At MVWA 72, the McGill-McMann saga comes to an end. Two days before the show, Dawn McGill returns as MVW Executive Director and is immediately confronted by Mr. McMann.
TERRE HAUTE, INDIANA – Missouri Valley Wrestling invaded the Hulman Center, the basketball home of Indiana State University, for the delayed MVWA 72 show on Sunday night. Two days after her dramatic return, Executive Director Dawn McGill set forth to once again steer MVW back on track and went out to the ring to start the show.
McGill again received a rousing ovation and reiterated her gratitude to not only the MVW locker room but also to the MVW fans for supporting and sticking by her during the difficult time. Dawn told the crowd she understood the responsibility entrusted upon her and promised to work hard to live up to the expectations. She told the fans that her first order of business will be to find a new television syndication deal to replace Heartland TV after the syndicator dropped MVW from their programming.
McGill was then interrupted by a defiant ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann who walked to the ring to an unmerciless drone of boos from the derisive MVW congregation in the Hulman Center. “We’ll always have Rolla,” he said. “Only in your dreams,” McGill shot back.
McMann denounced Bo Stevens as a ‘turncoat’ and ‘snitch’ for turning on him Friday night in Vincennes the week before and fired him from the SEC. McGill then announced that she had hired Stevens on as a road agent who would also assist “Disco Loving, Jet Setting International Playboy from the East” Sheik Yorbouti in working with the younger wrestlers.
Now agitated, McMann challenged McGill to a loser leaves Missouri Valley Wrestling match. Grinning, McGill shot his idea down and told the Sports Entertainment Genius “your ship has sailed.” Then McMann’s remaining hired gun, former SMU quarterback Timothy Allen Tebow (not THAT one), jumped McGill from behind. McMann joined in and McGill was caught in a two on one beat down. That is, until Bo Stevens and a woman come flying out from the back. That’s right, the pair raced down to the ring and made the save for McGill. After Dawn delivered a stiletto heel kick to McMann’s balls, she told him to “get the hell out of my ring and get the hell out of Missouri Valley Wrestling. You’re fired.”
Oh, and the woman who came down to the ring with Bo Stevens? Lisa Barbosa-Stevens…aka the wife of one Scott Stevens of High Octane Wrestling. McGill introduces Stevens as her latest signing.

MVWA 72 MATCHES:
Match 1: ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot (with the White Trash Posse) submitted ‘The Argenta Rose’ Eva Perrin (with Colonel John Perrin and the Descamisados) with the White Trash Compactor at 8:51
Harlot not only picked up a decisive win over her trailer trash rival, she may have put the Argenta Rose on the shelf for a bit. Perrin had to be helped from the ring holding her back in pain. She did manage to say “Don’t cry for me, Argenta. The truth is I’ll never leave you…”
Match 2: MVW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH- The Bayless Twins (Brandi and Wendi) © with the SEC defeated Angels of Death (Angel Casey and Angel Scott) with the Total Makeover at 16:23
Brandi and Wendi picked up their biggest victory with the SEC. With the departure of Mr. McMann, Phil Feinbaum seized the mantle of leader of the SEC and helped the Bayless Twins retain the Tag Titles in a wild match. Scott and Casey brought their A-game and the match had a great closing stretch. The AoD tried to take out Brandi with the Angel Death Drop but she countered out and sent Scott into the SEC corner. Daisy Cutter-Bomb leveled Scott with a forearm shiver to the back and Brandi and Wendi delivered the coup de grace with the Total Makeover.
After the match, Feinbaum crowed about the Bayless Twins’s effort against the four time tag team champions. “The Bayless Twins responded like you would respond to a fly on your hamburger at the July 4 company picnic. They just shooed the Angels of Death away and now they are really reeking of desperation right now.” Feinbaum also said, with or without Mr. McMann, the Sports Entertainment Consortium faction is better than anyone else’s faction in Missouri Valley Wrestling.
Match 3: MVW TITLE MATCH- ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan (with Jill Berg) © defeated Christa Carmondy via count-out
Carrigan dominated the match early on but Christa made a late comeback and nearly scored with the Mean Girl Crush. But Carrigan reversed and hit a belly to back suplex. Mean Girl Inc. (Jen and Steph) pulled Carmondy to the floor. Jill Berg went over to confront them. Both sides stared at each other and Jen and Steph charged at her. Berg hit a double clothesline on the floor. Christa tried to battle back to the ring but was counted out.
The crowd was hot after the match and Carrigan wanted to know why Carmondy involved her friends in the match. Christa said that it was all part of her plan. She said that she used the SEC to get the title shots that she deserved and it must burn everyone backstage up inside that she can still manipulate the situation to her advantage. Jill Berg chimed in and told Carmondy it’s embarrassing that Christa is still using outdated material from 2009. Berg told her she knows Christa’s waited six years to get another shot at the title and when she did failed to win again. Christa’s clique have been pumping her up for years and yet she still can’t get the job done. Christa smirked back and told Jill that Mean Girl Inc. were her insurance policy to keep Berg in check and soon enough she’ll have the last laugh.
