MVW Sunday Night Wrestling Recap – December 3rd

MVW Sunday Night Wrestling Recap
Sunday December 3rd, 2017
Hosts: Thunderbolt Smith and ‘Long Haul’ Rick Hall

The show kicked off with highlights from the big three matches from MVWA 79.

(End of MVW Tag Team Title Match: The Sports Entertainment Corporation: P.M.C. Banks and ‘Canadian Bad Boy’ Justin Beaver © vs. The Island of Misfit Wrestlers: Rah and ‘The Luchador with Insanely Poor Oral Hygiene’ Halitosis)

Beaver tosses Halitosis around the ring. The running splash connects for 2. Banks tags back in and hits a high cross, covering for 2 as Rah makes the save. Rah takes out Blackwell and sends him out of the ring. Beaver blasts Rah from behind and sends him to the floor. In the chaos, Banks rolls up Halitosis and picks up the win at 12:35.

(End of MVW Women’s Title Match: Lisa Barbosa-Stevens © vs. Yosemite Samantha)

Barbosa-Stevens locks in the Ankle Lock, but Samantha makes the ropes. Barbosa-Stevens hits a back breaker and slams Yosemite Samantha to the ropes. Yosemite Samantha staggers to the mat and Barbosa-Stevens slaps on the Ankle Lock again for the win at the 8:06 mark.

Post-match, Barbosa-Steven refuses to release the hold and the Hanson Sisters hit the ring, Regina McGill hits the ring, ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin hits the ring to make the save.

(End of MVW Men’s Title Match: ‘Tin Cup’ Ray McAvay © vs. Charlie Blackwell)

‘Divalicious’ Dawn McGill booted McAvay in the balls and it looked like Blackwell was going to win. But when Blackwell went for the cover, the referee was otherwise distracted by McGill who had ref Davey Keels in a full lip lock. Blackwell confronted McGill…McGill kicked HIM in the balls…followed with a DDT…and dragged McAvay over for the pinfall.

After the match, ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann shouts at Dawn…Dawn brings him into the ring the hard way and then locks in the Testicular Claw. Finally MVW CEO Jill Berg comes to the ring and asks Dawn what she wants. McGill tells her she wants her release. Berg grants the request.

Smith and Hall then talk about the departure of Dawn McGill from Missouri Valley Wrestling

(Video from Dawn McGill’s Goodbye at the end of MVWA 79)

Dawn’s sister Regina comes out and embraces her. ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin also comes to the ring and shares a long hug with Dawn. And finally, Dawn’s ex-husband…still smarting from getting kicked in the balls minutes before…Ray McAvay stands up and embraces her.

Taped at Saturday night’s house show, Charlie Blackwell marches out to the ring with the SEC (‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann, CSPN CEO Mark Splitter, the tag team champions Banks and Beaver with Miley Vyrus and Taylor Switt, women’s champion Lisa Barbosa-Stevens) and he is livid over the end of his match with Ray McAvay at MVWA 79.

Blackwell goes off on how McAvay ‘can’t beat him without the help of other people’- a direct reference to Dawn McGill’s double turn where she took down McAvay with a stiletto kick to the balls and then did the same to Blackwell.

McMann is spitting mad. One, Dawn McGill was released from her MVW contract. Which means, two, the video tape of Ken Kardoucheian’s dream date with Dawn McGill that the SEC- through CSPN- paid 2 million dollars for didn’t achieve its desired result…Dawn McGill’s service to the SEC. McMann claimed that the video, while salacious and truly not Dawn McGill’s best moment, didn’t result in the outcome promised. McMann calls the ‘video’ typical Hollywood sleaze and demands a full refund.

Splitter then complains that as a result of this unscrupulous transaction, CSPN is going to have to lay off a lot of ‘little people who don’t make a lot of money anyways but we’ll cut them instead of our high priced talent’ from the company.

Khris Kardoucheian walks to ringside with his sons and blames both McMann and Splitter for not adequately having a plan put together regarding Dawn McGill before paying the two million dollars for the video.

McMann threatens to take it to MVW CEO Jill Berg and she ends up coming out to the ring.

Berg tells McMann and Blackwell that she was clear in the run-up to last week’s Men’s title match that if Charlie did not defeat Ray McAvay he would be shuffled back to the pack and have to earn his way to another title shot. Blackwell- not happy. McMann- shrugs.

Berg then shoots down any involvement on her part in assisting the SEC in getting a refund of their money from the Kardoucheians. “It’s an issue between sleazy Hollywood dealings and a big corporation.” But Jill books an impromptu match between the SEC and the Kardoucheians and “it starts NOW!”

Match #1 / Non-Title Match

Tag Team Champions The Sports Entertainment Corporation: P.M.C. Banks and ‘Canadian Bad Boy’ Justin Beaver with ‘Young Hollywood’s’ Miley Vyrus and ‘Country…er…Pop Songstress’ Taylor Switt and the rest of the SEC
The Kardoucheian Empire: Ken and Koley Kardoucheian with Khourtney and Khris

The Kardoucheians hang for a couple minutes and then take off for the back when Rough Justice: D.B. Ruff and Connor Justice- two former police officers fired for their extreme brand of law enforcement hit the ring and attack the SEC. Banks and Beaver escape Rough Justice and chase after the Kardoucheians with Charlie Blackwell.

WINNER: The Sports Entertainment Corporation: P.M.C. Banks and ‘Canadian Bad Boy’ Justin Beaver via DQ

Bo Stevens talks with MVW backstage interviewer Blair Moise backstage. He cuts a promo on TV Champion ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson- whom he faces next week for the TV belt. Stevens tells Blair that like in the two matches with ‘No Frills’ Chris Escondido, he’s going to take what he learned from the first match and apply it to the rematch. Stevens adds ‘BO-lief’ (cue Ted Tebow- Tim Tebow’s long lost black sheep brother no one ever knew existed before, Tebowing) will win the day.

Men’s Champion ‘Tin Cup’ Ray McAvay cuts an in-ring promo. He admits he didn’t know what to think at MVWA 79 when ex-wife Dawn McGill kicked him in the balls. McAvay thought he’d lost the title belt until Dawn stunned the SEC by turning around and taking Blackwell out. He calls Blackwell desperate and delusional and hasn’t forgotten all the things he did to Dawn to bring her to the SEC.

Match #2 / Non-Title Match

Men’s Champion ‘Tin Cup’ Ray McAvay
Average Joe

This match lasts less than two minutes when Independent Western Wrestling World Champion Rod Hall shows up with his Emo and attacks McAvay.

WINNER: ‘Tin Cup’ Ray McAvay via DQ

The fifty-five year old Hall is a twenty-seven year legend in the western independent wrestling scene and known as being the only pro wrestler who’s ever wrestled with an arm length puppet with a false arm named Emo. Emo’s wooden face had sweeping multi-colored hair, black make up around his eyes with black horn-rimmed glasses, and an often combative and emotional disposition.

Clayton Ridgeway of the Independent Western Wrestling World then walks out with Jill Berg and the two make a joint announcement. MVWA 80 will feature several MVW vs. I3W matches including a grudge match between Ray McAvay and Rod Hall and his Emo. Jill notes that McAvay and Hall have a past. The two met in a match over two years ago…

(10/18/2015: ‘Tin Cup’ Ray McAvay vs. Rod Hall and his Emo © – I3W Title Match)

McAvay used his hands to balance himself with the help of the ropes. Then he touched his nose with his hand.

“AWWWW, DID I BREAK YOUR NOSE McAVAY? HOW ABOUT THIS…” Emo again leapt forward and headbutted McAvay in the eye. Blood began to flow from a small cut caused by a tiny razor attached to the puppet’s ‘hand.’

“HEY REF!” two female voices shouted from the other side of the ring. Dark and Stormy were perched on the ring apron and they were slowly, seductively undoing the buttons of their new edition HOW Ray McAvay baseball jerseys.

Suffice to say, the referee’s attention turned away from Hall and McAvay and towards the two strip-…adult entertainers at ringside.

And of course, Dark and Stormy also got Hall’s attention. “HEY!” he said…er…Emo said. “I SAID NONE OF THIS BULL-*BLEEP* SHENANGIANS FROM YOUR WHORES TO-“

The crowd let out a roar as Escondido stood over an unconscious Rod Hall holding the Big Bertha Driver.   With the referee’s nose perched in the midst of Dark’s breasts, Escondido snuck over to the place he’d taken care to hide the driver underneath the ring before the show- just in case, slid into the ring behind Hall, and nailed him in the back of the head with the club. Hall was knocked out before he hit the mat. The Emo puppet dislodged from him and lay a few feet away from him.

McAvay pushed himself away from the ropes with a purpose. Ignoring Hall, he went right over to the puppet and picked it up off the mat. He held it up with one hand and with the crowd urging him on, placed the wooden head between his legs and piledrived Emo to the mat.

A thunder clap explosion of cheers from the crowd filled the arena when Emo’s head rolled away from his body- much to McAvay’s surprise. Escondido rolled Hall over and pointed to him. Then he rolled out of the ring and directed Dark and Stormy to cover up.

The referee turned around. McAvay had Hall pinned. The headless Emo puppet lay off to the side. Deciding not to attempt to piece what happened while he was preoccupied with getting up close and personal with Dark and Stormy’s chest and why Emo’s head was leaning against the corner ring post, the referee made the three count and raised McAvay’s hand in victory.

Berg then announces that Women’s Champion Lisa Barbosa-Stevens will take on I3W’s Women’s Champion…and former MVW Champion ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan and the MVW Tag Title will be on the line when champions The SEC: P.M.C. Banks and ‘Canadian Bad Boy’ Justin Beaver defend the belt against Weapons of Mass Destruction: A. Tom Bomb and Hy Drogen Bomb with Daisy Cutter-Bomb.

Blair Moise interviews TV Champion ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson about his match next week against Bo Stevens. Dickinson is not impressed with Stevens’s act. The champion states he is the three hundred thirty pound Southern Brawler and since he’s always up for a good fight he’ll more than oblige Stevens next Sunday night.

Main Event / 6 Woman Tag Team Match

The Sports Entertainment Corporation: Women’s Champion Lisa Barbosa-Stevens, Miley Vyrus, and Taylor Switt
The Hanson Sisters: Andrea, Charissa, and Andrea

Midway through the match, Yosemite Samantha hobbles out to ringside on her bad ankle and pulls Barbosa-Stevens off the ring apron. They brawl all over the place and leave Vyrus and Switt outnumbered against the Hanson Sisters. Referee Davey Keels throws out the match when the three Hansons goon it up and lay out both Vyrus and Switt as the show ends.

WINNER: Double Disqualification
