This Week’s Missouri Valley Wrestling House Show Review
April 18th

COMING OUT OF LAST WEEKEND:
It was just about all-SEC, all the time as ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann and the Sports Entertainment Consortium dominated both house shows and administered heavy damage to their enemies (see Kari Ferguson, Regina McGill and Carrieanne McDermott). Word came down that the SEC will now have their own announcer to talk up the group- Phil Feinbaum and the group is looking to add on another member.

But not everything went exactly to plan. Ninja Kitty outwitted the SEC and defeated Prisoner #034291 twice in one show to win the MVW Heartland title and managed to escape the building with the belt. She was lucky.

Executive Director Dawn McGill, who inexplicatively gave Mr. McMann carte blanche to book matches, and was ‘escorted’ to the arena both nights by heavy security, reportedly fought back at McMann and the SEC by clandestinely allowing Main Street USA into the arena on Saturday night. Unfortunately, Main Street USA (Christa Carmondy, ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin, C.J. Lewis, and Kirsten Canfield spent Saturday night in jail after defying Mr. McMann’s ‘edict’ banning them from the arena. Regina McGill then showed up in Mount Vernon the next night in handcuffs and looking like she’d been through a war. Then Dawn McGill was brought out- her punishment being forced to watch Regina get destroyed in a handicap match against all of the SEC.

And then there’s the MVW Champion Sheline Carrigan. She was exiled to the opening match of the night on Saturday and spent the weekend throwing monkey wrenches into Mr. McMann’s grand plans- including interrupting a ‘Wet T-shirt contest’ masquerading as the main event Sunday night involving the rookies.

Speaking of the Resistance, Carrieanne McDermott and Harley Davisson of the Missouri Valley Fight Club were spotted outside the arena Sunday in deep conversation with Poison Penny. It appears the Green World Order may have made their final appearance in MVW last Saturday and Penny may be joining forces with the MVFC to fight back against Mr. McMann…and Dawn McGill.

Wednesday April 13th – Special MVW Appearance at Chicago, IL

Disco Loving, Jet Setting International Playboy from the East Sheik Yorbouti was on hand to oversee the show in place of Dawn McGill as MVW’s young guns were showcased at Joe’s on Weed Street in downtown Chicago- a big, warehouse-like space, sports bar.

Match Results:
Bethany Stewart defeated Tori Thomas
Shelley Briscoe defeated Mitzi Meyers
Paige Powers/Kari Ferguson defeated Housewives of Chaos (Stacey Martin/Betsy Parker)
MAIN EVENT: ‘The Argenta Rose’ Eva Perrin with Colonel John Perrin defeated Gina Glitter (formerly the GWO’s Code Pink)

Friday April 15th – MVW House Show at Grand Forks, ND

Missouri Valley Wrestling headed north for a three day swing through North Dakota. Again, MVW’s Executive Director Dawn McGill arrived on site accompanied by two heavy hitting security guards who whisked her past the waiting crowd hoping to get an autograph outside the Purpur Gambucci Arena. McGill then slipped into the back door of the arena with her minders in tow.

Inside the arena, there was a clear divide between the fans concerning the ‘adjustments’ McGill or Mr. McMann had made to the product. Folks like MVW Supporter’s Trust Fans Representative to the Board Terry from Ada, Oklahoma were one hundred percent behind the changes. But the majority of the fans seemed to reject out of hand the sports entertainment elements being force fed into the show.

The division became glaringly evident when MVW’s ring announcer Kimber Marshall walked to the ring and actually said the following words: “Referee Ron Martin says Dr. Vandenberg is not allowed to use her ‘special powers’ inside the ring.”

Match Results:
**Dr. Emma Vandenberg defeated Kari Ferguson when Ferguson choked herself out.

-that’s right. Dr. Emma Vandenberg, the showroom hypnotist who normally plied her trade at bars, clubs, and state fairs, and last seen at MVWA 69 the doctor ‘hypnotized’ McGill and allowed Mr. McMann and the Sports Entertainment Consortium to hijack the show.   Suffice to say, Dr. Vandenberg did the same thing to Ferguson- whom Mr. McMann unceremoniously drummed out of the SEC a few months back, and used her ‘powers’ to make the young wrestler throw herself head first into the corner, slam her head into the turnbuckle repeatedly, and then choke herself out. Terry from Ada and his group of supporters stood up and cheered. The rest of the fans booed Dr. Vandenberg’s win but then roared when The Resistance (Poison Penny, Carrieanne McDermott, and Harley Davisson) jumped out of the crowd and attacked her. McDermott rocked Dr. Vandenberg with a Glasgow Handshake. Davisson dropped her with the Kick Stand. And Poison Penny turned out her lights with her Poison Kiss.

-this brought the SEC (MVW Tag Team Champions Brandi and Wendi Bayless, Television Champion Daisy Cutter-Bomb, ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas, and Prisoner #034291 down to the ring in a hurry. But by the time they arrived on scene, the Resistance melted back into the crowd.

**Bethany Stewart/Shelley Briscoe made their house show debut and defeated Gwen and Blake Varney. Briscoe hit Gwen with the Fisherman’s Suplex for the win.

**‘The Argenta Rose’ Eva Perrin (with Colonel John Perrin) defeated Tori Thomas with the Perrin Tap Out (modified White Trash Compactor) submission.

-post match, ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot and the White Trash Posse (Shayne, Jaxson, and Bobby Rickie) skirmished with Perrin and her ‘descamisados’ (shirtless ones) over who was the REAL queen of the trailer park.

**Hannah and Katie Lancer defeat Andrea Allen/Desiree Davis- Hannah pinned Davis with the Lancer’s Pointe

– post match, the MVW Tag Team Champions Brandi and Wendi Bayless along with ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas and Prisoner #034291 of the SEC came to the ring and attacked the Lancers. Brandi then grabbed a microphone and proclaimed that she and Wendi have upgraded the tag team division with their title reign and the Lancers just don’t make the cut. She announced their next opponents at MVWA 71 and out walks…Housewives of Chaos? Stacey Martin and Betsy Foster, formerly the Divorcees with Dangerous Intent? Wendi echoed Brandi’s claim that the Bayless twins have done so much for the division compared to the previous champions, ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin and ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas and totally ignored the Housewives of Chaos. Wendi said Martin was nothing and Dallas finally realized it and dropped her like a bad habit to join the SEC. Brandi added that now people actually know who ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas is.

-then, Dallas took the mic and demanded that MVW Champion Sheline Carrigan “do the right thing” and give her a title shot at MVWA 71. This brought out the MVW Champion and her manager/advocate Jill Berg. Jill openly scoffed at Dallas and told her she doesn’t have time for her. Berg rebutted Dallas’s demand and added she needs to put in some work behind the scenes, actually win a few matches, and then she may earn a title shot. Dallas became irate and claimed to be the number one contender for the title. She called the rest of the non-SEC contenders pathetic lost sheep.

-the SEC head to the back where suddenly, Angels of Death (Angel Scott/Angel Casey) jumped the rail and blindsided the MVW Tag Team Champions. Then again, The Resistance (Poison Penny, Carrieanne McDermott, and Harley Davisson) attacked the Texas Cowgirl and Prisoner #034291. Daisy Cutter-Bomb rushed out only to get planted with the ADD (Angel Death Drop) by the AoD. Security appeared and all five women again jumped back into the crowd and disappeared.

**‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris defeated Anna Conda with the Pittsburgh Plunge.

**’THE Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot (with the White Trash Posse) defeated ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin with the White Trash Compactor.

-Harlot is then attacked post-match by Eva Perrin and her ‘descamisados’ in response to Harlot’s earlier run-in with the Argenta Rose.

-‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann and the SEC assemble in the ring in advance of tonight’s main event- a rematch of last week’s match between Prisoner #034291 and new Heartland Champion Ninja Kitty. McMann congratulated Ninja Kitty for escaping from the arena last week with MVW’s ‘House Title’ but added that fairy tale endings are just that- fairy tales. McMann said reality returns this week and Prisoner #034291 will regain the Heartland Title.   Then McMann added the kicker: if ANYONE interfered during the match on Ninja Kitty’s behalf, she would automatically lose the title back to Prisoner #034291. “No more fluke wins!” McMann proclaimed. Then out of nowhere, The Resistance hit the ring on all four sides.

-Poison Penny and Carrieanne McDermott make a frontal assault on the SEC. Angel Scott attacked from the left flank. Angel Casey from the right flank. And Harley Davisson, with the Heartland Champion Ninja Kitty came in from behind. A brawl ensued between both sides inside and then outside the ring. An angry Mr. McMann managed to escape the scrum and grabbed an open microphone from Kimber Marshall. He demanded that Referee Davey Keels award the Heartland Title to Prisoner #034291 because of outside interference. Keels took the microphone back from McMann and calmly explained to him that because the match had not began, his stipulation would not apply. Keels then declared a no-contest and Ninja Kitty retained the title.

**MAIN EVENT/HEARTLAND TITLE MATCH: Ninja Kitty © vs. Prisoner #034291- no contest

-Keels then left the ringside area and left Mr. McMann standing dumbfounded at the turn of events.

Saturday April 16th – MVW House Show at Fargo, ND

Night two took place at the FargoDome, home of North Dakota State’s Division I-AA championship football teams and quarterback Carson Wentz- future first round NFL draft choice. Just over 6,000 people attended the show, a decent showing at the 19,000 capacity facility, with the billed main event pitting Television Champion Daisy Cutter-Bomb against ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot for the TV belt.

Again, Executive Director Dawn McGill was ‘escorted’ to the arena by two burly hired security personnel and followed in a few minutes later by Mr. McMann- the purported power behind the scenes pushing his sports entertainment agenda, and the SEC.

And like last weekend, McMann decided to tweak MVW Champion Sheline Carrigan by making her open the show.

Match Results:
**MVW Champion Sheline Carrigan (with Jill Berg) defeated Lt. Katrina Atcheson of the Kansas Highway Patrol with the Canadian Destroyer

-post match, ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas led the SEC charge to ringside. Jill Berg hit her patented spinning heel kick that sent Dallas corkscrewing to the mat. Carrigan decked Daisy Cutter Bomb but Brandi Bayless clipped the champion’s knee and then Prisoner #034291 drove her to the mat with a two handed choke slam. Berg sent Wendi Bayless rumbling and stumbling through the ropes with another spinning heel kick but then found herself in the two handed clutches of Prisoner #034291. One two handed choke slam later, Jill was bundled up in a heap on the mat and then tossed out of the ring. With Berg out of the way, the SEC went to work on Carrigan. The Bayless twins set her up for a Total Makeover but then…

-from the crowd, the Resistance (Poison Penny, Carrieanne McDermott, Harley Davisson, and Angels of Death) decloaked and jumped the rail. The AoD went right after the Bayless Twins. Brandi and Wendi took one look at the onrushing Angels and quickly rolled out of the ring. McDermott Glasgow Handshaked Dallas. Davisson dropped Daisy Cutter-Bomb like a shot with a right hand to the jaw. And Poison Penny leaped on Prisoner #034291 and planted her with a Poison Kiss. It took a little longer for her to collapse but she did soon enough. Once again, security was dispatched to the ring. Once again, the Resistance recloaked into the confines of the FargoDome crowd on hand.

**ELIMINATION MATCH: Housewives of Chaos (Stacey Martin/Betsy Parker) defeated The Lancer Sisters (Hannah and Katie) and Adrienne Banks/’High Flying Intercontinental Flight Attendant’ Amie Velasco- Martin pinned Hannah after Parker smacked her with a kendo stick while the referee’s back was turned. Hannah Lancer eliminated Banks earlier in the match with the Lancer’s Pointe.

**The Korver Sisters (Kelly and Korey) defeat Maxie Perry/Terry Sargent- Kelly pinned Sargent after the Korver Krusher

**Carrieanne McDermott/Harley Davisson of the Resistance vs. Main Street USA (CJ Lewis/Regina McGill)- no contest

-this one never got started. Neither McDermott and Davisson nor Lewis and McGill made it to the ring thanks to a security crackdown backstage that scoured every inch of space looking for the Resistance.   Enraged at the Resistance’s attack on the SEC earlier in the night, McMann sent out the SEC’s new mouthpiece- Phil Feinbaum. Feinbaum said he’s privileged to cover the SEC and thanks the fans. Terry from Ada, Oklahoma and his group stand and cheer. Feinbaum says the SEC is the elite of the elite in Missouri Valley Wrestling and praised ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas for becoming the #1 contender for the MVW title. The crowd then began to chant for the Resistance. Feinbaum then said: “the Resistance has become the Donald Trump of Missouri Valley Wrestling. At first, their act was mildly entertaining. Now, I find them increasing annoying. They’ve hijacked MVW. The Resistance is all about the Resistance and I, for one, am really getting sick of them.”

-security eventually gave up trying to find the Resistance and the show finally continued.

**Main Street USA’s Christa Carmondy defeated ‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris with the Mean Girl Crush.

**Kathryn Randall Collins defeated the SEC’s ’Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas via DQ

-Dallas came to the ring with McMann’s hired guns Bo Stevens, from the great Stevens wrestling family, and Timothy Allen Tebow- (HINT: …not THAT one.) …former SMU quarterback who’s trying overcome his name to find his own success…aka T-BO. KRC was in control of the match and about to win when Stevens and Tebow ran-in and pulled her off Dallas. Referee Davey Keels immediately called for the bell and KRC declared the winner.

-Keels was also supposed to referee the main event but Mr. McMann came to the ring and told him per Dawn McGill’s orders that a special referee had been assigned to the match. Out came Phil Feinbaum dressed in a referee’s shirt. You could tell by Harlot’s expression she knew she was screwed.

**MAIN EVENT/TELEVISION TITLE MATCH: Daisy Cutter-Bomb © of the Sports Entertainment Consortium defeated ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot (with the White Trash Posse) via DQ- with special referee Phil Feinbaum of the SEC.

-a good ten minute match ruined when Feinbaum disqualified Harlot because Shayne from the White Trash Posse allegedly tripped her up. Now, a replay review showed that Harlot had whipped DCB into the ropes near her corner. DCB came off the ropes and appeared to blatantly dive to the mat like an professional soccer player would. Shayne was nowhere near her. Feinbaum immediately disqualified Harlot and made a hasty exit from the ring when the Queen of the Trailer Park charged him.

-then, ‘the Argenta Rose’ Eva Perrin hit the ring with a chair and blasted Harlot in the head. The White Trash Posse then raced at her and Perrin took out all three with chair shots, standing tall as the show came to an end.

Sunday April 17th, 2016 – MVW House Show at Bismarck, ND

So it was onward to Sunday and the final show of the weekend in the capital city of North Dakota, Bismarck. Usually, the Sunday shows are little less frenetic and eventful which gives some of the other wrestlers who aren’t in the main event scene a little time to shine.

Again, Executive Director Dawn McGill arrived with her two bodyguard escort and silently entered the back door of the Bismarck Event Center.

Match Results:
**Adrienne Banks/’High Flying Intercontinental Flight Attendant’ Amie Valesco (with Disco Loving, Jet Setting International Playboy from the East Sheik Yorbouti) defeat Backman Taylor Powerdrive (Charlene Backman/Brianna Taylor)- Valesco pinned Backman after hitting the Kamikaze Dive

**Gina Glitter (formerly Code Pink of the Green World Order) defeated Elaine Brazier with the Glitter Bomb

**Lt. Katrina Atcheson of the Kansas Highway Patrol defeated Paige Powers and Bethany Stewart- Atcheson pinned Stewart after hitting the C4.

-then the fun began, ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann strolled out to the ring with the rest of the SEC to announce the next match. ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas versus Kari Ferguson. McMann had an evil grin on his face when Dallas came to the ring accompanied by Dr. Emma Vandenberg- the showroom hypnotist who normally plied her trade at bars, clubs, and state fairs. Dr. Vandenberg had also ‘hypnotized’ Ferguson Friday night because Mr. McMann held a huge grudge against the young wrestler and simply wouldn’t let things go.

**‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas defeated Kari Ferguson after Dr. Vandenberg again made her choke herself out.

-post match, SEC announcer Phil Feinbaum came out to interview Dallas. He lauded her on ‘exposing’ Kari Ferguson for the SEC washout that she was. The Texas Cowgirl began to answer but once again the SEC found themselves in the cross hairs of the Resistance. Dallas bails. The Tag Team Champions The Bayless Twins haul ass to the back. Prisoner #034291 and Television Champion Daisy Cutter-Bomb also managed to escape. Mr. McMann also eluded the Resistance. But Phil Feinbaum? Not so lucky. Feinbaum found himself trapped in the corner with Poison Penny, Carrieanne McDermott, Harley Davisson, and Angels of Death (Angel Scott/Angel Casey) looking at him like lions look at fresh meat. McDermott Glasgow Handshaked him. Davisson threw Feinbaum across the ring and the AoD hit the A.D.D. (Angel Death Drop). And then Poison Penny finished him off with the Poison Kiss.

-Mr. McMann grabbed a microphone and asked the Resistance a few questions. Why did they have to do that to Phil Feinbaum? Why were they continually sticking their nose in SEC affairs? And finally, what exactly did they want? Poison Penny made it clear what the Resistance wanted and pointed right at Mr. McMann. “You want me in that ring?” McMann asked her to clarify. All five members of the Resistance nodded affirmatively. McMann said fine. One night only. He’ll give them what they want. Handicap match. The Resistance versus Mr. McMann. No interference from the SEC. Deal? The five Resistance members conferred and warily agreed.

**The Korver Sisters (Kelly and Korey) defeat Housewives of Chaos (Stacey Martin/Betsy Parker)- Kelly pinned Parker after hitting the Korver Krusher.

**MVW Tag Team Champions The Bayless Twins defeat Gwen and Blake Varney- non-title match- Brandi and Wendi hit Total Makeover on Gwen Varney for the win.

**MVW Champion Sheline Carrigan defeated Tori Thomas with the Canadian Destroyer.

-then it was Main Event time. All five members of the Resistance gathered in the ring ready for anything. Mr. McMann came out- NOT dressed for a wrestling match. McMann explained he had a chance to think and came to the conclusion that in the end, the person with the ultimate say in everything that goes on in Missouri Valley Wrestling…including allowing Main Street USA and others to interfere with the SEC…is Dawn McGill. She’s in charge and ultimately the buck stops with her.

-the two security guards force McGill to go to the ring. She’s dressed in her business attire, a black coat, white shirt, black pants, black boots.

**MAIN EVENT: The Resistance (Poison Penny/Carrieanne McDermott/Harley Davisson/Angel Scott/Angel Casey) defeat Dawn McGill

-McGill, who hadn’t been in the ring in a competitive match since before her total knee reconstruction surgery last summer, fired off a couple right hands and then Davisson hacked her down with the Kick Stand. McDermott hit the Glasgow Handshake next and berated McGill for taking her out of the TV Title match at Arch Wrestling Madness. Angels of Death hit the A.D.D. and then shout at McGill over the stipulation change McGill made to their match with the Bayless Twins at Arch Wrestling Madness. And then Poison Penny- pissed that ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas had been added to the MVW Title match at Arch Wrestling Madness and not her, mercifully ended the match with a long, slow Poison Kiss to McGill on the mat that left her gurgling out green stuff. Medical personnel rushed down to the ring to attend to her as the show came to an end.
