This Week’s Missouri Valley Wrestling House Show Review
May 23rd, 2016

Coming Off Last Weekend:

New Television Champion
The big story that came from the weekend of Missouri Valley Wrestling action took place Saturday night when Regina McGill stunned Television champion Daisy Cutter-Bomb of the Sports Entertainment Consortium to win the title. Daisy nailed Regina with not one, but two Daisy Cutter Powerbombs and could have pinned her easily. But instead, Daisy chose to call out Regina’s sister and former Executive Director of MVW and did it backfire on the TV champion. Daisy made the mistake of leaning over the ropes to taunt Dawn- who wound up and slapped Daisy in the face.   The champion tried to go after Dawn but Regina hit a groin shot and then hit the McGill-Bomb to win the belt.

After throwing a huge tantrum Sunday afternoon before MVW’s matinee show in Marion, Indiana where he threw the purported ‘script’ of Saturday night’s show at acting Executive Director Jason Carmondy, ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann immediately booked a rematch between Regina McGill and Daisy Cutter-Bomb for Saturday night’s show in Champaign, Illinois.

Tag Team Title Contender’s
Mr. McMann also ‘reluctantly’ booked a number one contender’s match between two teams representing the Resistance- The Missouri Valley Fight Club (Carrieanne McDermott/Harley Davisson) versus Angels of Death (Angel Scott/Angel Casey) to settle the issue this Saturday afternoon show in Kankakee, Illinois.

Could McMann be trying to deflect the Resistance’s attention away from tormenting the SEC but booking the match between the two teams?

The winners faces the SEC’s Brandi and Wendi Bayless for their Tag Team Title at MVWA 72.

Kari Ferguson vs. The SEC
Last week, the SEC sent the ‘Argenta Rose’ Eva Perrin to the ring to face Ferguson for the Heartland Title. They didn’t count on Perrin’s arch-enemy ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot to muck up their plans. Harlot attacked Perrin during the match and got Ferguson disqualified. So Perrin won the match but didn’t win the Heartland Title back.

This week, Mr. McMann sends Perrin back out again to face Ferguson on Friday night’s show and Harlot has been banned from ringside. We’ll see how that works.

‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan vs. The SEC
With MVW Champion Carrigan versus the SEC’s Christa Carmondy booked and set for MVWA 72 for Missouri Valley Wrestling’s top title, last week Carrigan called out the SEC and engaged them with ‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris and Kathryn Randall Collins against the Bayless Twins and Christa Carmondy in a six woman tag match that went to a time limit draw.

What’s Up with Lt. Katrina Atcheson of the Highway Patrol?
For some strange reason, Lt. Atcheson tased Bethany Stewart after losing to the youngster Sunday night in Marion, Indiana.   After the show, Lt. Atcheson refused to elaborate why she attacked Stewart after the match. Stay tuned.

Wednesday May 18th – Special MVW Appearance at Chicago, IL
Disco Loving, Jet Setting International Playboy from the East, Sheik Yorbouti, oversaw the show featuring MVW’s young guns as they were showcased at Joe’s on Weed Street in downtown Chicago- a big, warehouse-like space, sports bar.

Match Results:
Jennifer Findley defeated Janice Henry
Paige Powers/Mitzi Meyers defeated Shelley Briscoe/MacKenzie MacWilliams
MAIN EVENT: Poison Penny/Carrieanne McDermott/Harley Davisson defeat Housewives of Chaos (Stacey Martin/Betsy Parker) and Anna Conda

Friday May 20th – MVW House Show at Decatur, IL
Match Results:
-‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas defeated MacKenzie MacWilliams

-Ninja Kitty defeated Maxie Perry

-Main Street USA’s CJ Lewis/Kirsten Canfield defeat Andrea Allen/Tori Thomas

-Bethany Stewart with “Disco Loving, Jet Setting International Playboy from the East” Sheik Yorbouti

defeated Gina Glitter

-The SEC’s ‘The Argenta Rose’ Eva Perrin with Colonel John Perrin defeated Harley Davisson of the Resistance

-Poison Penny of the Resistance defeated Main Street USA’s ‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris

-MAIN EVENT/HEARTLAND TITLE MATCH: Kari Ferguson © of Main Street USA vs. The SEC’s Prisoner #034291- no contest

The main event never got off the ground because “Disco Loving, Jet Setting International Playboy from the East” Sheik Yorbouti and his Young Guns (Bethany Stewart, Adrienne Banks, “High Flying Intercontinental Flight Attendant” Amie Velasco, Hannah and Katie Lancer) staged a pre match revolt against Mr. McMann over his continuous booking of SEC talent in the Heartland Title matches.

McMann sends out the rest of the SEC (Christa Carmondy, Daisy Cutter-Bomb, Brandi and Wendi Bayless, and Eva Perrin) to quell the disturbance which only invites the Resistance (Poison Penny, Carrieanne McDermott, Harley Davisson, ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot, Angel Scott and Angel Casey) to decloak from the audience

Saturday May 21st – MVW House Show at Champaign, IL
Match Results:
-HANDICAP MATCH/YOUNG GUNS BANNED FROM RINGSIDE: The SEC (Christa Carmondy, Daisy Cutter-Bomb, Brandi and Wendi Bayless, and Eva Perrin) defeated “Disco Loving, Jet Setting International Playboy from the East” Sheik Yorbouti (Obvious payback by Mr. McMann over Young Guns Bethany Stewart, Adrienne Banks, “High Flying Intercontinental Flight Attendant” Amie Velasco, Hannah and Katie Lancer’s interference in the main event the night before)

-Lt. Katrina Atcheson of the Highway Patrol with D.B. Ruff and Connor Justice aka Rough Justice- two former police officers fired because of their extreme brand of law enforcement, defeated “High Flying Intercontinental Flight Attendant” Amie Velasco

-Kathryn Randall Collins/Ninja Kitty defeat Anna Conda/Gina Glitter

-Main Street USA’s ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin defeated Adrienne Banks and ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas

-#1 CONTENDER’S MATCH/TAG TEAM TITLE: Angels of Death (Angel Scott/Angel Casey) defeat The Missouri Valley Fight Club (Carrieanne McDermott/Harley Davisson)- both of the Resistance

The first cracks form in the Resistance after a hard fought victory by the AoD. McDermott and Davisson gave their all in a twenty minute demolition derby but Scott and Casey pull off the win.

-TELEVISION TITLE MATCH: Main Street USA’s Regina McGill © defeated Daisy Cutter-Bomb of the SEC

For the second week in a row, former MVW Executive Director Dawn McGill gets involved in the match by preventing the Bayless Twins from interfering on DCB’s behalf and then Main Street USA (‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris/CJ Lewis/Kristen Canfield/Heartland Champion Kari Ferguson) forcibly eject the Tag Champs from ringside. Regina again hits the McGill-Bomb for the win.

-MAIN EVENT/NON-TITLE MATCH: MVW Champion ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan with Corporate Predator Extraordinaire Jill Berg defeated Prisoner #034291 of the SEC

If the intention of Mr. McMann was to soften Carrigan up for Christa Carmondy at MVWA 72, the plan backfired badly. Carrigan tore through Prisoner #034291 with ease and with the other SEC members tending to their wounds after the TV Title match, the MVW Champion dared Christa to step into the ring.

Sunday May 22nd – MVW House Show at Kankakee, IL
Match Results:
-Jennifer Findlay won a mini-battle royal over Maxie Perry, Terry Sargent, Robin The Wonder Girl, Desiree Davis, and Gwen Varney- Jennifer earns herself a Heartland Title shot.

-Young Gun’s Hannah and Katie Lancer defeat Andrea Allen/Tori Thomas

-Main Street USA’s CJ Lewis/Kirsten Canfield defeat Cheryl Parkman/Elaine Brazier

-The Korver Sisters (Kelly and Korey) defeat Backman Taylor Powerdrive (Charlene Backman/Brianna Taylor)

-Mr. McMann comes to the ring. He’s incensed that for the second week Dawn McGill- who was supposed to be gone from Missouri Valley Wrestling- stuck her nose into SEC business. Supposedly, the Saturday show was going to be her final appearance. McMann announces that he’s put a $25,000 bounty on the head of Dawn McGill to the person who brings her to MVWA 72 so she can face…Rough Justice in a handicap match. Lt. Katrina Atcheson of the Highway Patrol and D.B. Ruff and Connor Justice aka Rough Justice- two former police officers fired because of their extreme brand of law enforcement, all walk out having signed a short term agreement to work together on cleaning up MVW.

-NO DQ MATCH: Lt. Katrina Atcheson w/Rough Justice defeated Ninja Kitty (Ruff uses a taser on Ninja Kitty which slows her down considerably)

-MAIN EVENT/HEARTLAND TITLE MATCH: Kari Ferguson © defeated Jennifer Findlay

After the match, McMann dismisses Ferguson and Findlay so he can formally announce the MVWA 72 card:

MVW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: Brandi and Wendi Bayless © of the SEC vs. Angels of Death (Angel Scott/Angel Casey) from the Resistance

MVW TITLE MATCH: ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan © vs. the SEC’s Christa Carmondy
