MVW Champion Sheline Carrigan
The Canadian Cyborg came through with probably her best performance yet in MVW. After getting obliterated earlier in the night at the hands of the SEC during the Dawn McGill ceremony, Carrigan somehow fought back to defeat Christa Carmondy to continue her title reign. Carmondy walked into the ring with every possible advantage but once again couldn’t close the deal.

Christa Carmondy
Carmondy was inconsolable after her loss. She has been so close on numerous occasions in the past and with the events that went down Sunday night seemed to have a glide path to finally winning the title. Christa had everything in her favor. She had the SEC in her corner. She had a wounded champion. And yet, at the end of the night Sheline Carrigan left the ring still the MVW Champion.

Now the question is- what next? Because…

Lisa Barbosa-Stevens
Lisa staked her claim to a title shot with a win over Kathryn Randall Collins at MVWA 74. With Barbosa-Stevens back in the title mix, what will probably happen now she will battle it out with Christa Carmondy for the #1 contender spot and the title shot.

‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin
Tess gave the MVW fans the shocker of the evening when she turned on longtime friend and ally Dawn McGill during her appreciation ceremony over issues that apparently dated back to their time in Dream Wrestling Federation and improbably joined up with her long time arch enemy ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann and the SEC.

She was spotted leaving Kemper Arena Sunday night wearing a white t-shirt that said ‘ASSIMILATED’ on the front.

Dawn McGill, Daisy Cutter-Bomb, both Bayless Twins and MVW Executive Director Jill Berg all checked out okay Sunday night after being injured during the McGill Appreciation segment. Jill Berg will concentrate solely on running MVW and will not manage Sheline Carrigan going forward. Both Brandi and Wendi Bayless are taking time off to rest and regroup. It’s unclear what Daisy Cutter-Bomb’s future plans are.

It’s official, Disco Loving, Jet Setting International Playboy from the East” Sheik Yorbouti is returning to Missouri Valley Wrestling and will lead a young group of wrestlers once again (Andrea Allen, Bethany Stewart, and Adrienne Banks).

And, rumor has it that there will be a former MVW wrestler making her return this weekend.

This Weekend
Missouri Valley Wrestling heads down to Paducah, Kentucky for a Saturday night show.  Then on Sunday, MVW hits Evansville, Indiana.

We will start to see how the fallout from MVWA 74 shakes out. New alliances. New wrestlers. And Arch Wrestling Madness is 24 days away.
