts off a boot to the gut. Swinging neckbreaker. Cover…one…two…Idol just gets out. Blackwell stays on him and locks on the submission.

Thunderbolt Smith: KATAHAJIME!

Idol makes a half-hearted effort to fight it…but he taps out and that’s all.

WINNER: Charlie Blackwell at 3:11

Thunderbolt Smith: Charlie Blackwell with the win. We’ve got a big tag team match with MVWA 89 implications coming up right after these messages.

Fred’s Sr. Commercial

Announcer Guy: It’s a Fred’s Sr. Burger Cash Cow commercial and you know what that means.

[The spot starts as Dark and Stormy, valets for Missouri Valley Wrestling Men’s Champion Ray McAvay and wearing McAvay’s official ‘Show Up. Punch In. Shut Up. Get to Work.’ T-shirts (in white) and Daisy Duke Shorts, exit a Fred’s Sr. Burger Cash Cow restaurant.  The ladies walk in slow motion towards a pick-up truck hauling a trailer with a hot tub on it…each carrying a bag full of Fred’s Sr. Burger Cash Cow food.]

[They climb up onto the trailer and sit on the edge. Feet dangling from the trailer, Dark and Stormy each pull out a Carl’s Jr’s half pound Western Bacon Thickburger and begin to eat in a most sensuous stimulating way.]

[Cut to inside the store, a mother and her two teenage sons are dining. One of the son’s turns and stares at Dark and Stormy. Stormy, her brown hair ruffling in the artificially produced wind thanks to a huge off screen fan, sees the boy and waves.]

[Dark, her black hair also fluttering in the breeze, takes a huge bite from the sandwich and a massive glob of barbeque sauce that’s slathered onto the sandwich falls and stains her pearly white t-shirt. Of course, she’s horrified at the development. She slips off her pumps and climbs into the hot tub. While keeping the Thickburger high and dry, Dark then dunks herself into the water and rises back up. Her hair now wet…and the t-shirt too but thanks to strategic camera placing and shots, we don’t see any more of her than we really need to for mainstream television purposes.]

[The patrons in the restaurant?]

[Cut to the store. A crowd of people flood to the window.]

[Stormy takes a sizable bite of her Thickburger and, shocking, a major glob of barbeque sauce spills onto her white t-shirt. So she kicks off her shoes too and climbs in.]

[More people crowd up against the window.]

[Stormy drops into the water and comes back up. Again, strategic camera position protects America’s prying eyes from seeing more than they should.]

[The mother inside the store with the two teenage boys notices that they are missing. Where did they go?]

[The boys have their faces pressed up against the window and watch.]

[Back to the trailer, a strange man wearing a janitor’s uniform climbs up onto the trailer and hands Dark a supersized bottle of barbeque sauce. She slowly opens up the bottle and proceeds to pour it all over the burger, all over Stormy’s burger, and then all over herself. Being the helpful person she is, Stormy tries to clean up the massive mess her friend just made by licking the sauce off Dark’s shirt…and then her neck…and then her arms.]

[At that point, the crowd that used to be inside the store suddenly stream outside.]

Announcer Guy: Two for the price of one.

[Stormy pours some of the barbeque sauce on herself and Dark begins to lick it off her.]

Announcer Guy: Fred’s Sr. Burger Cash Cow’s Half Pound Western Thickburger

[Dark then begins to raise up Stormy’s shirt as the commercial ends.]

Backstage on the special set that was built just for the Sports Entertainment Coalition by Corporate Sports(Entertainment) Programming Nation…or…CSPN, Reese Anderson and Rebecca Morris interviews ‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams and ‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller before their big match number one contender’s match against former PCW Tag Team champions The Dork Dynasty- Leonard and Sheldon Robertson.

Also on set- ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann and the SEC mouthpiece Phil Finebaum.

Anderson started off with the big question- are they going to re-sign the five time former MVW tag team champions Angels of Death to a contract. McMann pipes up and objects to the question. McMann then threatens to get on the phone and raise holy hell with CSPN’s CEO Mark Splitter unless the question was immediately retracted.

Anderson apologizes profusely…(because remember, in the end it’s not about journalism but it’s about partnership…koff…koff…corporate branding) and then tosses a softball question up about the upcoming match tonight.

Williams responds that this is why they hate interviews.

‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams: You’re expecting a canned response. We don’t do that. Not me. Not Dave. And certainly not Bill Dickinson. We’re here for one reason. To kick some ass.

McMann cringes a bit at the response. Finebaum flashes a thumbs up.

Miller basically repeats what Williams says when Rebecca Morris also throws him a soft question.

Then Mr. McMann has a final spin.

Mr. McMann: Tonight, a rougher and tougher Sports Entertainment Coalition lays the foundation down to return to the top. With Dan Williams and Dave Miller-

‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams: Dangerous’ Dan Williams.

Dastardly’ Dave Miller: ‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller.

Mr. McMann: …right, with these two men and ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson on board, with the addition of MVW Women’s Champion Christa Carmondy, the SEC is positioned smartly to bring back the prestige…and most importantly…more championship gold it richly deserves.

Carmondy, wearing the women’s title belt proudly around her waist, steps forward. She tells Yosemite Samantha to stop whining. She’ll get another shot at the title. She’ll lose again.

Christa Carmondy: Jill Berg can book this match over and over until the end of time, Christa Carmondy is a better wrestler than Yosemite Samantha. The SEC is better than any other faction in this company and they will make sure the nipping poodles known as the Hanson Sisters don’t come near me during the match.

Phil Finebaum: My faction is better than your faction and the SEC is the BEST faction in Missouri Valley Wrestling!

Cut to backstage with the SEC’s opponents tonight- Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Backstage interviewer Paige McGillicutty has A. Tom Bomb and Hy Drogen Bomb, Daisy Cutter-Bomb, and the lifesize wooden statue of General George Patton.

Paige’s first question is about the new look SEC and the challenge they bring.

A-Bomb states it’s ‘not a challenge…it’s a wrestling match.’

A. Tom Bomb: Miller and Williams like to fight. We like to fight. The winner of the match will be who fights better than the other team.

Hy Drogen Bomb: General George S. Patton once said the following…”Achievers are resolute in their goals and driven by determination. Discouragement is temporary, obstacles are overcome, and doubt is defeated, yielding to personal victory. You need to overcome the tug of people against you as you reach for high goals. Accept the challenges, so that you may feel the exhilaration of victory.”

H-Bomb adds that’s how WMD will address the match.

Daisy motions them on.

Paige sends it back to Thunderbolt and Hall.

Thunderbolt Smith: And it’s time for our main event.

A-Bomb, H-Bomb, and Daisy arrive at ringside. A-Bomb and H-Bomb roll in and circle the ring shouting at the top of their lungs.

Thunderbolt Smith: Well? I don’t think we’re going to see a whole lot of technical expertise in this match.

Rick Hall: This is going to be a fight. Plain and simple.

Referee Davey Keels in the ring and he calls for the bell.

Thunderbolt Smith: Winner gets a title shot at MVWA 89 against Ray McAvay and Rah!

Both teams attack at the bell. Miller flies in and makes the save for Williams when A-Bomb and H-Bomb try a doubleteam suplex. Williams stuns everyone in the building when he suddenly small packages A-Bomb. One…two…A-Bomb kicks out.

Thunderbolt Smith: As soon as I say don’t expect technical expertise, Williams displays technical expertise.

Rick Hall: It happens to the best of us.

H-Bomb tags in. He lays in uppercuts on Williams and ‘Dangerous’ Dan takes five. H-Bomb follows. ‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller hits H-Bomb with the mic stand. Williams then whips him into the barricade.

A-Bomb runs around the ring and blasts Williams from behind. Miller works over H-Bomb. Referee Keels tries to keep things from completely spilling on to the floor by starting a count.

Thunderbolt Smith: I think we’ve seen the pattern this match is going to follow.

Rick Hall: Williams and Miller are street fighters. A-Bomb and H-Bomb just ooze power.

Both legal men back in. Williams continues to attack H-Bomb. Finally, Williams tags in Miller who joins in and chokes H-Bomb out over the ropes. Miller attacks the leg and tries to ground things.

But H-Bomb is way too strong and powers his way out. He tags A-Bomb back in. Miller rakes his eyes and follows with kicks. Williams back in and grounds A-Bomb. A-Bomb tries to escape. Keels tries to get Williams out of the ring.

Thunderbolt Smith: Davey Keels is going to have his hands full with this one.

…Miller is preparing to jump off the ropes with A-Bomb lying on the mat.

Thunderbolt Smith: If Miller hits that, the SEC will win the match.

Rick Hall: Hold on. Miller doesn’t see Daisy coming up from behind on him.

Miller doesn’t see her. Daisy pushes him off the top rope and he falls hard to the mat.

Miller scrambles to get back to his feet. H-Bomb in the ring. He spins Miller 180 around.

Thunderbolt Smith: Right hand by H-Bomb and staggers Miller!

H-Bomb whips Miller across the ring. H-Bomb bends over…Miller stops and delivers a forearm to the back of the neck.

Thunderbolt Smith: Big mistake there!

Rick Hall: H-Bomb telegraphed the back body drop and Miller made him pay.

Miller rolls H-Bomb…cover…one…two…NO! H-Bomb kicks out. Williams tags in for the SEC. He races across the ring and takes out A-Bomb.

At ringside, MVW Women’s champion Christa Carmondy stands over Daisy Cutter-Bomb with a chair.

Johnny Suave: What happened there?

Rick Hall: Christa Carmondy went up to Daisy Cutter-Bomb and cracked her over the head with the steel chair.

Daisy rolls back and forth holding her head.

Christa puts Daisy on her stomach and sits down on her…she loops her arms under Daisy’s and pulls her head back.

Rick Hall: Christa’s got Daisy in a Cobra Clutch!

Miller hits the high cross on H-Bomb. He tries to hook the legs but doesn’t succeed. One…H-Bomb lateral presses Miller off of him. H-Bomb launches Miller into the ropes. Miller reverses. H-Bomb counters a sling blade into a cobra twist. Williams and A-Bomb battle at ringside. H-Bomb slams Miller.   Cover…one…two…Miller gets the shoulder up.

Thunderbolt Smith: Something’s going on outside the ring.

Yosemite Samantha and the Hansons race down to the ring.

Christa Carmondy sees them and drops the hold on Daisy. She immediately bails and takes off for the back. Yosemite Samantha and the Hansons follow.

Thunderbolt Smith: It’s chaos down here!

Referee Keels desperately tries to play traffic cop. Miller hits a sling blade on H-Bomb. H-Bomb runs the ropes. Miller ducks a lariat. He pushes H-Bomb towards the other side.

Dickinson potatoes H-Bomb with a steel folding chair.

Thunderbolt Smith: ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson snuck and just walloped H-Bomb with the chair.

Rick Hall: Keels didn’t see that!

Williams slams A-Bomb into the ring post.

Miller gets H-Bomb to his feet and stands back to back. He lifts him up and bends over, slamming H-Bomb to the mat.

Thunderbolt Smith: SOUTHERN CROSS!

Rick Hall: The SEC’s going to win this!

Miller hooks the leg. Keels in for the count. One. Two. THREE!

The crowd boos in response.

WINNER: The SEC (‘Dastardly’ Dave Miller and ‘Dangerous’ Dan Williams) @ 14:04 (8:00 on TV)

Thunderbolt Smith: And it’s going to be The SEC versus Rah and ‘Red Solo Cup’ Ray McAvay for the Missouri Valley Wrestling Tag Team title at MVWA 89.

Rick Hall: It was everything we thought it was going to be. The SEC is back and they are gunning for a big MVWA 89.

Thunderbolt wraps it up and says goodbye for another show.
