This Week’s Missouri Valley Wrestling House Show Review with Dawn McGill
February 21st

Regina McGill is again handling the Run Sheet this week for her sister.

This weekend, Missouri Valley Wrestling travels through the great state of Kansas as the final touches to next Saturday’s MVWA 70 card will be made.

Coming out of last weekend’s shows, former MVW Tag Team Champions ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin and ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas’s partnership came to an unceremonious end in Scottsbluff, Nebraska Sunday night. Dallas then joined Mr. McMann’s Sports Entertainment Consortium, taking the place of the ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan.

Speaking of Carrigan, Corporate Predator Extraordinaire Jill Berg was seen exiting her dressing room fueling rumors that the ‘Canadian Cyborg’ was prepared to put aside her differences and ready to rehire Berg as her manager.

Svetlana Kovaleski returned to MVW and made life hell for the younger wrestlers on the roster, feeling that they haven’t ‘paid their dues.’

After butting heads the past two weekends, MVW Television Champion Leah Iris and Carrieanne McDermott signed on the dotted line and will meet each other at the Topeka, Kansas house show.

Friday February 19th – MVW House Show at Hays, KS

The weekend got underway at Fort Hays State University’s Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays, Kansas. Just over 3,000 turned up for the first of three Kansas shows.

Match results:
Ninja Kitty defeated Brenda B with the Pounce

Svetlana Kovaleski defeated Kirsten Canfield with the Gory Special.

-post match, Kovaleski put Canfield in the Gory Special again and then fell back and face planted the Wichita State sophomore to the mat. This brought out fellow youngsters Adrienne Banks, Kari Ferguson, and Katie Lancer to the ring prompting the Russian to make her exit.

Adrienne Banks/Kari Ferguson/Katie Lancer defeat Gwen Varney/Blake Varney/Tina Davis- Banks pinned Davis with a Schoolgirl roll up.

-post match, Prisoner #034291 from the Sports Entertainment Consortium stormed the ring and delivered two handed choke slams to Banks, Ferguson, and Lancer. ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann led the rest of the SEC (‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas/Heartland Champion Daisy Cutter-Bomb/Tag Team Champions Lingerie Girls Brandi and Wendi Bayless with Bo Stevens and Timothy Allen Tebow) to the ring and had harsh words for acting MVW Director Jason Carmondy and his booking.

-McMann proclaimed that his new wrestler ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas, “a former tag team champion, thank you very much!” McMann crowed, should be the number one contender for the MVW title and not (former SEC member) Sheline Carrigan. McMann also complained that Television Champion ‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris has had it too easy and needs the serious competition that Daisy Cutter-Bomb would give her.

-This brought Carmondy out along with a special guest- MVW Director (on maternity leave) Dawn McGill. McGill, making her first MVW appearance since giving birth to twins over two weeks ago, immediately addressed McMann’s booking complaints by asking him: “Who the hell died and made you the Supreme Arbiter of Best Booking Practices?” McGill snapped at McMann that he had a shot at booking much of MVWA 69 and it didn’t work. She then handed the microphone to Carmondy who got to the business of announcing a three way number one contender’s match tomorrow night in Topeka, Kansas with the winner going on to face MVW Champion Kathryn Randall Collins at MVWA 70.

-The contestants: Christa Carmondy, ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan, and ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas.

The Missouri Valley Fight Club (Carrieanne McDermott/Harley Davisson) defeat The Green World Order (Code Pink/Emily S. List) via DQ after Code Pink Glitter Bombs Davisson.

-Incensed by the DQ, the GWO attacked McDermott and Davisson after the match. Former MVW Champion Poison Penny rolled in and Poison Kissed McDermott and then Davisson.

-Penny then got on the microphone and complained about MVW’s blatant disrespect towards the GWO. Penny claimed it was a ‘travesty’ that she was not included in the number one contender’s match in Topeka and also alleged that acting MVW Director Jason Carmondy was favoring his sister over the GWO. She tells Christa, Carrigan, and Dallas that they’d better have eyes in the back of their heads because she’s coming for each and every one of them.

Lt. Katrina Atcheson of the Kansas Highway Patrol versus Anna Conda goes to a time limit draw.

-Main Street USA (Christa Carmondy/Regina McGill/CJ Lewis/Kirsten Canfield) come to the ring. Carmondy said that everyone is sick and tired of the SEC coming out and trying to throw their weight around. Christa recounted that she watched what went down last week with the ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas and the ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin and the first thing she did after the show was call Tess. Carmondy said that she was pleased to announce the newest member of Main Street USA…Lenny Kravitz’s “Dig In” blared over the sound system and out walked the Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl.

HEARTLAND TITLE MATCH: Daisy Cutter-Bomb © (of the SEC) vs. ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin (Main Street USA) goes to a no contest when both the SEC and Main Street USA invade the ring and set off a brawl.

-it takes security a few minutes to separate the two teams so the main event can take place.

MAIN EVENT: MVW Champion Kathryn Randall Collins/Television Champion Leah Iris/Regina McGill defeat the Sports Entertainment Consortium (MVW Tag Team Champions Lingerie Girls Brandi and Wendi Bayless/Prisoner #034291)

-post match, a second brawl ensued as the SEC and Main Street USA rush the ring again. Then the Green World Order raced down to join the fray as the show came to an end.

Saturday February 20th, 2016- MVW House Show at Topeka, KS

The big show of the weekend saw MVW run the Kansas Expocentre on a Saturday night with a lot riding on the results. A crowd of around 5,500 came to see a huge three way dance, #1 contender’s match for a shot next Saturday at the MVW title. Would it be Christa Carmondy’s time? Or ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas? Or maybe the ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan?

Plus, ‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris would put her Television title on the line against Carrieanne McDermott

Hannah and Katie Lancer defeat Gwen and Blake Varney- Hannah pins Gwen

-Svetlana Kovaleski came out and again attacked the Lancers after the match, laying out both Hannah and Katie with Gory Specials into a backside Facebuster.

Soccer Mom returned to Missouri Valley Wrestling and the Green World Order and defeated Elaine Brazier with a Sleeper Hold.

Kari Ferguson/Adrienne Banks defeat ‘By the Book’ Tiana Walker/Amy Mason via DQ.

-again, Svetlana Kovaleski ran in and attacked the youngsters Ferguson and Banks. Walker and Mason simply left the ring, allowing Kovaleski to Gory Special Ferguson and then hit a backside Facebuster. Kovaleski was about to repeat the process with Banks but a Sheik suddenly appeared- which totally confused the hell out of everyone.

-the sheik…aka Sheik Yorbouti, the Disco Loving, Jet Setting International Playboy from the East, danced down to the ring to the music of KC and the Sunshine Band’s ‘Shake Your Booty’ where he broke out a few moves right out of the classic seventies movie Saturday Night Fever…which confused everyone even more. Yorbouti toddled to the ring and wanted to know why Kovaleski is abusing MVW’s rookie wrestlers.

-a bemused Kovaleski didn’t quite know how to react to the Sheik so she simply left the ring. After the Russian departed, Yerbouti told the sound people to ‘hit the music’ and the Bee Gee’s ‘Stayin’ Alive’ came on. Yorbouti, Ferguson, and Banks began to dance in the ring- they were then joined by Kirsten Canfield and the Lancer Sisters.

‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot defeated Kansas Highway Patrol’s Lt. Katrina Atcheson with the White Trash Compacter.

Regina McGill/C.J. Lewis of Main Street USA defeat Code Pink/Emily S. List from the Green World Order- McGill gets the pin with the Pepsi Plunge on List.

-post match, Code Pink Glitter Bombed McGill and a skirmish broke out between Main Street USA and the Green World Order which transitioned into the next match.

TELEVISION TITLE MATCH: ‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris © defeated Carrieanne McDermott of the Missouri Valley Fight Club with the Pittsburgh Plunge.

-more chaos following Iris’s win and for once it didn’t have anything to do with Main Street USA, the SEC, or the GWO. Harley Davisson of the MVFC jumped Iris after the match and holds her for McDermott to give her a Glasgow Handshake. Order is quickly restored when the MVFC leave Iris in the ring.

MAIN EVENT/#1 CONTENDER’S MATCH-MVW TITLE: ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan defeated Christa Carmondy (Main Street USA) and ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas (Sports Entertainment Consortium)- Carrigan hit the Canadian Destroyer on Carmondy after Poison Penny (GWO) Poison Kissed her while at the same time ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin (Main Street USA) laid out ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas with a Pizza Cutter. Carrigan threw Penny out of the ring and then pinned both Carmondy and Dallas at the same time to claim the win.

-a furious ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann confronted referee Davey Keels afterwards only to eat a Pizza Cutter from Tessa Martin. Main Street USA, the SEC, and the GWO hit the ring for yet another scrum causing security to stream to the ring as the show came to an end.

How would acting MVW Director Jason Carmondy sort this mess out?

Sunday February 21st, 2016- MVW House Show at Emporia, KS

With the Green World Order (Poison Penny/Code Pink/Emily S. List/Peta from PETA/Soccer Mom) protesting the exclusion of Poison Penny from the previous evening’s number one contender’s match as the backdrop, Jason Carmondy entered the WL White Civic Auditorium for Sunday afternoon’s matinee show already having made a couple of command decisions.

Carmondy first sent ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan and MVW Champion Kathryn Randall Collins home to protect the main event of next week’s MVWA 70 show.

Second, he met with Poison Penny backstage and warned her he did not want any of the same problems that marred the show the night before in Topeka. In return, Carmondy told Penny that if she co-operated with him, she would face Christa Carmondy next Saturday at MVWA 70 to settle their differences once and for all. Penny accepted so now two matches were confirmed for MVWA 70.

Third, he called ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin and ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas in and told both to stay away from each other and they would get to settle their differences next week at MVWA 70. Grudgingly, Martin and Dallas accepted Carmondy’s terms- three matches confirmed for MVWA 70.

So, with all that work done, that meant the show would run smoothly then, right?

Kari Ferguson defeated Ninja Kitty via DQ when Svetlana Kovaleski ran down and attacked Ferguson.

-post match, the Disco Loving, Jet Setting International Playboy from the East. Sheik Yorbouti, led Adrienne Banks, and Hannah and Katie Lancer down to make the save. Kovaleski fled the ring again and shouted at Sheik Yerbouti to ‘mind his own business.’ Yorbouti responded by challenging Kovaleski to a ‘dance-off’ which completely flummoxed the Russian who then turned on her heel and marched to the back. Yorbouti then danced in the ring with Ferguson, Banks, the two Lancer sisters, and Ninja Kitty.

Adrienne Banks defeated Mama Mia with a Figure Four Leglock.

Hannah and Katie Lancer defeat the Pinups (Sabrina James/Alicia Rowe) when Katie pinned Sabrina James after hitting a Spinebuster.

MVW Tag Team Champions Lingerie Girls Brandi and Wendi Bayless/Prisoner #034291 (Sports Entertainment Consortium) defeat Regina McGill/C.J. Lewis/Kirsten Canfield of Main Street USA when Brandi pins Canfield after she took a Total Makeover from Brandi and Wendi Bayless.

-surprisingly, after the match there were no problems with extracurricular fighting as both teams went right back to their respective dressing rooms.

Television Champion Leah Iris defeated Maxie Perry

Poison Penny (GWO) defeated Miley Vyrus with the Poison Kiss.

MAIN EVENT/HEARTLAND TITLE MATCH: Daisy Cutter-Bomb © defeated Dr. Annabel ‘From Hannibal’ Lecktor with the Daisy Cutter Powerbomb.

-After the show, Jason Carmondy came to the ring and formally announced the MVWA 70 card.

MVWA 70 Card

Ninja Kitty vs. ‘High Flying Intercontinental Flight Attendant’ Airline Amie
‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin (Main Street USA) vs. ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas (SEC)
Christa Carmondy (Main Street USA) vs. Poison Penny (Green World Order)
MAIN EVENT/MVW TITLE MATCH: Kathryn Randall Collins © vs. ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan

McGill’s Summary:

It’s nice that Ninja Kitty will get a television showcase as she’ll wrestle in the opening match of MVWA 70.

Will “Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin and ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas settle their war at MVWA 70? Martin took up Christa Carmondy and Regina McGill’s entrée into Main Street USA while Dallas has signed up with the SEC.

With Jill Berg firmly back in ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan’s corner, will Berg be the final piece of the puzzle that puts the Canadian Cyborg over the top? We’ll find out next Saturday when Carrigan wrestles KRC for the MVW title.

-If anyone thought that the heat between former Heartland champion Carrieanne McDermott and MVW Television “Queen Cool” Leah Iris would die down after Iris’s clean victory over McDermott this past weekend at the MVW house show in Topeka, they were wrong. If anything, McDermott seems even more determined to wrest the TV belt from Iris.
