Missouri Valley Wrestling House Show Review- March 14th

Last week, seeds were sown.

Christa Carmondy admitted she screwed up at MVWA 70 and pushed hard for a third match against Poison Penny. Poison Penny wasn’t interested and eyed a potential MVW title shot against the new champion ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan. But former MVW champion Kathryn Randall Collins beat Penny to the punch and exercised the rematch clause that gives her the title shot at Arch Wrestling Madness.

MVW Tag Team champions Lingerie Girls Brandi and Wendi Bayless told the four time tag team champions Angels of Death that they’ll give them a title shot at Arch Wrestling Madness but only if they survive four weeks of gauntlet matches. This will be week number two.

Acting Executive Director Jason Carmondy returned this weekend after a family emergency to oversee the trio of weekend shows on tap. The weekend kicked off Friday night at the Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Friday March 11th – MVW House Show at Lawrenceburg, Indiana

Main Street USA’s Christa Carmondy started the show in grand style by once again challenging Poison Penny- leader of the Green World Order, to a third match. Carmondy told Kovaleski that he felt, and Dawn McGill felt, there was one rookie wrestler ready to face her. Kovaleski asks who?

-suddenly, Kari Ferguson attacked her from behind. She tackled Kovaleski and started unloading rights and lefts on the Heartland champion. Finally Kovaleski pushed her away and rolled from the ring.

Poison Penny defeated ‘By the Book’ Tiana Walker with the Poison Kiss

-post match, Penny again rejected a third match with Christa Carmondy, saying: “She doesn’t wrestle cheaters”- referring to the MVWA 70 match where Carmondy was disqualified for using the ropes to pin her.

MAIN EVENT/TELEVISION TITLE MATCH: ‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris © defeated Code Pink of the Green World Order with the Pittsburgh Plunge.

Iris started the show in the ring, still pissed off over McDermott’s sneak attack the night before. She said she wasn’t afraid of McDermott and dared her to come to the ring. The Scot complied and a stare off followed. This brought out…
