MVW House Show Recaps- Owensboro, KY and Bowling Green, KY

Six days following MVWA 67, Missouri Valley Wrestling hit the road once again Friday night as the ladies headed south into Kentucky for a house show.

Kathryn Randall Collins was not happy about how her match against MVW Champion Lady Halitosis ended. Would she have a few choice words for the champion tonight?

MVW Tag Team Champions ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin and ‘Texas Cowgirl’ Haley Dallas reaffirmed their dominance over the tag team division with hard fought win over The Kentucky Deerhunters. Now, the Deerhunters start down the road again. Can they claw their way back to yet another title opportunity?

What will become of ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann’s Sports Entertainment Consortium? With their formal taliswoman ‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan, sent out on loan to the Independent Western Wrestling World, he’s been deprived of his biggest weapon.

It’s a short period leading up to MVWA 68 in Carbondale, Illinois. Four house shows in all. Who will impress and earn themselves a title shot? Will Kathryn Randall Collins get a third shot at the MVW champion?

-Nice win here for Americana. They capitalize on a major mistake by the Black Widow that accidently took out her teammate Anna Conda and go on to pick up the upset win.

‘Queen of the Trailer Court’ Lani Harlot defeated Kari Ferguson
-Harlot delivers a stern message to both the Television and Heartland champions that she is still a force to be reckoned with. Ferguson put up a valiant effort but Harlot managed to stick her in the White Trash Compactor and made her tap out.

The Kentucky Deerhunters (Kellyanne Morris/Bailey Foster) defeat ‘Intercontinental High Flying Flight Attendant’ Airline Amie/Hannah Lancer
-The Deerhunters also make it clear that they aren’t going away, grinding out a win over the ever-improving Airline Amie and Hannah Lancer. Step one complete.

Intermission:
MVW Champion Lady Halitosis, flanked by her Green World Order mates (Peta from PETA, Code Pink, Emily S. List, and PeaceNic) comes to the ring and talks about her match at MVWA 67 against Kathryn Randall Collins.

The Champion announces that MVWA 67 was the last time Missouri Valley Wrestling fans would see Lady Halitosis inside the ring. Once the stunned crowd processed what she said, the Champion added: “From this point forward, you can call me just Penny. Halitosis is the name of my brother’s wrestling identity. I don’t need him to help me anymore. I want my own identity.”

Penny then went on to pronounce herself ‘very happy’ with new alliance with the Green World Order. Penny: “We both offer something to each other. I offer them an opportunity to be a part of helping me retain the MVW title in return to giving them a platform to further their agenda. I also don’t make demands of them that they’re not comfortable with…”- referring to when Kathryn Randall Collins headed the GWO and made them go to extra wrestling training sessions.

Penny declares that now that Collins is ‘out of the way,’ she’s looking forward to continuing to be the MVW standard bearer-

Collins walks out and tells the champion if she thinks KRC’s out of the way, she’s gravely mistaken. KRC: “Mark it down, Penny. In just over three weeks, we are going to do this again and this time, there’s no escape, no taking the easy way out, and I am going to walk out of Carbondale, Illinois as the new Missouri Valley Wrestling champion.

Gauntlet thrown down.

Kathryn Randall Collins defeated Daisy Cutter-Bomb via DQ
-And it begins. Collins and DCB take it to the outside. MVW Champion Penny and the Green World Order run down and attack her. Collins gets Glitter Bombed again by Code Pink and Penny jumps up onto the barricade and hits an Imploding Senton Bomb on her. Referee Davey Keels calls the match for Collins via DQ- much to Daisy Cutter-Bomb’s fury. DCB starts hitting Daisy Cutter Powerbombs on every GWO member in sight except Penny who wisely grabs her title belt and slips over the barricade into the crowd.

The Lingerie Girls (Brandi and Wendi Bayless) with the Sports Entertainment Consortium (Mr. McMann, Bo Stevens, and Timothy Allen Tebow) defeat the Mercenaries (Svetlana Kovaleski/Regina McGill)
-The Bayless twins steal a win from the Mercenaries thanks to a little assist from Stevens and Tebow. Kovaleski played the face in peril for much of the match before getting the hot tag to McGill. McGill came in throwing haymakers left and right and sent Wendi Bayless tumbling out of the ring. While referee Ron Martin’s attention was focused on Wendi, McGill then threw herself into the ropes and Stevens and Tebow each grabbed a foot and caused her to land face first to the mat. Brandi pulled McGill up and hit a spinning kick to her chest and hooked her legs for the pin.

Kovaleski and McGill were not pleased.

MAIN EVENT/HEARTLAND TITLE MATCH: Carrieanne McDermott defeated Ninja Kitty © to win the Heartland Title.
-With her Missouri Valley Fight Club partner Harley Davisson watching, McDermott wore down the high-flying Ninja Kitty in a fifteen minute match and finished her off with a Glasgow Kiss to win back the Heartland belt.

MVW House Show
Bowling Green, KY
Saturday December 5th, 2015

Saturday saw former MVW champion Jill Berg start the show with an in-ring segment to discuss Friday night’s match between the Mercenaries and the Bayless twins. Jill noted that since she renounced the ‘dark side’…gratuitous Star Wars mention she notes…that she understands how it may seem as if Jill Berg Enterprises isn’t as…how you say…fanatically and aggressive about protecting their own like before. Jill makes it clear that’s not the case and even though she’s closed the book on her in-ring career, she does recognize that JBE does need an in-ring leader to prevent cheap attacks like the one ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann and his Sports Entertainment Consortium pulled off last night. So, with that in mind, Jill opened up her pocketbook and paid the money to bring back an old Missouri Valley Wrestling favorite…an MVW original…

Christa Carmondy…

A spotlight illuminates Carmondy, sister to the original owner of Missouri Valley Wrestling, as she strolls down the ramp to the ring. The first thing Christa does is announce that she’s become a member of the Missouri Valley Wrestling Supporter’s Trust and urges everyone on hand to join as well. The second thing she says is the SEC is now on notice. Christa tells the crowd that she’s not afraid of getting her hands ‘dirty’ when it comes to cleaning up messes. And if the SEC keep sticking their noses in JBE business, Christa is going to start with them.

Shanna Barrett w/Molly Hatchett defeat Cheryl Parkman
-Barrett marks the return of MVW Original Molly Hatchett with a win in the opening match of the show over Parkman.

C.J. Lewis defeated Desiree Davis
-Speaking of returns, the former Hooter’s waitress turned wrestler C.J. Lewis debuts in Bowling Green. After she makes a point to congratulate the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on winning the Conference USA title, Lewis gets to work and chalks up a victory over Desiree Davis.

Hallie Burton/Christa Carmondy defeat Gwen and Blake Varney
-With their fellow Jill Berg Enterprises colleagues (Regina McGill, Svetlana Kovaleski, Daisy Cutter-Bomb) on hand, Burton and Carmondy overpower the Varney sisters in this match. Christa spent the most time in the ring trying to work off the ring rust and looked pretty good. Burton gets the win after spiking Gwen Varney with the Death Drop of Mass Destruction.

No sign of the SEC by the way.

Missouri Valley Fight Club (Carrieanne McDermott/Harley Davisson) defeat Americana (Colleen America/Kristie Lowe)
-McDermott, who won the Heartland title Friday night, and Davisson get back into the tag team swing of things with a win over Americana. It doesn’t look good early on. Davisson gets into a tiff with the ref and gets nailed hard under the chin with a kick from America. But the MVFC fight back as only they can. McDermott goes to the top rope- which surprises everyone in the building, and hits Lowe with a Missile Dropkick. She tags Davisson back in. Lowe tries to exit, Davisson pulls her back into the ring. McDermott latches on to Lowe’s leg. Lowe looks down and Davisson clocks her with a right hand and then follows with the Kick Stand.

‘By the Book’ Tiana Walker defeated Adrienne Banks
-Walker, back to being a pain in the ass with her nose stuck deep in the Missouri Valley Wrestling rule book, tries to gather some momentum and get herself back into the mix of things. Walker accomplishes the first step with a win over the up and coming Banks. Banks hit a dropkick to the face and follows up with an Exploder Suplex and a pin for 1..2..NO! Banks grabs the arm, looking for the submission but Walker holds the ropes. The MVW rulebook is nearby. Walker grabs the book and smacks Banks in the face. She makes the cover to win the match.

Intermission:
Dawn McGill walks to the ring to update the MVW faithful on the ongoing Missouri Valley Wrestling Supporter’s Trust drive for new members. McGill announces that the total of people who’ve joined the trust now totals over five thousand. She thanks each and every MVW fan for their efforts and hopes that more people continue to join.

Daisy Cutter-Bomb defeated ‘American Girl’ Sarah Mae Smith-Watkins
-The third and final return of the night took place when the American Girl surprised everyone when she appeared. Smith-Watkins, a former MVW Television champion, started fast but faded as the match wore on. DCB even broke out a suicide dive from the top rope as the American Girl tried to take a time out. DCB finished off the match with a Daisy Cutter Powerbomb and rolled up Smith-Watkins for the victory.

MVW Television Champion Leah Iris cuts a quick promo on her opponent tonight- ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot. Iris explains to Harlot that not everyone gets an opportunity to be a star or a champion. Iris is enjoying the moment that she’s worked hard to achieve.

Harlot comes out, flanked by the White Trash Posse (Shayne, Jaxon, and Bobby Rickie). Harlot complains about being screwed out of the Heartland Title by Ninja Kitty and how she’s not the ‘people’s favorite’ because of the way that MVW’s announcers portray her. Harlot tells the TV Champion that tonight she will not earn everyone’s respect and admiration when she wins the belt- she’ll demand it.

The Lingerie Girls (Brandi and Wendi Bayless) vs. The Kentucky Deerhunters (Kellyanne Morris/Bailey Foster)- no contest
-The Bayless twins were backed by the Sports Entertainment Consortium (‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann, Bo Stevens, Timothy Allen Tebow) and they made their presence felt early on. Stevens and Tebow grabbed on to Kellyanne Morris’s legs early on which allowed Brandi to hit a thrust kick.

The Deerhunters fought back and had Wendi Bayless in deep trouble with a double team superkick that knocked her woozy. Foster with the roll up but Stevens and Tebow pull her out of the ring. Brandi and Wendi double team Morris and set her up from a Total Makeover. Brandi goes high with a spinning kick; Wendi goes low with a spinning leg sweep and sends Morris face first to the mat. That brought down Jill Berg Enterprises led by Christa Carmondy and a full on brawl erupts.

After a minute or so, referee Davey Keels throws the match out.

MAIN EVENT/MVW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH: ‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris © defeated ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot w/the White Trash Posse (Shayne/Jaxon/Bobby Rickie)
-Iris and Harlot battle back and forth at the outset. Iris gets the early advantage and Harlot takes five to the floor to rethink her strategy. Iris makes the mistake of leaning over the top rope to swipe at Harlot and the Trailer Park Queen pulls her over and out of the ring. Harlot posts Iris and slams her head on the ring apron.

Back in the ring, Harlot tried to keep Queen Cool on the mat to set up her finisher- the White Trash Compactor. Iris scrambles and grabs the bottom rope to cause a break. Harlot charges, Iris counters with an arm drag takedown and then finishes the job with the Pittsburgh Plunge. Cover…1…2…3.

Post match, Harlot berates the White Trash Posse for not coming to her rescue.
