Final Go-Home Show Before Missouri Valley Wrestling Madness: 3/20 MVW House Show Report

Saturday night, Missouri Valley Wrestling kicked off the final weekend of action before this Sunday night’s Missouri Valley Wrestling Madness in Kearney, Nebraska.

SATURDAY MARCH 18TH – MVW HOUSE SHOW – KEARNEY, NE

Yosemite Samantha defeated ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot and the ‘Argenta Rose’ Eva Perrin @ 8:47
-the night started off with a three way dance where Harlot and Perrin seemed more interested in battling each other than dealing with Yosemite Samantha.   YS hit the piledriver to Lani for the win.

Bethany Stewart w/“Disco Loving, Jet Setting International Playboy from the East” Sheik Yorbouti (Young Guns) defeated Blake Varney @ 6:00
-Stewart picked up a solid win over Varney.

Post-match, Stewart and Sheik Yorbouti got down and danced to KC and the Sunshine Band’s “Get Down Tonight.”

Kathryn Randall Collins defeated Ninja Kitty @ 14:23
-KRC struggled early on to keep up with her ultra-quick opponent but slowly wore down the much lighter Ninja Kitty to score the win.

The O’Neders (Rita and Anita) defeat The Korver Sisters (Kelly and Korey) @ 16:31
-once again, the Korvers started off fast and the O’Neders closed hard at the end.

Lisa Barbosa-Stevens defeated Kari Ferguson (Main Street USA) via DQ @ 9:23
-back and forth match that ended when Christa Carmondy (Sports Entertainment Corporation) ran down to the ring and clobbered Barbosa-Stevens from behind and in the process got Ferguson disqualified.

This brought out MVW Executive Director Jill Berg. Berg told Carmondy that if she interfered again with Barbosa-Stevens that she would not be wrestling for a title shot at Arch Wrestling Madness.

MAIN EVENT: The Missouri Valley Fight Club: Harley Davisson and Carrieanne McDermott defeated Leah Iris and C.J. Lewis (Main Street USA) @ 11:11
-Davisson and McDermott get payback for a loss to Iris and Lewis last week and tune up for their title shot against Angels of Death at Arch Wrestling Madness.

SUNDAY MARCH 19TH – MVW HOUSE SHOW – OMAHA, NE

Sunday night saw former MVW Executive Director Dawn McGill start off the show in the ring to cut a promo. McGill admitted that the past year for her has been ‘difficult.’ She noted the one year anniversary of the infamous Rolla, Missouri after show party before last year’s Arch Wrestling Madness show and how it ultimately ruined her marriage to Ray McAvay. Dawn admitted that she royally screwed up and made poor choices. She’s owned up to them and even though Ray and her split up they still remain friends and committed parents to their children.

Dawn then addressed Tessa Martin. She congratulated Tess on winning the Heartland title. Dawn then stated she was bewildered that Tess kept in all that anger and resentment over something that happened eight years ago.

Dawn McGill: “I mean…if Tess is using that to fuel her…to push herself to become the best wrestler she can be…then, so be it.”

McGill lamented what appeared to be the end of her friendship with Tess but ‘it is what it is.’

Then…’Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann walked out. McMann seemed eager to relive what he called ‘fond memories’ of what happened in Rolla and on the video screen, photos taken in the hotel room that night cycled through- much to McGill’s dismay.

Mr. McMann: “Now that Tessa Martin has finally embraced what sports entertainment can do, she’s surpassed Dawn McGill in relevance. In fact, her pictorial is coming out and it’s long overdue. Based on some of the photos she took inside the hotel room. I think we’d all love to see a Dawn McGill pictorial- right?”

Some in the crowd agreed. McMann then held up a flimsy white top with ‘Assimilated’ written in front. He told Dawn this could be her. McGill shook her head no and turned to leave when Tessa jumped her from behind. This brought out Dawn’s sister Regina and Housewives of Chaos Major Svetlana Kovaleski and Dr. Annabel ‘From Hannibal’ Lecker.

Executive Director Jill Berg walked out and booked Tess versus Regina McGill later on in the show.

‘Argenta Rose’ Eva Perrin w/Colonel John Perrin defeated Anna Conda via DQ @ 4:45
-And so it began…’Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot tripped up Eva while she was running the ropes and referee Ron Martin called the match right there. Colonel Perrin tried to intervene and ended up with a boot to the groin for his trouble. Harlot locked Eva in the White Trash Compactor until the referee finally forced her to break the hold.

‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot defeated Kirsten Canfield via DQ @ 1:01
-Well? Both Eva and Colonel John Perrin paid Harlot back. Eva put Harlot in the Perrin Tap Out submission and referee Ron Martin threw the match out.

Jill Berg came out long enough to book Eva versus Lani for Arch Wrestling Madness.

Housewives of Chaos: Major Svetlana Kovaleski and Dr. Annabel ‘From Hannibal’ Lecker w/Dawn McGill defeat The O’Neders: Rita and Anita @ 19:33
-Match of the night. The O’Neders continued to fall into a pattern of starting slow and finishing fast. Except this time, they ran into Kovaleski’s Gory Bomb that decimated both O’Neders and paved the way for the HoC’s win.

Lisa Barbosa-Stevens defeated Yosemite Samantha @ 12:51
-no interference in this match from the SEC.

Post-match, Christa Carmondy (SEC) did walk out and had a stare down with Barbosa-Stevens.

NON-TITLE MATCH: MVW Champion Sheline Carrigan defeated Andrea Allen (Young Guns) @ 6:15
-Carrigan had little trouble with a game but overmatched Andrea Allen.

Christa Carmondy and Prisoner #034291 (SEC) vs. Missouri Valley Fight Club: Harley Davisson and Carrieanne McDermott- no contest @ 2:16
-this one really never got underway. MVW Tag Team Champions Angels of Death and Tessa Martin (SEC) hit the ring. Then Dawn and Regina McGill and Housewives of Chaos Kovaleski and Dr. Lecker jumped in and referee Davey Keels threw the match out.

MAIN EVENT/NON-TITLE MATCH: Heartland Champion Tessa Martin (Sports Entertainment Corporation) defeated Regina McGill w/Dawn McGill @ 11:17
-former friends turned enemies battled it out in a messy fracas that more resembled a bar brawl than a wrestling match. SEC allies Prisoner #034291 and Angels of Death helped Tess overcome a stiff challenge from Dawn’s kid sister and hit the Pizza Cutter for the win.

Again, Jill Berg appeared on stage and because of the SEC’s interference in the match, booked Tess to face Regina again at Arch Wrestling Madness in a non-title match.

Berg also formally announced the card for the show:
