Missouri Valley Wrestling is pleased to announce this weekend’s Chi-Town Rebirth will be an official MVW show.

Jill Berg, MVW Executive Director, had this to say:

“I am delighted to finally reveal that MVW will return this weekend and will get back on the road and back to our roots. Hopefully, we can put our own unique spin on pro wrestling and find our niche at MVW. I want to express my appreciation to the Missouri Valley Wrestling Supporters Trust for standing by us and hopefully we won’t let him down.”

Berg also announce that MVWA 74 will take place on February 26th at the Knapp Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Regarding this weekend’s show:

“It’s an appropriate re-starting point as MVW will be picking up where we left off. The MVW Champion is Sheline Carrigan. The Tag Team Champions are Brandi and Wendi Bayless. And the Heartland Champion will be the winner of the Kari Ferguson-Prisoner #034291 match this weekend at Chi-Town Rebirth in Chicago. Seven match card. All three MVW titles will be on the line.”

The other title matches will feature the Bayless Twins (Wendi and Brandi) from the Sports Entertainment Corporation putting their MVW Tag Team titles on the line against former four time MVW tag champions Angels of Death (Angel Scott/Angel Casey).

And in the main event, MVW Champion Sheline Carrigan defends MVW’s top belt against challenger Christa Carmondy of Mean Girl Inc.

Carrigan and Carmondy put on a show in St. Louis this past weekend in a match that went all the way to a time limit draw. Carrigan has held the title since February 27th, 2016. Carmondy is a MVW original who’s knocked on the door several times but hasn’t been able to win the big match.
