10/27 Missouri Valley Wrestling’s MVWA 78 Preview

Last week on MVW Sunday Night Wrestling:

‘Sinfully Delicious’ Dawn McGill tells Charlie Blackwell that if he does not give her an account of where her money is going she will fire him as her financial advisor. Blackwell tries to use the situation to persuade Dawn to join the SEC- she flatly refuses.

Men’s Champion ‘Tin Cup’ Ray McAvay steamrolls past the Millennial Man. Then at the contract signing for McAvay’s title defense at MVWA 78 against Blackwell, Charlie drops a bombshell by revealing that Ray had a one night stand with West Texas Adult Entertainment Legend Dark during the time he was separated from then-wife McGIll last year.

Bo Stevens interrupts ‘Cowboy’ Dan Butler’s promo and tells him that it’s his turn to have a TV title shot against ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson. Then Stevens and Ted Tebow- Tim Tebow’s long lost black sheep brother no one know ever existed, attack Butler.

The Sports Entertainment Corporation: P.M.C. Banks and ‘Canadian Bad Boy’ Justin Beaver punch their ticket to a title shot at MVWA 78 with a win over Perfectly Average Company: Average Joe and Brad Company.

SNAFU and Coach E.J. Flack come out next. Flack states the SNAFU has bided his time and waited patiently for his opportunity to get a TV title shot against Bill Dickinson- he should be next.

‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin defeats ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot to earn a title shot at MVWA 78 against Women’s champion Lisa Barbosa-Stevens.

The Kardoucheians invade Jill Berg’s office. They don’t want to put their world famous, highly rated reality show ‘Krampin’ Up with the Kardoucheians’ at risk during Khris Kardoucheian’s match with Dawn McGill at MVWA 78. Jill rejects their entreaties and tosses them out of his office.

Women’s Champion Lisa Barbosa-Stevens destroys Shea Ghackerman in half a minute. Barbosa-Stevens debuts her new finisher…the vintage Ken Shamrock version of the Ankle Lock.

Khris Kardoucheian reluctantly signs off on the contract for his match with McGill. McGill had signed off on the match earlier in the night.

This week: MVWA 78 at the St. Louis Convention Center in St. Louis, Missouri

Ninja Kitty vs. Yosemite Samantha vs. Regina McGill

Ninja Kitty and Yosemite Samantha won big matches last month at MVWA 77. Now, they’re trying to move themselves into Women’s title consideration. Ever since Regina McGill was dumped from the SEC in September, she’s been trying to find her way back. The winner of this match will get a leg up in their quest for a Women’s title shot.

The Beer Bellied Softball Playing Ninja: Hank and Tiny vs. Weapons of Mass Destruction: A. Tom Bomb and Hy Drogen Bomb

Still smarting following a loss to the WMD, the BBSPN have been trying to enact revenge on A-Bomb and H-Bomb without any luck. At MVWA 78, the two teams meet again in an Extreme Deathmatch which pretty much means anything goes.

Can the BBSPN get the payback they are looking for? Or will the WMD find a way to outfight and outsmart them again?

Bo Stevens vs. ‘No Frill’s Chris Escondido

Bo went to school in his match against ‘No Frills’ Chris Escondido at MVWA 77. At MVWA 78, Stevens looks to graduate by defeating Escondido outright and put himself in title contention.

Can Stevens take the next step up or does Escondido have one more big fight in him?

‘Sinfully Delicious’ Dawn McGill vs. Khris Kardoucheian

The Kardoucheians and McGill have been at odds since MVW CEO Jill Berg named McGill’s Island of Misfit Wrestlers (Rah and Halitosis) to be Missouri Valley Wrestling’s representatives at Four Corners Wrestling Tag Team tournament. The situation has grown more heated between both sides over the last few weeks and finally blew up in earnest last week when the challenge was thrown down. Mr. McMann came up with the stipulations for the match:
if Dawn McGill wins, the Kardoucheians have to QUIT their world famous and highly rated reality show ‘Krampin’ Up with the Kardoucheians.’
if Khris Kardoucheian wins, Dawn McGill must go out on a ‘dream date’ with Ken Kardoucheian to be filmed to air on ‘Krampin’ Up with the Kardoucheians’

McGill hasn’t wrestled in over two years. Khris Kardoucheian has never wrestled in his life. With so much riding on the match, can McGill somehow roll back the years and put an end to the Kardoucheian’s TV empire? Or will she be forced to be a part of the reality show?

Island of Misfit Wrestlers: Rah and ‘The Luchador with Insanely Poor Oral Hygiene’ Halitosis © vs. The Sports Entertainment Corporation: P.M.C. Banks and ‘Canadian Bad Boy’ Justin Beaver

The SEC brought in a big time wrestler in Scott Stevens to team with P.M.C. Banks but Dawn McGill saved the day for the Island of Misfit Wrestlers at MVWA 77. Now, Mr. McMann has signed Beaver as Banks’s tag team partner will an eye on dethroning the tag team champions.

Does McGill have one more miracle left in her or is this the end of the road for the Island of Misfit Wrestlers?

Lisa Barbosa-Stevens © of the SEC vs. ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin

At MVWA 76, Christa Carmondy broke through to finally win the title. At MVWA 77, Lisa Barbosa-Stevens did the same thing. Now at MVWA 78, is it Tessa Martin’s turn to win the Women’s title? Since aligning with the SEC, Barbosa-Stevens has exhibited a more aggressive style and now has the Ken Shamrock vintage Ankle Lock in her arsenal as a finisher. Since being replaced in the SEC by Barbosa-Stevens, Tessa has redoubled her focus on the reason she joined up with the SEC in the first place- one more run at the top.

Will Tess somehow find a way? Or will Barbosa-Stevens cement her hold on the MVW Women’s title?

‘Tin Cup’ Ray McAvay © vs. Charlie Blackwell of the Sports Entertainment Corporation

Two former friends and allies in the Les Miserables clash in a rematch from MVWA 77. Charlie Blackwell saw money signs and a chance to become financially secure when he stunned everyone by joining up with Mr. McMann’s Sports Entertainment Corporation. Now, he looks help fulfill the SEC’s corporate objectives by winning the Men’s title from McAvay. Blackwell has also found himself embroiled in a tug of war of sorts over his cousin/McAvay’s former wife Dawn McGill. Blackwell is angling to bring McGill into the SEC by cutting off her money. McAvay helped his ex-wife out by supporting her financially the past couple of weeks. Blackwell dropped a bomb on McAvay by revealing a one night stand with Dark last year. How will McAvay respond when both men step into the ring at MVWA 78?

Can Blackwell use the turmoil in McAvay’s life to take the Men’s title from him? Can McAvay block out the disorder enough to deny Blackwell his first ever title?

These questions and more will be answered at MVWA 78 on Bro-Slam tomorrow night.
